I don't have a bunyip though; my summoning is too low and I don't want to train it.
I have Claws of Guthix, but wouldn't Fire Surge be easier to use and better? I'm almost 95 magic.

Is this a good idea? I can go in to a world with lootshare on and go in while a team is there. I can go to the safespot and hop worlds to an empty one.

Would it be quicker to do solo? If so, until which level? And which complexity should I play in?

I decided that I really want an Arcane stream necklace, and maybe a Chaotic crossbow in the future so I'm looking for ways to increase my dungeoneering.
1. How high should I raise my Dungeoneering with tears and penguin points?
2. At what level should I find a team, and how can I effectively find a team at a low level?

I think I might give soloing Rex a shot with your strategy, and I'll get 95 magic for Fire Surge. Thanks for your help. Or would Claws of Guthix be better?
Also, I don't really know anything about the DKs, so how can I avoid Prime and Supreme?
Should I wear guthans while maging? I already have a Staff of Light and Guthans is cheap enough for me to buy now.

Would it be possible for my character to take on the Dagannoth Kings to make money? Maybe with a specific strategy?
I have 75 defence not 73, and I have a Dragonfire shield.
Also, isn't it risky to bring in valuable items since it's hard to go and get your stuff back?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't the Shilo Village and Lost City battles potentially give you a combat level?

The blessed spirit shield would probably be better, but I'd have 2 more combat which might not be worth it. I'd have 1 more combat with the DFS, so maybe I'll go for that.
Unholy book is way too expensive..

In slayer, I do have some situations where I do have to take damage and sometimes I wish I had higher defences.
I also do Barrows very often and I alternate between mage / range.

Wouldn't a void deflector be better?
The blessed spirit shield really does seem like a good idea - it has much better defense bonuses than both the deflector and defender, but it does come with increased combat level..

23 summoning and 60 prayer for a shield would increase my combat from 91 to 94.. I do enjoy p2p activites so I'm not so sure about that. It is a very good shield though, to be honest.
I wouldn't need the strength bonus, that's true.
Any other opinions?
I just realised you need 75 def for the dragonfire shield... maybe I'll go with blessed spirit shield. I changed my topic title anyway.

Dragon defender for magic / range? I think the book of balance would be better..
But it doesn't lower it by much really, and it has huge defensive bonuses.

It's price dropped from 20m to 14m since I quit so I've been wondering whether I should buy it. I have around 24m. I have a book of balance and I was wondering if the Dragonfire shield would be more useful for slayer and minigames where I use range / mage.
Thoughts?
Also, I don't really like to melee.

Yeah, I thought runecrafting would be more fun.. just tried it and was disappointed.
I do pk sometimes.
I've done Barrows hundreds of times and I've made like 30-40m from it so it's pretty boring now.
Definitely gonna try out Fist of Guthix and Stealing Creation. I hardly know anything about them though.

I think I'll consider training runecrafting with the ZMI altar. Thoughts? Maybe I can dungeoneer after.
I was already doing slayer before I quit.. it got pretty repetitive. It was fun though.
I don't really want to train prayer, summoning or melee since they'll raise my combat.
I already have a fire cape.
I'll read about SC. How about Fist of Guthix?

I'm only like level 7 as far as I remember. I don't know if I'd be good enough to join a team, and my melee and combat are a bit low.

Maybe I'll try dungeoneering, but it's been boring me to death so far. How can I make it more fun and fast? I want the arcane stream necklace as soon as possible.

I haven't been playing for a couple of months because of boredom - I haven't been able to find anything to do. I want something that preferably isn't repetitive and is fun. I'm welcome to any suggestions.
I have around 25m cash and I'm worth around 40m with everything.

Honestly, what's with everyone suggesting Melee all the time? It's a very risky strategy and a potential waste of resources. Just go ranged, it's safe and reliable. Jeez.

I've been thinking that bunyips might help in my range + slayer training. So far I have around 900 gold charms, around 300 green charms, around 150 crimson charms and around 50 blue charms.
How many more will I need for 68 summoning? Would it even be worth it for me?
I have 94 magic so I can barrage but that'd be a bit expensive for me.

Speaking of which then, anyone willing to lose on purpose (if you don't care about ranking) so we can both get points?

Would it be against the rules to find a friend to lose on purpose? Because I still don't have the void deflector and it's torture to play Conquest.
