Yes!, finally people are getting the point of the thread \ , well heres a thing about fanboys they always compare there game to runescape, its like a guy saying my mclaren can own that nissan 1999...thus giving you or the reader a complete junk thought of runescape, thats where the thing comes in you log on kill one thing and have a good laugh at it. Now ive also noticed runescape tends to be very low rated in sites aswell where as games like silkroad(which has 90% bots and 9%newbs) are praised more.

You make really great points here, thats what im saying...take silkroad, cabal, mu online or any other korean games, they have nothing compared to what runescape has to offer and still people have a better attitude toward them rather than runescape. As for there community i really asked around alot and couldnt find a site dedicated to mmorpg's. Gamespot community was biased aswell from a recent post i read.

First of all, ive been playing for years... i said that after reading posts like this on the site, i would have the mentality to hate the game and jus look over it cuz thats what is being implemented to me. All that is what the community there thinks not me...and i didnt quit for any of the reasons above, i am just done with runescape, was great fun while it lasted

Exactly my point it isnt jagex's fault, theres a demand for people buying gold, so theres all these gold sellin websites?no demand from the players= no gold selling sites...so it is the players fault. Wrong. People always said that Runescape wasn't a real MMO, far before this and last year's updates. It's because of the community, graphics, and price. Nobody has any problem grinding for months on a WoW character, but the instant you're doing it in a web browser, it's suddenly a stupid pointless task. It's called the hypocracy of the collective internet ego. And if the game is ruined for you because you were too narrow minded to explore the other 98% of the game (skills, quests, minigames, etc), then why are you still on these forums? Just because you no longer enjoy the game doesn't make the rest of us "carebears", using pathetic insults preemtively against anyone who may disagree with you will just make you look like a child (see any thread by eatrunearrow) on these forums. Now i think this is the only guy that really understood the point of the thread, the point here isnt that if runescape is good or not...its how its being biased to lots of other people and how people dont get into the game and just make statements about this game. You really cant judge a game on its graphics or how it works, its the variety you have in this game is what keeps alot of people playing, as he said in other games all there is grinding. While in runescape, feel like doing some fletching? or wanna kill some monsters?maybe do some quests? and from most games ive played all the quests that they have our kill x amount of this monster or get x amount of this material.

I think your really misunderstood my thread, ive been playing for years and praise runescape over anything...i suggest you read the thread again. Well yes everygame does have its up and downs, but runescape is jus looked over alot of times.
