  1. Ok, I'm back into RS now (been out for a while, since before hunting and summoning were introduced). Before I left, I was working on bringing my RC level up and its at 49 right now. I have 70 attack, 61 def, and 67 strength, own a whip and about 500k and thats all of any real value. I checked the skill calculator, and it seems like an extraordinarily high number of runes I'd need to cast to get up to 54 so I can craft laws - something like 6 or 7k. Sure, maybe thats not a lot - but crafting nats seemed to take forever, even in the abyss. Has something changed in RCing, or am I just forgetting how much running back and forth really is involved? Also, I have 72 fletching... whats the big cash cow in fletching right now, now that I heard high alching is out? Or is crafting nats, making yew short/longs (buying the logs, making the bs), and alching them the way to go still? Sorry - normally I can figure all of this out myself, but there's so much to take in and a lot of conflicting reports... and I've been out of the RS world for a while! Thanks!
  2. Hey guys, Brief history: I have had my account for 2 or 3 yrs, and been p2p off and on. I've just come back after about a year, and got p2p again. Lvl 81 or so, 1400 total xp I think. Anyways, I was at a "costume party", and dressed up as some weird looking guy in a skirt and lots of pink. I was joking about how I shaved my legs, and then somebody asked me "wtf is wrong with you" to dress up like that. I said I was a "troubled male". No harm done, right? Well, the guy, who asked "wtf" was wrong with me, said "reported?". I thought nothing of it, because everybody likes to pretend to report people it seems these days. Logged in tonight, had two new messages: == Dear [name], We have evidence to indicate that you have committed an offence. As a result, an offence has been added to your account. Please view your Offence History for further information, this can be found via the 'Appeal an Offence' link found in the Account Management/Account Recovery section of the website. Sincerely, Jagex Customer Support == and: == Dear [name], Due to some recent offences, there has been a change to the status of your account. Please view your Offence History for further information, this can be found via the 'Appeal an Offence' link found in the Account Management/Account Recovery section of the website. Sincerely, Jagex Customer Support == Now, obviously the report and offense area has been re-done (as with so much else! gah so lost now in RS!), so this is all confusing to me. My account is still in the "green" zone. Explanation on the page says: == Your account is in the green zone. The green zone indicates that there are EITHER no offences against you OR you may have a small number of offences noted down on your account, in which case there will be no long term implications providing you continue to abide by the rules. == However, the status of the offense is "deferred". What does "deferred" mean? Is it their way of saying "sorry, we goofed up"? I guess my biggest question is, will this effect my chances of becoming a pmod later on? I used to, way back when, want to be a pmod, but I've long since given up any hope of that. However, that last little spark in me still begs the question... Thanks for any answers!
  3. or, should I just get a good set of armor, plenty of food, and start killing easier stuff for a while?
  4. Ok, just wondering at what point it is worth it to go to the metal dragons... taking 4k chaos runes, and enough anti-fire pots to even it out... is that an ok amount? I'm hoping maybe for a dmed drop. I'll spend 500k on the chaos runes, and whatever else it takes for the anti-fire pots, and a few ppots. I plan on safe-spotting, so I won't get too much damage. I've got 63 mage, 65 att and str, and 60 def, 64 HP. lvl 78 combat. Bronze or Iron dragons? Thanks!
  5. ok cool. Pretty much what I thought. Thanks for the time to reply!
  6. I did it with almost the exact same stats, but with 40 range. I used most of my ppots on ranging. This was 7 months ago, though... I just came back from a long break. I wanna try it again... but... I need some better stats, even with what you have and 40 range. I'd say to try it once or twice.. you'll lose money (unless you're lucky), but its a great experience. Don't go in there expecting any returns, though, and only do it once or twice until you have better stats!
  7. Hey guys, I guess this is just a generic topic... but... I used to be P2P a while ago. Did barrows a few times, killed some Bronze and Iron dragons... merchanted a little (sucked at it). Tried to get some decent stuff, but never really had the cash. Anyways, I'm back, hopefully for a while. Maybe I won't get so addicted this time that my school goes down the drain. Heheh. My stats are half way decent... nothing amazing. Total lvl 1028 Combat Lvl 77 Att: 65 Def: 60 Str: 64 HP: 63 Range: 40 Mage: 60 Prayer: 43 Fletch: 67 Runecraft: 48 Fishing: not ranked, but I think I can fish swordies Cooking: same as fishing Before, I was crafting some nats to make a little bit of cash, then i started fletching. I have over 1k yew logs to make some yew shorts. Which is better these days?? Making nats, or should I make yew shorts so I can start making yew longs? Or make longs and nats, then alch? I've got 7 glories... so all I need is to get some ess, and I'm set for nat crafting (ok, I really need like 20 glories. Oh well). Also, what skills should I get up? I'd like to stay attack/strength based, but I think I should bring up range, too. Is mage ok there? Prayer, I don't think I should bring up any more, and def is ok until I want some higher armor. Anything wonderfully glories in the past 7 or 8 months that came out that I should know about? Any crazy new quests (besides that cooking one that I started, the 100th quest)? Anyways, thanks in advance for the tips! --EDIT-- Ah yes, whats a good training spot for my level? Not for the good drops, but just for easy XP? I used to go on the roof of Varrock palace and hit the gaurds... good drops for treasure trails.
