Old attractor vs New attractor
Sucks. Nerfing the arrow spawn annoyed me greatly. I went back to my lowly Slayer cape.

Dark beasts
Their Unique drop is the death Talism. Worthless but really handy for completing ME2 without the last BS dwarf collection. Sort of a bonus for the Master Slayers, as we were referred to by an NPC during the quest. Thats why I entitled my Slayer Guide the Master Slayer Guide if you must know. This topic is full of deceit and misinformation. They don't have a secret drop. Dont try waste the pie noob Slayer's time there hoping they get a super secret drop. Their drops are garbage and using my method to kill them per my guide, you will be wasting prayer pots. No they aren't. They can drop, yes, but no more than any other monster that can drop a dragon item. Don't spread info unless you personally can back it up.

farming
My own farming method. Only thing that is different now is that I use the 5th herb patch from the My Arm quest. And I bind my nature ammy to that patch. Super efficient and fun between slayer tasks. "Even though I Run The Slayer's Guild, I have been spending alot of my time farming. I have recently hit the highest useable level of 85 and will here share my farming method which works for me. Keep in mind I am not the farming authority, but farming in the method I will show you here wll help you efficiently plant between tasks then get back to other things. Before we start, an overview. You will be planting mainly Bushes, Herbs, and limpwurt roots. If you have Strawberries, Corn, and Watermelon you hope to plant you will be planting it in Catherby since it is the only allotment close to a bank so you can bank your harvest. Also ALWAYS USE SUPER COMPOST. In the following guide you will learn my technique to unlimited Pineapple. Never plant without it. The order is Varrock, Port Phantasmys, Faladore, Ardougne, and finally Catherby. You will be doing your farming in 2 shifts. First get th above inventory and Tele to Varrock. I buy out the Battlestaffs from Zaffs Staff's to help my crafting mainly then plant or pick (White or Janger)berries west of the champions guild. Most people can skip this step but since I need the staves and berries I always do this first. Then you use your ectophial and tele to Port Phatasmys. Pick your herbs and re-plant. if you have 3 empty spots pick and replant your limpwurts. Tele to Faladore. Bank your herbs and head to the falladore plot. Pick and plant your herbs and limpwurts. Tele to Ardougne. At this point bank your harvest and your farming tools. You will be taking a break to boat over to Brimhaven 2 or 3 times. At the dock you can buy 15 pineapple for compost, and 20 seawead/10 Soda Ash for crafting. If you dont mind banking and returning you can buy out the rest of the dock stock then go a bit south and pick your fruit trees. I have a Palm tree in this location. Also if you need anymore pinapple you can go south and pick the 5 pinaplee trees there. Tele or boat back to Ardougne. Bank your dock products and retrieve your farming tools/compost. Go north to the Ardougne farming allotment. Pick and plant your Herbs and Limpwurts. Tele to Camelot. Fill up your water can at the Camelot fountain then bank your yield in Catherby bank. Go north and pick and plant your herbs and Limpwurts. At this point you need to Bank your harvest, retrieve 15 buckets, and empty the super compost bin. Bank then retrieve 15 pinapple and place it in the bin and close. As said before if you have Strawberries, Corn, and Watermelon you hope to plant you will be planting it at this time since it is the only allotment close to a bank so you can bank your harvest. When doing ths you will not be planting limpwurts of course but will be planting Nasiratums to protect your Watermelons, a scarecrow to protect your corn, and paying the Farmer a basket of apples to protect your strawberries. If you have the Nasaritums or scarcrow protecting your Watermelon or corn your crops will rarely die. Do the Fairy Tale Part 1 Quest. You will be rewarded with a set of magic secataurs. These are said to give a 10% bonus to your yield per the Jagex Knowledge Base. If you can buy an uncharged Amulet of nature or make your own, the Amulet of Nature really helps you with your farming. What I do is bind it to my Catherby herb patch and if I'm on it alerts me when my plot is grown or if any problems come up that I need to go cure them. If not busy I'll go do another farming run immiediately after getting the message. If any of my other herb plots are diseased at this point I can buy plant cure and heal them as I visit the plots. Last thing you need to know is how to get seeds. As a slayer Nechryals, Dagganoths, and Trolls provide you with a good amount of herb seeds, however you may decide to buy from players to get a more steady source. You can buy herbs straight up 15-20k for Rannar and 15-25k for a snap are good prices and will guarentee a profit on the herbs yielded. Sometimes you are in a bank and a noob is selling seeds cheap. Take them up on it as you will make many thousands of dollars by taking the time to trade for small amounts with new players. I personally have used my fame to advertise my herb deal of 3/1 herbs to seeds. If you compare te street value of the herbs to the value of the seeds I am losing a little or breaking even on street price of the seeds. But when you plant you make the money back if it lives and you harvest more than 5. Other farmers do 4 or 5 to 1 but your profit drops off and you are hosed if your herbs die. Limp seeds are a pain to get. Most sellers only have a few to sell so its hard to buy a good quantity. I pay 1k ea or trade 1.5 limps to 1. My current batch of seeds I got 1000 from a player for 1.5k each, thats not a good deal but it saves me the hassle of having to stop and beg noobs to sell me 4 limp seeds each time I want to plant. Sure you only get 3 per successful limpwurt harvest but as much farming as you do it will add up and make you alot of money when you decide to pot and sell your super sets. Farming is a very cool skill that you can train away from the computer. I plant when I wake up, every hour and a half when I am online, and before I go to bed. When not playing RS I just hop on fast, farm and log. Then I go outside and do my Yardwork (Farming IRL) or other tasks mandated by THE WIFE. It all adds up. In closing this is my personal method of farming. It takes me 15 minutes tops to do if I don't get sidetracked and has already become my most stable moneymaker. Its well worth developing and the rewards add up the higher you go. Keep working hard planting and building your herb and seed bank and one day it could look like mine. Farm On as you Slay On, Axe Man Jack"

