  1. Are you really going to quit, or do you maybe plan on getting one every once in a while when not busy?

I would just keep it. If you do plan on coming back you'll need them any way.

I wouldnt say its the best "hands down", its the best at certain things ...

But i would say keep it. Even if a new wepon came out better then the whip whats the chance you could afford it straight away anyway, you would probally still need whip for a while.

If a better weapon is released, he can buy whip back for a cheaper price :P

Yeah, that's a point. But still, we don't know anything yet. A new skill, a new combat way? I mean, this is all not confirmed by Jagex. It could take months before this happends.

I would keep it. You are planning to comming back, and when back, there is a chance whip and Dboots went through the roof. It's really hard to tell, but when you start again

you probably need to get the hang of RS again. I went away for months, and I needed to get the hang of the game again.

  2. I've set my kingdom on 10 herbs and 5 coal.

Probablly better to use 10 herb and 5 fish if you want the best of it.

I got 1.1 mil on herbs alone last sunday when I checked after 7 days.

But 10 herb is a must for best profit atm, prices are still huge.

  3. SO when I enter my house in building-mode, I can right click rooms, and remove them.

And I can build them back at an other space so I can organize things.

Well that's a relief, because it's so noob what I have lol :ohnoes:

  4. Well, construction is my lowest stat atm. I never thought I would use it, but by using ToG and completed a quest for construction exp, I pretty much get the hang of it.

At level 42 now, I can make some pretty good things I guess, and I want a chapel and study.

But when I started construction, I was just clicking away, so my house is a mess. I just build chambers where I first clicked, it's a real mess.

Is it possible to remove buildings, and build them again, so I organize my house as much as possible?

Are there things on level 42, you absolutly need, for increasing your house?

  5. I would say Heavy Rod fishing. It's good fishing exp, and you earn some strength and agility exp along the way.

Fishing bait is not expensive, and when you brought a knife, you can use the offcutts too. But just bring enough bait, so you get the best exp.

Don't feel like heavy rod fishing? Go to Shilo village and fly fish. Feathers are more expensive now, but still, it's good experience.

If you want more of a challenge, at 85 and 90 you can go to living rock caverns and fish the rocktails (90) and cavefish (85).

  6. Ah damn! I thought DSS was Dragon Square Shield. Well, I mean the Dragon Square Shield in this topic!

Well, so the whole shield isn't usefull at all, dropped in PvP, so many players own it, so even if I got a left half drop, I shouldn't expect much money from it?

  7. Well I ended the Legends quest today. And while I wanted to buy the Legends Cape, I looked at the price of the shield half, sold in the guild. It is 750K!

I almost thought it was pretty expensive to get, but when I turned to GE, I found the whole shield for 317K max...

What's the deal? I assume nobody is buying the other half of the shield, if the price isn't fixed by Jagex, or am I wrong now?

  8. With 92 att and 99 str, I would see melee all the way.

Perfect levels. No need for a bunyip, so maybe a familiar who attacks with you, or a beast of burden for extra ppots and anti fire pots.

Don't forget holy wrench, it will give more prayer points back when drinking ppot.

  9. Well I can't look up some of your stats, but using melee, you would need at least 80 att, def, strength.

Your slayer helmet will boost your melee. Although your trip will be somewhat short.

Using prayer boosting equipment, anti fire pots ánd anti fire shield should skip his melee attack, and it's fire breath.

    Important to use super set!

I myself used the range method. At 72 range I needed a sip of potion each drag.

With 82, + using range pot, you could do well with range. And no need for bringing ppots, just anti fire pots.

Use mithril bolts or higher, I used addy bolts, but some say broad would do the trick too.

It's really your choice now. With the attack boost from the slayer helmet you have a fair chance. But it will cost more then range.

Never EVER forget anti fire pots!!

  10. Yes I have a sara sword. Bought it two weeks ago.

My last tasks was Lesser Demons, and it was pretty handy killing them with ss.

Also, I will bring nats and a fire staff, for the drops. The more space I have for drops I wish to keep, the better

  11. i reckon there similar if not weaker than fire giants i personally use better equiptment and end up using almost no food

but yeah yours looks alright. but do they drop bones or ashes?

Lol, they drop bones. Otherwise I won't be using the b2p tabs :)

  12. So I'm assigned to kill Dusties again. One of my favorite tasks.

Now on previous tasks I had a set-up, that I wasn't sure of.

    Slayer helmet

    Glory amulet

    Rune body

    Dragon legs

    Dragon boots

    Obby cape

    Rune defender

    Whip/scimitar

    RoW

In iventory I had 8 monks, 160 b2p tabs, gem, super att, str and def (4 dose).

Is there any improvements to make? To get faster through the task?

I can spend like 7 mil or so.

Also, I want to use the sara sword, is it adviced to do?

  13. So let me get this straight.

At a low level, you can use the maccaw and his scrolls to forage herbs. It will turn in a profit if the right herbs come in.

And even with guam 25 gp each, it will be a LITTLE moneymaker.

At higher levels, use the fruitbat for papaya drops. Could be a good way to make money.

At a very high level, the unicorn pouches are good, even packyaks?

  14. Well this is the thing, I want to get my hands on a God staff. So I checked the mini-game page on tip.it

It says that the quickest way to the arena is pulling the lever in THE house in Ardanouge.

Now, Ardanouge has MANY houses, so wich one is it?

  15. Herb farming is a good idea with the recent herblore update. Although I have the feeling prices will fall soon. It's just a feeling though.

Also, try tanning dragon hides. You want to bring a couple of mil (if you have it) and buy Red > Green > Blue > black hides.

Red seems to have the highest profit, but it is a pain in the cabbage to buy and sell.

Green is a nice alternative, almost 200 gp profit, and it buys and sells easy.

Buy hides at the GE, save a little money for tanning (20 gp for each hide) and go to Al Kharid. Tan your hides, and sell the leather in GE.

With 10 mil invested, it will profit you 1 - 1.2 mil.

A tiny moneymaker is buying yew longbow (u) and bowstrings and simply string the bows. The yew longbows sell almost right away.

People buy the bows from ge for High alching.

But it will cost you time, much time, and the profit isn't that high per hour. But in the end, you get a 99 skill and can add millions to your cash pile.

SO in a nutshell: try tanning hides. And if you really want, try the stringing. But it isn't a very good money maker.

Tanning the hides in Canafis would be faster then doing it in Al Kahrid.

Yes it is, however, the tanner in Canifis charges more then 20 gp. Don't know exactly how much more, but it's more then Al Kharid, meaning less profit.

  17. Yeah sorry about that Im 85 defence and 60 summoning. Was thinking about getting prayer up but I heard you dont need prayer for waterfiends

Using prayer on Waterfiends is a must, if you want to stay longer. Otherwise you have to tele out soon, and getting charms is a hell of a job.

Its not really a must. When i was lower levels i could stay only using a Bunyip to heal me. Once you get to the Unicorn you can easily get away without having to use prayers. But if you do pray, you'll still make some money from their drops. And since it is so easy to get to them using the Fairy Ring banking shouldn't be much of a problem.

Is the fairyring two ways? You can tele to the cave, and tele out there? I thought it was one way only...

  18. I love you guys

I was a bit scared to go there, but when I read all of this, I think I give it a shot. i.o.w. I use the range option, take me some anti fires and maybe a range pot.

What I already knew was this isn't a quick task. But I think geting some exp with the steels is a good option too.

Well, I thought slayer helmet gives 15% on range and mage too. But it's only melee. What a not so nice surprise. But I should have known that.
