5cm/s, Jin roh, Ghost in the Shell: Solid State Society. Didn't really enjoy 5 cm/s. Haven't heard of Jin roh so I'll look into it. and I haven't watched Ghost in the Shell at all Jin Roh has some really cool oldschool style, good animation, and a couple of very badass moments, but it can get quite slow. Ghost in the Shell, you'll be fine even if you haven't watched anything else about it. It's independent of the anime and manga.
