bagpiperdude
Hey guys, Brief history: I have had my account for 2 or 3 yrs, and been p2p off and on. I've just come back after about a year, and got p2p again. Lvl 81 or so, 1400 total xp I think. Anyways, I was at a "costume party", and dressed up as some weird looking guy in a skirt and lots of pink. I was joking about how I shaved my legs, and then somebody asked me "wtf is wrong with you" to dress up like that. I said I was a "troubled male". No harm done, right? Well, the guy, who asked "wtf" was wrong with me, said "reported?". I thought nothing of it, because everybody likes to pretend to report people it seems these days. Logged in tonight, had two new messages: == Dear [name], We have evidence to indicate that you have committed an offence. As a result, an offence has been added to your account. Please view your Offence History for further information, this can be found via the 'Appeal an Offence' link found in the Account Management/Account Recovery section of the website. Sincerely, Jagex Customer Support == and: == Dear [name], Due to some recent offences, there has been a change to the status of your account. Please view your Offence History for further information, this can be found via the 'Appeal an Offence' link found in the Account Management/Account Recovery section of the website. Sincerely, Jagex Customer Support == Now, obviously the report and offense area has been re-done (as with so much else! gah so lost now in RS!), so this is all confusing to me. My account is still in the "green" zone. Explanation on the page says: == Your account is in the green zone. The green zone indicates that there are EITHER no offences against you OR you may have a small number of offences noted down on your account, in which case there will be no long term implications providing you continue to abide by the rules. == However, the status of the offense is "deferred". What does "deferred" mean? Is it their way of saying "sorry, we goofed up"? I guess my biggest question is, will this effect my chances of becoming a pmod later on? I used to, way back when, want to be a pmod, but I've long since given up any hope of that. However, that last little spark in me still begs the question... Thanks for any answers! Italian5kamikaze
It doesnt really affect your chances of becoming one. Quit. PM me if you play The Conduit to exchange friend codes.
shawn3090
You should be fine. "Deferred" means that since you are in the green zone, you do not need to appeal the offense. Also, thanks to an update, if your behavior is good the offense should go away on its own eventually. [hide=Stats][/hide]"One death is a tragedy. basiliko
Jagex is like any politicians, when they goofed up, "deferred" is a better word than saying "Sorry, we made a mistake". Also even though Jagex had said anyone can be a pmod even if they are not in green but still honest player, it is highly unlikely you will be one. Jagex picks more green than other colors...
