  1. Well it seems you wanted an estimate, so I'll tell you that at my levels if i plan for one kill a trip it takes me 18 minutes a trip. I've soloed 108 kills and that seems to be the average. Hope this helps. Good luck, hope you get a drop. Nothing like seeing that hilt on the ground :)
  2. Thanks for the rates guys. And yeah only 70 kq kills, but to get one from like my, what 40th dusty or so is just crazy. And Sand in the picture was saying 25mil for the visage+tassy that we were talking about from last month. He didn't know I had got the chain yet.
  3. I honestly thought this happened like 1/25000. Ive never even got one in 70+ k queens. This was the first time I was ever even at dustys, since camping is lame normally and I never got as slayer task. Me and Sand just went after a bandos duo to train a bit, and we were just talking about my luck with visage and solo tassy (both posted here last month) and this happened. I was so shocked. He didnt believe me for a minute. You might not either since the chat seems so...coincidental. Anyway, so yeah, rate?
  4. Well I got my first visage, and my first solo gwd drop, just thought I'd share. This is why I KBD all my black dragon tasks. :D
  5. Hi, well I just started soloing the kbd yesterday for slayer tasks, I found its a lot of fun, and I got my first visage off it him last night. \ Anyway, I get 8-12 kills per trip, so I thought I'd let you know my set up. Wear: Slayer Helmet Glory Proselyte hauberk Proselyte cuisse Whip Dragonfire Shield Barrows Gloves Dragon Boots Obsidian cape Ring of Wealth Inventory: 1 Super antipoison 1 Super Set 1 Antifire 6 Prayer pots Teletab The rest pineapple pizzas (11hp per bite is plenty for kbd if you keep protect from melee on. heal more than sharks total, and are cheap) I also bring my war tortoise filled with more pineapple pizza (or terrorbird if im out of tortoise pouches). In addition, I always keep protect from melee on and I use piety constantly, the piety is optional, but I believe protect from melee with prayer gear is still a good bet whether you piety or not. Hoep this helps.
  6. Okay, thanks a lot for the advice guys. I think for now I'll stick with my scimitar, and buy pots and other gear, but maybe if the sara sword gets really cheap I might buy one to try it out. Thanks again.
  7. Here's my dilemma, after I get a couple more attack levels with my whip I want to train my strength up. However, I'm not sure whether it would be more efficient for me to do this with my dragon scimitar and a rune defender, or if I should buy a sara sword for the strength training. Here's how I broke down the numbers: D scimitar plus rune defender gives me 86 slash attack bonus and 71 strength bonus. Sara sword gives me 82 slash attack bonus and 82 strength bonus. In a crude method of determining how much that 11 extra strength bonus will do for me, I plugged in those two weapons into the tip it max hit calculator with my current strength level. According to the calculator my max hits are 21 for the scimitar/defender and 22 for the sara sword. So that shows me there is a minimal difference in max hit abilities, but I'm not sure if the extra attack bonus of the d scimitar/defender will make much of a difference or not either. Basically I'm leaning toward just using my scimitar and defender, but I would like some input on the subject, do you guys think the extra 1 damage is worth it? Or the extra small attack bonus. I also have to keep in mind that the sword is about 70 times the price of the other option.
