  1. Did you know that...

...In RSC, Jagex mods did not have the "Mod" in front of their names? Also, Andrew was infamous for standing on the Nature Rune Island in the lava maze and ranging people? Only other rangers could retaliate, because there was no way a normal character could get there.

    =O Haxor much?

Did you know that in the abyss thers a blood alter but you cant enter it?(or atleast use to be havent went in a while)

  2. How the hell am I suppose to get 99 Str now? Bandits? I always get lame slayer task.

Is it worth being in Affliction now? Prob Not. What the hell they reduce exp per tickets now too? FFS! If anything I now have to get 100 combat ASAP to get good worlds. WTF!!!!! I want to jump off a cliff.

    Jagex sucks nuff said.

Maybe tought of the training the way it was originally ment: on monsters!

You aren't supposed to get 126 cmb in 3 months trough pc, it should take years.

Who the heck whats to play an on-line game for years just to hit the highest combat possible? Not me that's for sure.

Well, Rs is about that. It's about achieving something hard and the feeling which brings that. What's the point of getting 126 combat? Indeed! Nothing besides the achievement itself and the respect you get with that, luckily with this update combat might be respected again.

And yes, that can cost a lot of grinding, if you don't like it, the exit is to your right.

How the heck is 126 a hugh achievement? There is tons of them what's the difference of I got or someone else did? None, a simple grats and that's it.

That's exactly the reason why PC has been nerfed.

    Thank god i might add.

This is NOT aganist the rules, YOU are controlling the mouse so it is not macroing, I have asked Jagex if it is against the rules they stated this, and that it is a Windows Application.

    Hope this helps.

  4. I'm sort of in the same boat. I'm currently 50 range with the same goal of getting to 70 as quickly as possible without spending gobs of cash.

So far, I've found that firing iron arrows at the hobgoblins on the island near the crafting guild is very, very quick. You lose your arrows and don't get any drops, but there isn't much competition there and you can keep the arrows flying nonstop.

At all of the other usual places, there is a lot of competition. Giants, demons, ogres, etc. I also find that I end up wasting a lot of time walking around picking up arrows and drops.

I buy my irons at 20ea, I guess I would use bronze if I could get them for 10ea, but 15ea seems much more common so I just go with iron. Next time I'm on, I'll keep track of how many arrows I use in an hour and how much experience I gain in that same period and I'll give you a rough guess at the cost per experience (the guess will be high as I'll do more damage per arrow as I gain levels) along with experience earned per hour.

edit: Someone just mentioned the tip.it ranged calculator. I plugged my numbers into it and this is what I got:

    You need to kill 5,480

29 HP Monsters to gain 635,627 XP

    for level 70 Ranged

If I figure 10 arrows per hobgoblin, it will take me roughly 55k iron arrows to get level 70 which will cost me about 1.1 million at 20ea. I think that my guesses are very conservative so my end cost will probably be less than that.

    tip.it ranged calculator

You can do animal magnitism(or w\e the quest is called) to get ava's accumalator so it auto picks up about 75% of your arrows
