  1. I was wondering which would make the most profit at Dagganoth kings out of the following three methods:

    1. Using a BoB to bring supplies and to carry them back, having it summoned the whole time.

    2. Using a BoB to bring supplies, and as soon as I can kill it and summon a bunyip.

    3. Using a bunyip the entire time.

So far I've only done the first method, but many people recommend the others and they definitely make sense. By not loading up a war tortoise with drops I only miss out on ~130k of dagganoth bones, which is easily covered by the cost of another drop. I can't really see the third method making sense though, because the second gives you more supplies and you can have a bunyip out for a lot of the trip. So, which method have you find to work the best?

  2. You can do monkey madness without getting the experience, you just can't talk to one guy. Just to warn you, you might not be able to go back to ape atoll without getting the experience because the experience person is the one who takes you back. This is just a guess though, so you might be able to go back.

  3. My guess is that there is a problem with some of the characters included in your guide. This probably won't help, but try pasting it into notepad. Then copy it from there and paste it. There are less things you can do with notepad so it might remove the problem.

  4. It is 1/3 or normally combat xp.

it's actually 1,33 hitpoints experience each damage point inflicted.

and 10k str exp = 3325 hp exp

Ok that makes sense but then how can you give a result to his question because if you hit say a 1 don't you get 0 hp xp. Or am I a complete idiot.

You get 4/3 per damage which is 1 and 1/3.

  5.

How do you win 3333 hitpoints experience from 10k attack? it's 4 experience points on attack/strenght/defence plus 1.33 hitpoints experience.

Ten Thousand divided by four means he did 2500 damage. Two thousand five hundred times 4/3 equals 3333 and 1/3. Or just do 10k/3....

  6. Crafting, firemaking, and magic are probably your best options. Cooking is pretty fast, but with how high your cooking is compared to the three I suggested it probably won't be that great. Melee skills are another possibility also, but I'm not too sure about how fast they are on f2p. It will be easier if you split the levels between multiple skills because the experience needed to level up greatly increases at each level.

  7. I'd say, buy an sgs, will help a lot in both Gwd and DK's

An sgs will definitely be something for me to get eventually, but for right now I'll looking for something a little more immediate. I won't be able to afford an sgs for a long time.

  8. Lantadyme seed 1,988

    Dwarf weed seed 7,718

    Kwuarm seed 6,207

    Torstol seed 7,304

    Ranarr seed 20.8k

    Snapdragon seed 28.1k

    Watermelon seed 2,342

    Curry tree seed 1,231

    Calquat tree seed 28.1k

    Maple seed 24.3k

    Papaya tree seed 28.8k

    Pineapple seed 12.3k

    Palm tree seed 73.4k

    Yew seed 56.2k

    Magic seed 156.1k

By the way, this information is found very easily in the grand exchange database on the runescape website. Just search for "seed" and filter the results by price.

  9. It is 1/3 or normally combat xp.

it's actually 1,33 hitpoints experience each damage point inflicted.

and 10k str exp = 3325 hp exp

You "corrected" him to say the exact same thing. However, your formula is less accurate than. Ten thousand strength experience would give him 3333 and 1/3 hitpoints experience.

  10. I make my money and have fun by killing bosses. I was wondering what would be best to buy to help make more. Right now I go to Dagganoth Kings a lot, and I also go to God Wars Dungeon some. I don't have 70 agility right now, but I am working on it so for the purpose of this question we will assume I have 70 agility. When I get 70 agility I will focus mostly on killing the saradomin boss when I go to GWD. The main things I was considering were a bgs, a dfs, and spending money on chinchompas to train range, although any other suggestions are welcome. Another possibility which I don't think is a very good idea is to burst rock lobsters for charms/magic exp and try maging at DK's. So far I have only hybrided at DK's, and never maged.

    My stats right now are:

    83 Attack

    84 Strength

    80 Defense

    86 Hitpoints

    83 Ranged

    70 Prayer

    81 Magic

    68 Summoning

Here are the items I have right now in case you want to suggest something else:

    Fury

    Whip

    Saradomin Sword

    Berzerker Ring

    Karil's top and bottom

    Verac's helm and skirt

    Dragon boots

    Torag Plate

And obviously plenty of other things which probably won't be suggested.

Any advice on what to buy would be appreciated.

EDIT: Buying full guthan's would be another possibility.

  11. Tipit lists the high alchemy value of warrior helms as 36,000 gp, however I just high alched one and received 46,800 gp. The low alch value is 31,200 gp which seems accurate based on 2/3 of the alch value

EDIT: Charged and enchanted warrior helms list values as 36k and 24k, so those are likely wrong also, however I am not sure.

Berserker helms have everything at 36k and 24k, and the alch values are probably the same as warrior helms, I'm not sure though.

Archer helms are 36k and 24k too.

Everything for farseer helms are 36k and 24k also.

Finally, when I valued my farseer helm and archer helm at varrok general it gave me a value of 31,200 gp each, so I think the value for all the Fremennik helms, including summoning versions, should be changed to 46,800 gp high alch and 31,200 gp low alch.

  12. The person being hunted can always fight back. They just usually don't because they are holding the stone so they can't fight with it, and since the hunted is weakened they don't bother trying to fight.

  13. That stinks :( . I have a dragon scimitar I don't use much I can loan you for 24 hour periods. It's not exactly what you were asking for, but it's reasonably close to a whip. I might be able to loan you my whip, especially if you're in a timezone where you'll be on while I'm asleep. I'm GMT-5, so if you leave in western us, or australia I can loan it to you before I log off for the night.

  14. You don't have to kill anyone to get your reward. If you leave and come back, you continue where you left off.

You might even be able to continue where you were even when you die, but I'm not so sure about this part.

  15. I am interested in killing dks, but have one question about what to do. I don't have a ton of money to start and was trying to decide between two things. With my stats I think the best thing would be maging.

Would it be better to buy guthan's and go with my current stats, or burst rock lobsters to get the charms for 68 summoning, probably getting 81 or 82 mage in the process and use verac's?

  16. I don't see why it would be, and the rules seem to imply that as long as your accounts don't interact it would be. However, it would give you an advantage in a way, and I could see how they could use that as grounds to ban you. Personally, I don't think the benefit outweighs the risks.
