  1. Hey, so I would really like to get to the higher upgraded helmets but I am not much of a pker, are there any easy ways I can go about doing this? Someone suggested killing bots, is this easy to do? Anything else? I would love to hear suggestions if bot killing is viable and if it can be done risk free of not what else can I do?

    thanks again!

  2. Just to clarify, my sister isnt technologically suave, and I would like to make sure that she can operate it frequently, consistently and reliably, i may be biased only because i found a mac really easy to use opposed to other ones i've tried. No serious gaming to be played, i was going to get a air but there is no dvd player, which bugged me alot, knowing her she will just want to casually browse the internet, upload/store photos, and watch movies/televsion.

  3. Guys, I dont need advice on how to save money, I really have no problem dishing out a few hundred dollars and getting a mac, simply because its a mac. What I am mainly looking into is the usage of it overseas, and general travelling. I figured the air would be too fragile, and i hear it has no dvd player, which I think iis horrible, so I am looking into the smaller version of macbook pro's right now.

I own a macbook myself and have found the experience much better then with some of the windows ones I have had before, so I think we should drop the whole PC, Mac argument.

Im leaning towards getting the 1200$ macbook pro just because its more then what my sister will need, plus im sure she will love it, she's not a serious computer user, and it is a bit difficult to get internet in the country i am taking it to.

Also a sidebar, If i purchased a gaming system would it be compatable with things overseas? Probably a silly question but I'd figure I ask it anyway, also, mobile phones?

Why not ask her if she has any preferences? I can't personally justify the expense of a mac, but if you can then by all means go ahead, so long as you know that there are definitely 'pc' equivilants.

Yeah, if you bought a gaming computer it should be compatible with power overseas, so long as the voltage is the same and/or it has a voltage switch on the PSU (applies to desktops only). If it is a desktop by the way, don't buy a prebuilt - make one.

It wont be a desktop, it will be something i can take in my carry on!! :)

  5. Hey, so I am interested in purchasing either a macbook pro, or air for my sister, and I was wondering which would be a good one? I am open to other suggestions its just that those 2 are the ones that i like and what she might like. one of the main things i am looking for is capability for longterm usage overseas, other then the power voltage converting should i look into anything else, ofcourse durability and looks are small factors, i just want to know whats a good one she can use mainly out of the country(school)

I dont have any intentions of purchasing from the country where she studies either because the products there are hard to come by and she lives in a small town. so yeah any suggestions would be great, im not looking to spend more then 1000$ canadian dollars either.

So will products I buy from here work overseas? including maybe an ipod/itunes digital cameras and such? any sort of information would be great!

    thanks

  6. If it were up to me, SteveW would be out on his ass tomorrow heading to the unemployment line. This is what Jagex has come to? Publicly shaming people in stickied threads on their forums? I have a hard time explaining to people at my job that their credit card was declined, what kind of a thuggish [wagon] does SteveW have to be to condemn an entire fansite to endless harassment for the sake of making some kind of [cabbage] statement about protecting the children, a disproportionate response to an imaginary threat.

  7. Hey, before my vacation 4 months ago I was working on 120 dg, unfortunately i only made it to 110, and I would like to finish this goal once and for all. Has there been any major changes? I used to dg with the dg sweepers are they still going on? any updated bind information, anything new that has changed anything? I guess thats all for now, thanks!

  8. I understand that binding a primal 2h is better then a primal battleaxe.

However, if it happens that you have a promethium 2h and you find a primal battleaxe, should you bind it?

For the sheer dps of it (not including ease of switching to magic, etc)

Not everyone can use a b axe to its full potential, being able to turm flash and appropriately attack certain monsters is what makes the difference.

The fact that its "primal" does not make it better then the promethium 2h.

  9. i haven't done any dungeoneering in months so haven't really kept up to date with developments.

i thought a spear was considered the best weapon because you can poison it and use all 3 attack styles, but reading through a few threads today everyone is saying 2h.

has something changed to make 2h better or am i remembering wrong?

i only solo if that makes any difference.

    cheers,

An update came about where you could customize your ring of kinship into different classes, with the beserker class, you could gain up to 20% increase in damage which outweighed the regular use of the spear and posion. Now also with the use of surgeboxes and or hexes, most people dont just use one single class, and are more beneficial as a hybrid.

As for solo, I think 2h will do great, but you should consider getting some large dungs done inna team.

  10. Hmm, Idk if i am able to help.

I do frosties non stop almost. But I have a yak and it helps me alot.

Using Soul Split is all you really need for healing. But you dont have it.

I am not sure what to do then.

    Thank you for helping!

OT: just bring 4 prayer pots, a few sharks in case they melee, 1 anti fire and a war tort, also 2 doses of super set/extremes will work as well.

  11. do you get str exp when you do dungs? if so from 1-85 dung what lvl str will i get? im lvl 65str

In short yes you do get str exp, assuming you use the correct class, i've gone from 95-99 str in dung lols.

I do not know the exact figures howeever.
