  1. Figured I'd quote this post since it was more relevent to the point I plan on making. That point being that the respect meter for Jagex just dropped an epic amount. I've personally ran into my fair share of abusive, ignorant to the rules, generally unpleasant (not an offense, but eh, figured I'd throw it in there.) player moderators. And to realize that they get to keep their title even after an offense? That's just plain ridiculous, and I can't fathom how someone could see otherwise.
  2. Quite possible actually. In a day? No. That's plain and simple logic there. Sure it'd take weeks perhaps, but wait a second, what's that? Customer Support? I figured it was say, their job to do just that. Offer customer support. If I had an account that got banned, I want it to get unbanned, and my appeal to be read by a real person. I'm sure I, and many more other players would agree that they would be more than willing to wait, weeks, even a month or so for a quality, human response. Failing to do a job is no excuse.
  3. I've been one to criticize Jagex's customer support for some time now. And I thought it was almost non-existant, well, which it nearly is. Especially after seeing the torrent of black marks come in last week on my account. One for offensive language, for calling someone illiterate I might add. And another for Misuse of Customer Support (how ironic) for arguing with a mod. But I think my respect for them as a company just dropped in the negatives, after deciding to have a little fun with the appeal system. Only thing edited was my name, and the windows i had open.
  4. Three cheers and a hats off to Jagex and the fine customer support team. Now let's lose the sarcasm and get to the point. Guess what I got! Go on guess, a ban and a slap in the face. I debated with an evidentally 12 year old mod who was borderlining illiterate about Jagex's customer support and how pathetic it was. And how an ape could do better, and in all honesty, I don't know about better, but it could do the same job. And what do I get? A ban for, ready yourselves: Misuse of customer support. Which the evidence clearly, and I emphasize clearly as much as possible, shows no rules being broken. So congratulations Jagex, even though it was only a temporary ban, I've officially lost ALL respect for you. And I figured the updates would be the thing to do it. Better go play some World of Warcraft.
  5. Not to my knowledge. Item scamming refers to lying to others for your own gain. As in "Meet me outside the monestary for a trade." Things along the lines of that would be luring and fall under the item scamming rule. They're programmed to pick up the logs. Technically they did it on their own free will. If bots can have free will. Just hope that the people that reported you get a ban for misusing customer support.
  6. Hold on, let me finish laughing at the thought of Jagex listening to player's concerns.
