  1. I'm wondering as to why you think items such as Godswords are going to increase :S

People don't usually buy Godswords just for their looks but instead for what they can do. You will never see someone training a tedious skill with a Godsword, maybe wearing a rare or something but no more.

Rares on the other hand *might* change and items like the top hat will rise as you won't be bald wearing them anymore.

  2. This all depends on your own personal preferance.

Some people like grinding through skills to achieve that cape, levels, milestones. They want it done the quick and easy most efficient way. They may find it more enjoyable.

But then there's the other type

The play the game for aspect in each skill, getting that level or miletsone is just an added bonus. They like the skill so therefore they train it.

For example, you need say, a high prayer level to solo a monster in GWD.

You want that level as quick as possible so you can possibly make all that cash back and a little extra on the side.

    What will YOU do?

Will you buy all the dragon bones for 80+ pray or go and slay thousands of green/blue/red dragons, whichever is your preferance to get those levels.

You'll get the level ALOT slower, but still by chance make the money you were possibly going to use to buy that skill...

It's all what you prefer. I don't see why people judge others on their personal preferance

    E.g

#1 Ohh there's a guy with a cooking cape, must of bought it.

    #2 what a nub

#1 I agree, it would be different if he worked for it.

    ---

As a matter of fact that "nub" did work for it. He worked for the GP for that high cooking level, it's what he enjoys.

I've seen people earn all the money to achieve a goal, spend it and be broke.

They'll merchant or whatever until they get more gp to buy another 99.

It's fun, what they enjoy. No one should be judged on how they play the game.

A buyable 99 is a 99 anyway, it's not different. People should get the same respect and be treated in the same way.

I'm not self-sufficient (thank Zamorak) as that's what I enjoy.

Wahey for being the nub in the cook cape (I bought it over a period of 6 months :D )

  3. That's a pretty insane bank you have there. 8/10. Do you plan on using your money pile for a rare or 99 or something else?

Off-Topic: What part of Ireland are you from? you don't see many of us on these forums

    Indeed you don't my friend.

OnTopic: Very, Very nice bank. I love how all your valuables are just scattered around your bank as if they're worthless.

    Naice Cash pile too

    10/10

  4. Did Carl even have an account here all those months ago? (no offence if you did carl)

time to get a headstart on him.

Yes, I did happen to have an account "all those months ago"

Sadly, I will no be participating in this months competition  . More than likely, not in the next one either.

That 5 days of May that we had been playing really took alot of time, effort of taking pics, uploading etc.

So yes, Danqazlm, you can have a MASSIVE headstart.

Wish all of you the best of luck.

  5. Merchanting is still possible, but the way in which it must be done now is seveerly restricted.

Me, for one, don't like using Junk for merchanting. If I have from a previous item I've bought I'll use it. But I would put something in G E no problem without junk just because it is to much hassle.

  6. Do you have the link to the forum page? I would like to know if this is a new or old update, because it might effect my merchenting if it's new.

Nope, this is pretty old, it wasn't out at the very start. But now it is, and welll, we all have to deal with it now I suppose.

Hope your merchanting goes well, I stopped after I got membership (back with the old, less badly-improved Grand Exchange)

  7. Well yeah, methinks it's kinda obvious. As I said before, on a different thread that I think these rules were implemented so there's still a sense of player trading when buying and selling.

It does make sense, but not as much to stop mrchants alike from, well, merchanting :|

I hope they're taken out as it's what I use most.

  8. 8-) Nice read !

Ya miniclip was designed for kids with nothing to do other than waste there lives on arcade games where they don't get anywhere yet still play it everyday and then they saw RuneScape...Ohh hey here's another game I can play... Ohhh whats that cape? I bet I can beg from that guy and he might give me free stuff? lets try it?

hey you with that wierd cape can I have a shot? I swear I'll give it back!

And that's the day noobs came, begged and then scammed as they have nothing else to do, it's just another miniclip game to them :-X

  9. I've started merchanting (i didn't like merching in f2p) and while I have something for sale in the GE waiting for it to go I can be in Lumbridge woodcutting yews for extra gp. Its great honestly but alot of things have changed, because no more bots people will have to spend more on raw materials and some finished products will cost less for some skills.
