  1. I'm not really into Sci-fi, I prefer fantasy, swords and spells and all that. I will probably give it a try like the majority of people, but I can't say without giving it a test run whether I will play it like I play runescape.

I think mechscape will be interesting to see any similarities between runescape and mechscape and see what Jagex has actually done on the game.

  2. There has always been begging in Runescape, only now they can only ask for 3k. Just tell them no and keep on walking. I find them annoying, but not too annoying that they drive me insane.

  3. Why is most of the rants on this forum about bringing pking back, taking away the trade limit, f2pers whining etc.

Because the people who make the rants like the maker of this thread aren't imaginitive enough to find flaws and think up realistic suggestions about it.

Anyway, it's really simple. The trade limit isn't going to be taken out, no matter how many threads people make or how much they complain about it.

  4. I do take it for granted, especially the size of the window. I don't think I could ever go back to using the little window. I don't think I realise exactly what Jagex has done, making my gaming experience a whole lot better. I think Jagex deserve more credit for HD than they are currently getting. =D>

  5. Revs are really easy to avoid at the wilderness course. If they are at the top you just go down the obstacle pipe and maybe change worlds if you don't want to keep avoiding them. If they are at the bottom just out run them until you get to the top. Even at my low combat level revs didn't bother me to much. They made it quite exciting. On the other hand, I found the wilderness course to be very very boring, so I would stick with Brimhaven, maybe go with a few friends, have races. The agility levels just fly when you have fun.

  6. One of my cousins who has just turned 18 was going out with a 29 year old. It created so much hassle for her. She had to lie to her family, and then he turned out to be a total control freak and he kept trying to kidnap her dog that he had given her in the first 6 months of their two year relationship. It has warned me off relationships with that age difference, while I am still young.

I think in teenage years, because one year you change completely in terms of maturity, two years seems to be the maxiumum, any older and it becomes a bit off.

After you hit about twenty going out with someone older isn't so much a big deal, and when you hit about 25, going out with someone older or younger means nothing because at that age the majority of people are on the same wavelength.

  7.

    Case A:

You slip and completely fall off balance, giving yourself a nice face plant on the concrete floor, amidst a crowd of friends and strangers. What do you do next?

Get up and laugh, saying "ow that hurt, god what am I like"

    Case B:

You get caught staring at a woman's bust/man's region who you know and are confronted with:

"WHY ARE YOU LOOKING THERE?" How do you respond?

"Sorry, it's just you had a bee on you"

    Case C:

You're walking in a cinema, and all of a sudden you try to go around an area and stupidly run into a barricade, and a group of teenagers repeatedly point and laugh at you.

    Same as A

    Case D:

You're kissing a girl. (Assume this is your first time) Even though they have accepted the notion of love, it is very stiff and un-natural. An awkward silence follows. What do you do or say next?

One, I don't think I will be kissing a girl anytime soon, well not that sort of kiss. Two, if I am kissing a boy and it is awkward I would just smile and hold their hand and smile and be very very nervous. Been there, got the t-shirt.

  8. I have already looked around in the forums and to get to level 60 from level 55, it seems that people either prefer the Autumn Garden or Blackjacking. My question is which is faster as in the overall time it will take to complete.

    Thank you for your help.

  9. An old friend of mine was the "it" girl in school. She was amazing at sports, loved shopping. She was highly popular with both boys and girls, and she was also a runescaper and wow player. People who play online games are not nerds because the majority of teenagers do play online games, whether it be on the pc or whether it be on the xbox 360.

I personally don't judge someone on what games they play. It would be quite vain of me to not be friends with someone just because they play a game, especially if I played the same game.

  10. I have never been a big pker so when this new update comes out, I doubt I will use it much. I am still looking forward to it a lot, because I feel that if it is what Jagex promises then it will be a great replacement for the wilderness. I think a lot of players will come back to the game and the players still playing might stop complaining a bit. Well at least until they find something to complain about.

The quest will also shut a few players up about the easiness of the quests. So overall, a bit less complaining seems to be coming up which suits me fine.

The economy will also benefit greatly because all the new pkers that will come out of this will need new equipment and everything else. The economy might sort itself out.

  11. I quit at the end of last year, a real life friend of mine had died and she was the main person I played Runescape with, as in we did practically everything together. I spent a few weeks trying to make new friends, but even with all my friends it wasn't the same so I quit. Then I came back and my old account had been hacked and banned so I started afresh with Rainchaser07 back in December. To make me quit again would be if Runescape started getting in the way of school or friends.

  12. I've always been good in school. The only time I ever got in trouble was when I covered for my friend. We have known each other since we were babies and she was going away with her sister and she had spent months convincing her parents to let her go and it was all sorted, but her parents said that any trouble and she wouldn't be allowed to go. At that time we got our reports and hers wasn't the best it could be so she burnt it and one of the teachers found the burned remains in her hand, but I said that I had burned it and got a detention and she didn't get into any trouble with her parents. Now she owes me, ;)

  13. In my school for compulsory subjects we have English, Maths, Science, Re and basic Pe. I agree with all of them except for Re, I find it to be one of the most boring subjects possible, and I don't think I will use anything I have used in the past five years for anything, but I am still expected to get a grade B because even though I found the subject pointless I still applied myself. You never know what you will need when you are older and if the knowledge is available for you to learn then you might as well do it now rather than later.

  14. If someone is doing something that isn't against the rules but still annoying, and it is just the two of you training, then just do exactly what they are doing back to them. These sort of people tend to get annoyed really easily and will end up just leaving.

  15. I have a lot of shoes, far to many, but I tend to buy shoes to suit my outfits. I think I have about thirty different pairs of shoes and a few of the same shoes. I mostly go for vans, Lonsdale trainers, Nike trainers, high heels, high heel sandals, sandals, flip flops. A lot of shoes. They are all similar colours, black, white, silver, red.

  16. I think that as long as someone can be understood it does not matter whether they have comma's and apostrophes in the right place or spelt a few words wrong. We all make mistakes, and if some one's text can still be understood and the meaning in the text understood then their grammar does not matter in the slightest.

  17. I totally agree with what you are saying, people do only mention the bad points on Runescape and not every update can suit everyone. For example, the old wilderness was not for me, I rarely went in, and if I did go in, it was just for fun. I wasn't a pker. So when they got rid of the wilderness, it didn't affect me, nothing had really changed for me. Then FoG got brought out and I didn't play that for a while but I have recently started to play it and I love it. I also love how if I need to go into the wilderness for anything, I don't have to worry about Pkers, I just have to worry about the monsters lurking in it. Rev's are a nice touch to the wilderness and I prefer the wilderness as it is now.

Obviously, some would totally disagree with me. Pking might of been their thing, but it won't of been the only thing they did and the wilderness has been replaced with other things that are just as good.

  18. A lot of people who complain constantly about Runescape and the changes that Jagex makes seem to forget all too easily what it is they love about Runescape. They forget about the good points, the things that make us like to play Runescape. It's easier for them to find flaws then to find things they like about it. As players we do have a right to rant about what Jagex is doing if we don't agree with it, but you rarely see any positive things about Runescape anymore. There is rarely a rant that says what realistically could be done, what they think the update has improved in Runescape. You just don't see it, because people don't want to express their opinions in that way.

  19. I don't understand what a lot of people are complaining about. I prefer the new bank compared to the old one. It is organised into tabs, I can find things so easily. The only downside is that the bank does move, but to be honest, it doesn't annoy me. If I am taking everything of an item out my bank, and then I put it back in, it takes two seconds to switch it back to where it was. I know Runescapers are time conscious but it really doesn't take that long to put an item where you want it.
