Def/Range tank or Pure range?
The title preeeeety much says it all. I wouldn't mind getting a few months of member credit if it was worth it. I definitely want to do range, but which is more useful? I don't want to pour a heck of a lot of time into this character, so a low-level pk-er seems best. Thanks in advance! P.S: If there is any info I left out, feel free to let me know.

Increasing money
Okay, here goes: I will have about 5m to invest. I would like to increase my cash as to accommodate a 99 skill, or two. What do you suggest? Thanks in advance, Sand_hill Stats:

Slayer, and several questions I have.
Thanks guys. I will be obtaining charms from slayer, so this way I'm getting xp in my combat skills, hitpoints, slayer, AND summoning. Now there's efficiency. :-P 100 days! That is much less than I expected. Sweet! :) Thanks again!

Slayer, and several questions I have.
Hey Tip.It! I have several questions about slayer. Hopefully I can get them all answered. 1. Is this a good equipment setup? (Thanks draynor.net!) My stats are as follows: Please keep in mind I will have 70 attack and defense within the next week or two, so I will be able to wear all this gear lol! Not included in the image is my granite shield/rune defender. After buying all of this, I will have about 1m gp left, which means NO, I CANNOT BUY A FURY AMULET. Lol. Please do not suggest this. 2. Is the Spinner summoning pouch really worth it? I know it heals you, but it's incredibly expensive if you use it on a consistent basis (G.E. price 10k) 3. Is it worth my money to train summoning? I hear the Bunyip is very useful for Slayer. I will make more money after this, don't worry. :D 4. How long do you approximate it will take for me to get to 85 slayer (My level now is 40-something) playing two hours per day?

PVP-only characters!
Runescape PVP-only characters! Created: 9.14.08 Supporters: [hide=][/hide] Find System (ctrl+f) Introducttion: [iNT] Stats [sTA] Bank and items [bAI] I have been brewing this idea in my head for a while, so here goes: [iNT] Have you ever spent hours on making a PVP (player-versus-player) character that you use solely for duels and Player-killing? Well, this is no longer necessary with the addition of PVP-only characters. There would be no need to train a separate character; you would be able to create a character only usable in the Duel Arena or Bounty Hunter, and other combat mini-games. [sTA] STATS: "How would a player be able to create a character without training?!" you ask. Well, this new system would be created under your main character and draw from its stats. For example- A player's main character has combat stats like this: 74 Attack 83 Strength 92 Defense 81 Hitpoints The sub-character (PVP only character) would be able to have stats UP TO AND INCLUDING 74 Attack, 83 Strength, 92 Defense, 81 Hitpoints, et cetera. The sub-character could also be made with lower stats, (e.g. 60/70/40). I see no reason to believe that this would affect PVP negatively; in reality, it would boost the economy and PVP part of Runescape. [bAI] BANK AND ITEMS: The sub-character would use the SAME bank as the main character, meaning that withdrawing something into a sub-character would make it inaccessible to the main character until the sub-character deposits said item into the bank. A miniature version of the grand exchange, containing only combat items, would be built into the Duel Arena. Cash would also be drawn from the main character. [sUM] Summary PVP-characters would make fighting a lot more enjoyable, and would require less time spent on the side character. A player would be able to get right into the game, without training a side character for endless hours. I hope you enjoyed this, and show your support with this signature bar: [url=http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=761902][img=http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c137/TheNicknamedOne/support.gif][/url]

Attack Training with Toktz-xil-ak
Would it be better for me to train attack to 70 with Toktz-xil-ak and the Berserker necklace or a Dragon Longsword and glory? I am training at Giant Frogs in the Lumbridge caves. Thanks! EDIT: Toktz-xil-ak is the OBSIDIAN SPLITSWORD. (For those that don't know) Berserker necklace makes Obsidian weapons hit higher.

Farming Path
Which quest is the Ectophial from? Honestly, since I just finished Desert Treasure I'm pretty quest'ed out at the moment. :-P EDIT: I really like the sound of the Explorer's ring (3) *drool* I think I might just have to get it! How hard is it to finish the diaries?

99 Woodcut Timeframe
Tai Bwo Wannai, but you need trading sticks. You can also find them in some far off area like Khazari Jungle, Ape Atoll and Uzer. Castle Wars area and Mos Le' Harmless also have some. An easy way to use the castle wars one is with the Fairy Rings. They are indeed a blessing because it's free, easy to get to, and faster exp than willows, with more profit. :-)

Farming Path
I was just wondering if this is the best farming path for me. I'm getting 32 farming using Sweetcorn. Ranarrs are after that, and I figure this would work for them too. Please tell me if you need any more info! A little advice goes a long way! :) Sand_hill's farming path! Camelot teleport, (BANK AT CATHERBY) plant seeds/harvest plants at Catherby and Ardougne, then: Teleport to house, then: Mounted glory teleport to Draynor*, plant seeds/harvest plants, then: (BANK HERE) Teleport to house, then to Canifis with house portal, plant seeds/harvest Wait 55 mins for corn Repeat Items Needed: House tele x2 (1778 gp) Law rune x1 (313 gp) Air Staff Supercompost x8 (5360 gp) Sweetcorn seeds x24 (13,824 gp) Also, should I repeat this several times, watering the corn as I go? Or just water it once and see what happens? Thank you in advance! *I am unable to recharge Amulets of Glory, so I figure this is my best shot

How to make a tank/ranger?
Hey tip.it, I am making a second character, just to see how I can do in pvp areas of Runescape. I have decided to make a tank/ranger, and I was wondering if someone could point me towards a guide, or tell me how to accomplish this. Thanks!

Ranged training with knives
So Rune Crossbow with broad bolts after 70? I have some money I can play with so I don't feel like being cheap and using 32k bronze knives :wall: I think I can do that. Thanks everyone!
-
Ranged training with knives
You're the only person who didn't say to skip knives. Are they really as slow as they sound?
-
Ranged training with knives
I looked up broad bolts in the grand exchange, and all that came up were unfinished ones. What's wrong here? Also it says that they are "for use with turoth and kurasks." Are they ONLY for use with these?
-
Ranged training with knives
The dark bow is just for fun. I like crossbows a lot, so that sounds like my best bet. Thanks guys! Wish me luck XD

Ranged training with knives
I am planning on buying a dark bow soon, so I guess I'm covered. What method did you use to get to 92?

Ranged training with knives
Quick question: about how many iron knives would it take to train ranged from 60-99? Also, are they picked up by Ava's Accumulator? Thanks in advance!

What to do?
Nope, you heard wrong. EVERY potion costs less than the ingredients to make it. You'd be better off training combat, slayer, the resource gathering skills, or runecrafting. How about magic training? I am already tired of using curses to train magic. Or maybe Summoning? If so, where is the best way to obtain charms? EDIT: The other option is for me to do Barrows and buy a bunch of runes and prayer potions and hope for the best!

What to do?
I already have 51 rc, decided I didn't like the abyss. 68 woodcutting, 80 fletching. I guess I should have posted my stats. Sorry about that! Does this change your advice?
