Pest control is a fun game.This is a Guide that teaches you how to play it. 1.Introduction 2.How To Get There 3.How To Play 4.Tips 5.Pests 6.Positions 7.Rewards 8.Credits Introduction Hi.This guide teaches you how to play Pest Control.It is an Player VS NPC Game. How to get there It really simple,really.Go to Port Sarim and go to the 2nd south dock.Ask the Squire to take you there.It's free of charge. How to play The game is really simple.All you have to do is to let the Void Knight stand for 20 mins.Sounds boring,eh?It is not!You have to kill pests who try to kill the Void Knight,and you have to kill the portals to speed up the game. You can take your Weapons,Armor,anything.If you die,you don't lose your items.You have to kill pests and portals.That's how the game works. Tips 1.Kill all the Spinners you see. 2.Shifters are really annoying,so try hitting them with a mage or range attack. 3.Always keep the gates closed.If you don't,Several Torchers and Defilers Will attack the Void Knight.And that's a bad thing. 4.If possible,Get logs and a hammer,hatchet is optinal BUT strongly reccomended.You can repair the gates or barracides.Watch out for Ravengers though. Pests Here's a dictionary for all the Pests(monsters,NPCS) Shifter These are really annoying.Always attack these if they are attacking the Void Knight.These can also teleport a short distance so it's reccomended to use a Magic Or Ranging Attack. Defiler A Pest that uses a range attack.It can hit high.Kill if it's attacking the Void Knight,but another option is to close the gate so it can't hit it. Ravenger These are a real pain because they are very destructible at destroying defences(Barracides,Gate,Wall)If you see one destroying a defence,kill it! Other than that these are a minor problem. Spatters These are STRONGLY reccomended not to kill them because if you do they splat and deal high damage so the only true purpose of destroying them if they are heading in a direction of your defences or you are surounded,because if they splat they deal damage to other pests also.Very Strongly reccomened to kill them with a mage or range attack or a haliberd. Torchers Much like the Defiler,Because they team up with them to destroy the Void Knight exept they use a magic attack and have less power,but still strong. Spinners These are VERY STRONGLY reccomended to kill because they heal the portals fast.They hit low and are not a pain to kill,but you should still pile(Tell everyone killing a portal to kill the spinner,then go back)it. Brawler These are big and you can't walk through them,so ONLY kill it if it's blocking your way,or just use a another way because they hit high and are a pain to kill.Plus,they never attack the Void Knight,they usually tend to attack other players. Poitsions Portal killers: They will focus on killing portals and spinners.No surprise there. Defenders: These will kill the shifters and anything else attacking the Void Knight. Wall Defenders: Position I made up.These kill Defilers,Ravengers,and Torchers.Ravengers are a top thing to kill. Wall Carriers: Another one I made up.Carries Armor,logs,and a hatchet. Mage-Ranger Holding: This role is quite hard.Go to the Towers,and mage-range any pests coming. Rewards: You get points(pests Points,PP for me short)and coins based on your combat level-each combat level you have,you get 10gp. you can exchange the PP for prizes.Here: Exp-Attack,Strength,Defence,Ranged,Magic,Prayer. Void Knight-Mace,Bottom,Top,gloves,helms,-mage,attack,Range. Packs-Herb,Ore,Seed(All Random) There is a catch.you need to DEAL 50 damage to the pests so that you can get points and gp.Repairing a defence also gives 10 to you damage count. it is in the North-east corner,by the Void Knight's Hp.The Text is red when you haven't reached 50,and green if you have.
