The more recent, FO3 and New Vegas, are quite different from 1 and 2. Plus they're really cheap. Then again, they might have a hard time running on your computer. How so? Like, I can see the leveling system changing, probably just being deleted. But the non-linearity is what destroyed me more than the other stuff. What happened is that I found the mutant cave that kills the home base, but by the time I found it I wasn't strong enough to fight, and I didn't have enough in game time to do anything about it. When I replayed, the same thing happened. I know they got rid of the time limit thing, but it's still a very non-linear game I assume.

I played fallout 1 a few years back. I'm not partial to the leveling system, and the game got annoying since I had no clue what the [bleep] to do since it's so non-linear. It was fun, but I don't think I'd play again.

Meh, I'ma play Lufia II again. God, I've played that like 4 times and I still can't get past halfway. :/

JRPG preferably. The last one I played that I really enjoyed was Nostalgia, which is kindof a call back to SNES-era RPGs.

I'm looking for a good RPG. Nothing on Steam looks good. Any suggestions? I feel like something fairly recent would be better.
