I personally don't believe that Jagex is doing anything to try and stop the autoers. Thinking back to when i started there were very few autoers, now i see hundreds just fishing... and the number grows. In reality, if Jagex does care, they are doing an extremely sucky job at banning. Some ask: What is so hard for jagex to have a 40 player mods in each world that can ban? All they have to do is go to the magic trees or shark fishing spots every once in a while and ban or freeze a few accounts. This question brings up the age old question, is it better to ban the 10 people and one be innocent or let all go so the innocent one isn't unjustly punished? The fact is that there are people out there that enjoy just skilling. But back to my point, Jagex doesn't care... me and a few friends did some calculations and at BARE MINIMUM Jagex is getting $142,000 a month from these autoers. and could be getting as much as $305,600 from them. Thats a huge pay check each month from just the auto community, a huge paycheck that Jagex doesn't want to see go. Autoers are also the only income that doesn't complain when updates come out... infact autoers, in Jagex's eyes, are probably the best subscribers they have. And you can argue that Jagex does care but i ask you this: Why haven't they done anything? Why hasn't something like the RS "Police" idea stated above come into play? Why haven't they started switching up the process in which you go through the tutorial so its random each time? The answer is simple, they don't care too. For 2 and 1/2 years I've heard that the next big "ban" is coming :^o , but the autoers just get worse... good job Jagex, =D> If you wish to contradict me I only request that you do so logically, I have flamers :D >>Matt<< Note, the numbers above are approximations, me and friends are working to get a greater estimation on macro-user numbers
