I had the same problem when my hard drive malfunctioned. On the offchance that you haven't sorted yours out yet, or if someone else has the same problem I found that YamiPod works great for synchronising music from the iPod to your computer. I think Jagex knew people would probably coinshare so they're keeping people from buying up all of the stock of spirit shields/holy elixir for a few days to stop the prices from spiralling out of control straight away. Hopefully they won't wait too long for the stock in the GE to build up though, I'd love to know what the stats are :).
