When our God-Emperor Andrew Gower created Runescape His vision was clear. A land filled to the brim with natural resources just waiting to be tapped. A land where people would work in unison extracting those resources! A land where all would be honest, hard working laborers making their living by selling the resources around them! Where all would be equal! A land where all lived to fulfill his desire! A land with no differences! This was His vision. His vision of peace. All unified, working hard for the glory of Runescape. However, he did not foresee the poison that would enter His glorious land. The merchants, the pk'ers, the pures, the entrepreneurs. All these "individuals" with their sense of self entitlement. These people who played, not for the glory of Runescape, but for their own self interest. These selfish pigs would take Runescape in a much different direction than what Our God-Emperor Andrew Gower had intended. They would lead it into a state of chaos: Different ideas, different playstyles, different goals. This was not unity. This was not peace. For too long, they plagued the land with their greed. The merchants, with their filthy lies and deceit, took away money from the honest hardworking man. Only to further line their pockets with gold while the honest man struggled. The pures and Pk'ers, relying on trickery and backstabbing, stole away the hard earned money of the working man to further richen themselves and their many alts. The entrepreneurs with their companies, while seemingly supporting the working man, were in reality taking most of their profits for themselves while leaving the worker with only a meager portion. All these, and perhaps more, took the hard earned cash of the working man away for their own gain. Motivated by greed, they aspire to only more self serving interests, backed by their bloodstained gold. They had their own thoughts and beliefs.The honest, working man resented the wealth of these individuals but could do nothing to stop them. They did not act in accordance to Our God Emperor's vision and this was the result. A world filled with hate. So it should come as no surprise to these infidel pigs that Our God-Emperor Andrew Gower has unleashed His fury upon them. Our Leader is not a coward. He is Our Valiant Leader and will not surrender to these pigs.So He did what He must. He took control of the world He had created. To set it back on the right path, His path, and do away with all that challenge His vision. The Grand Exchange. The ingenious core of Our God-Emperors plan. Truly a magnificent creation. At first glance it would only stop the self-serving merchant scum in their tracks. With items for sale hidden away from the view of the populace, Our God-Emperor is free to set the prices to what He deems correct. No longer will merchants influence the economy with their filthy money. The honest, working man will be able to purchase items at affordable prices so that he may continue to work in peace. Ah, but it is so much more! By making the Grand Exchange the ultimate authority on all prices, Our Lord was able to destroy the trade system. No longer will the wealthy upper class aid each other with items and pure gold in order to control the lives of the working man. No longer will they exploit the working man by using him as cheap labor. They have been limited and this limitation only affects these selfish pigs. The loyal, working man has no need to trade. He works for all his items, for all his gold, in accordance to the vision of Our Lord. The Wilderness previously the den of these infidels, a place where they would go to kill the innocent in order to take their hardearned gold, has also been dealt with. No longer will they be able to exploit the working man through this method either. Our God-Emperor has granted His Divine Protection upon them and now they may work in peace in the Wilderness. No longer will the honest Runecrafter be fearful of being killed by some Pk'ing scum. He is now protected and can work in peace. The Pk'ing scum can still have their fun, amongst their own kind, in the dirty back alley of the world known as Bounty Hunter. For Our Lord is not without mercy, He allows them to exist as they are no longer a threat to His vision. God-Emperor Andrew Gower has laid His Judgement on the land of Runescape....and He has won. He controls the world economy. He controls world trade. He has neutralized the poison in Runescape. Now His vision will come to fruition. The working man can now work in peace. All with the same goals! The same ethic! The same ideas! A world of peace! Just as Our God-Emepror had envisioned! I support this upgrade... FOR I AM A WORKING MAN! I WILL COOK! I WILL MINE!
