On the upside, gonna have plenty of time this weekend. No tournament + early out + no group work = time.

[hide]Speech tournament got canceled due to impending blizzard. *sigh* I'm pretty bummed about it. The tournament we host is always the best/second best tournament of the year. It's a lot of work, but it pays off 'cuz you get to be a speech kid for a day without having to give a speech. So the fact that it was canceled just kinda sucks. More than anything else this year, all senior year long, this feels like the end of something that I loved dearly. Even AcaDec didn't have this sense of desolate closure. The year's not even over, but it just feels like it's done. 2 more tournaments is all, then the rest of the year, and I'm done. I'm just kinda depressed now. Also, went in and talk to my teacher today. She wouldn't let me change books. Told me to suck it up and read it right. I'm going to go get an audiobook tonight, and I hope that helps. :/ Overall, today just kinda sucked. Ergh. If we don't get at least 1 snow day out of this, I'm going to be pissed. That's the only way the universe can make up for this now.[/hide]

I loved bless me ultima. It was actually really interesting, if a bit slow at first. Sorry, I can't see display names and I can't remember who you are. I know all our mods quit, but I don't remember star doing so, so yeah.

I'm going to see if I can get CTC to let me change books for the research paper. Anything would be better than the illiad at this point. It wouldn't be so bad if we weren't Doug so much poetry in class. That just kinda kills everything.

To answer you questions: I don't know what they are. My dad came into my room and was like "here you go Tyler. It's German." I was like "What is it?" and he was like "German." and left. @star: I hate sparknotes. For one, I'm not that kind of a student. For two, if I want to not read a book, I don't want to read a novel of a synopsis of some idiot college kid.

So, what I took from this experiment is that if I try to cut back on my Internet, my teachers will simply fill the gap with non procrastinate able homework. Also there's no way in hell I can get this book read by Friday. I got like 20 pages done in an hour and a half. [bleep]ing poetry man. It kills me.

[hide]Today, I wrote an essay during first block. The essay was assigned not last Friday, but the friday before that. It was boss. I went to class after lunch (I proofread during lunch) and the teacher was talking to another kid about when she got the essay done. She was like "one o clock last night?" I just quietly snickered to myself. After writing the essay first block, I went to my second block class, where there was a mid term I had completely forgotten. The first half was on Friday and I aced that, so I wasn't worried. Then I took the test. For the answer to the final question, I got 1735/253. The problems were meant to be done without a calculator (I didn't use a calculator). I get the feeling I did rather badly on that test. Then after school I went to speech. Friday is our tournament, so we were busily preparing for that. Ended up working until about 5:30. I feel like we are forgetting something vitally important, but I don't know what. But anyway, I ran around helping the new coach get ready. She doesnt really know what she's doing. This is going to be an interesting tournament. Also, for English class, my thesis for my research paper is due on Friday. I haven't started my book. This is going to suck so bad. I need to read a lot this week. We also have a group project due Monday for which I haven't talked to all the members of my group. Don't know how that'll get done. I guess I'll have to make it work. I think I'm going to take a break from tif, at least until I have my book read or my thesis turned in. Just too much to do to be [bleep]ing around online. So I guess I'll see you guys later. I have excellent eyesight. Unfortunately, it's deteriorating. I had 40/20 in elementary school, and it's crept down to 20/20 over the years. Which is disappointing. 40/20 vision was awesome.

I'm going to be sad when I have to get glasses. I can't stand wearing them, and there's no way I would be able to wear contacts.

Yeah, that's gonna happen.
