See my above post. I can pickpocket gaurds and knights with a failure only 1 in 20 attempts, so to me that would not be a good investment. I am looking for higher yeilds while pickpocketing more profitable NPCs, ie. Paladins, Gnomes, Heroes.
I don't think people are understanding the aim of my question. I use blackjacking for XP, not for making money. I am inquiring about the value of Gloves of Silence towards the use of pickpocketing higher level NPCs for profit.
Right now with 78 Thieving, I succeed pickpocketing a gnome 1 in 10 times. Pickpocketing Paladins yeilds a 1 in 3 probability of success. Has anyone done any testing on how much the gloves of silence improve success rate? Should I get 54 Hunter to use them? (I am at level 1 hunter) I don't think training my summoning to get a magpie is an option as I hear it is an expensive skill to train. I haven't played in three years, are there any other ways to improve my likelihood of success besides leveling up more?
How about if they added a random event or an npc you could visit, that would ask how much you think an item is worth? If everyone could do it, then you wouldn't have to worry about large groups of people over pricing an item...
Hi. I have returned. This community has changed a bunch, so some of you may not remember me. I see misplacedme is still here. What has changed in 3 years?