~Your View on full Guthans~
it was worth it whenit was 15-20 M It is essential slayer gear if you want to be efficient. Some people wear the set and just swap shield/whip for spear to heal but I think you get a lot more use out of by swapping armours. I probally have to repair once every 3 weeks doing this as opposed to 2-3 times a week if I were to wear it all the time. Slay On, Axe

What's Your Runescape Regret
Selling Blue party hat when they were 10M to buy a set of dragon armor (Helm, Shield, and Longsword) of which the Shield I can't even equip. Dropping/giving away 15 or so santa hats away on f2p world 1 when they were around 2 M. Continuing slaying past 85 instead of camping at abbies when they dropped whips more frequently and price was 6 Million Gp.

I need help spending money.
Go waste it on trying to insult someone as you attempted in your Slave Auction bid. Failing to find someone willing to entertain such a stupid request you would probally be wise to invest it in a rare and forget about it for awhile. Having hosted many high value drop parties in the past, I have found you feel more frustrated with the greed of the attendees than any possible feeling of goodwill you had hoped to obtain. You could invest it in barrage runes and have fun in castlewars. Buy a bunch of yews to burn. Buy a bunch of sharks to cook, sell, and repeat until you max out cooking. Or, of course, find another high level to harrass and insult in an attempt to shame them and make them quit RS. You have the GP that means you are all powerfull! But when the monies are all spent and you are left with only your thesaurus and that empty feeling, you can always take up Hunting.

Why people still trying to get slayer 85? :-\
You presented an argument that insulted some peoples method of enjoying the game. You did poor job initally and got spanked. Now you want the topic closed. The answer to your specific question has been answered by those who cared to post. I truly hope your next topic isn't "Why Would Anyone Hunt, Mine, Woodcut, Craft, Firemake, or Farm past a certain level?" People do it becasue they enjoy it. If you personally don't, stop. If you do, keep going. Good luck in whatever you do. You are just realizing that tip.it isn't the right place to host such a discussion. If you care to, search my old topics when I lamented the whips rarity to its current market price of then 3m. I got flamed by the jealous but you get over it. Keep slaying and maybe get rich through a future update (82 herblore, 90 crafting when it was updated?). Peace out.

Why people still trying to get slayer 85? :-\
Its better than no lifing at bandits or pest control. A Slayer cape is sexy. Because the cape is sexy, Slayers get chicks. My sexy guide in the archive of wisdom makes leveling easy. Many Slayer monsters drop level 3 clue scrolls, which with the addition of the 3rd age Armours makes slayer very lucrative again. Any potential expansion of the skill you will be ready to profit from. Variety in training. Meet new and exciting monsters... ...And kill them. A goal to shoot for. __________________ All that said, if you don't want to train it, nobodies making you. Using your logic there is no reason to level any skill past its highest currently usable point. If it's still fun past 85 for you... Slay On Axe Man Jack

Are You A Famous Tip.It'er?
Hawtest looking IRL maybe. I'm famous or infamous depending on who you ask. On tip.it I posted a decent slayer guide and once gave away like 15 santas on f2p world 1. On RSC I imported my guide to their guides section and am known as a "Big Flamer" In the clan world I am known for mocking an Aussie's threatening teamspeak speech and am loved or hated depending on if you followed that person or not ( Which nobody does anymore as that clan has since died ) Looking at my Slayer clan's applications most of them come from other sources but I started at Tip.it and it will always be the place I call home. I don't really think I need to be a famous tip.iter but realize that the longer you play something the more people will know who you are.

Best/Worst Slayer Assignments
Infernals are really effortless. Use bones to peaches. 2 casts will keep you going for a whole assignment if you wear hides.

Best/Worst Slayer Assignments
This topic has been done a few times before recently. Very recently. My answer is 199 Basislisks for best (Great useable loot without the aggravation of praying for a whip). Then again nothing wrong with one of these...
