  1. alch you could use in junk trades if you wanted, might b better for you
  2. This method works well for me, as it is currently funding my goal of 99 fletching - my first ever 99 All you need is unlimited access to an (atleast) oak lectern (in a POH - play owned house, requires 40 construction to make the lectern ) a staff of air (any will type - battle staff etc), not neccessary, but saves an invent space, and a certain amount of law and fire runes. Note: buy many house tele tabs and any town tele tabs, the town tele tabs, should have access to a nearby bank, i prefer doing this to falador or camelot, up to you. Note: do not buy varrock tablet! you will be making these!! So, firstly try this quantity to see if this money making method works for you. Buy 100 laws and 100 fire runes, and 100 soft clay, fill the first two invent slots with your tele to house and city tabs, the next to with laws and fires, then the last 24 with soft clay. weild a staff of air! If you do not wish to keep hopping back and forth you masy want to bring all your supplies with you so your butler can unnote the soft clay so its an even quicker process! Go to your house and use the lectern to make all of your soft clay into varrock tabs, now tele back to your selected town and repeat the process. With this method I made enough for a robin hood hat, (2mill ish) in 5 hours Sell all the tabs once done on the G.E at lowest price and wait, some times they sell instantly or they take a few minutes. never once have they not sold for me. Note: if you want to make more profit sell directly to players or mid price in ge, this works but takes a reasonably long time. btw if you can tell me how to get pictures into this I would bne very thankfull.
  3. no clue how to put pics in is my first guide :
  4. tch tch Mooch My fletch guide owns ur guide and u nly beat me on comments coz u got ppl in LIGHTNING to comment
  5. Hi Please comment, I'm open to all suggestions and rants and compliments! So, you want 99 fletch, ive almost got it so im gunna help other people get there, aswell as me. Fletching is the use of logs and metal bars to make ranger weapons. You can make bows, crossbows, arrows, darts and crossbow bolts. For the ammo as such, you will need a certain smithing level for each one, as i will explain later. I reccommend having atleast 700k/1m for training level 50 to 85, as if you fletch maple long bows or short, they do not sell in the grand exchange, but you can still sell to general stores or players, if you can find them! The Sections [Introduction] (i hope you read this) [Training Info] [Levels 1 - 20] [Levels 20 - 40] [Levels 40 - 55] [Levels 55 - 70] [Levels 70 - 85] Levels 85 - 99 or [Levels 70 - 99] Ammo Must Know Locations of Resources Skill Cape Training Info This method comprisises of advice and things i have just learnt. At each stage I will say things that i reccommend doing, so you don't get confused or just wondering about something. NOTE: IF FLETCHING BOWS ALWAYS BRING A KNIFE! (duh) YOU DONT WANT TO BE A FAR WAY FROM A BANK AND REALISE YOU HAVE FORGOTTEN YOUR KNIFE, (if fletching where you chop the trees, i.e barbarian assualt) IT IS VERY ANNOYING! I will say also if I reccommend stringing and or alching your products. Levels 1 - 20 For these levels you should make arrow shafts until level 5, normal shortbows from level 5 to 10, then normal longbows from level 10 to 20. You should chop the logs to do this at the Grand Exchange, Barbarian Assualt or by the general store in Lumbridge. I seriously reccommend chopping your own logs for this, because once you have cut the bow, they will not sell on the ge, so this way would make a slight profit. I would reccommend not alching OR stringing you bows, as you would not make a profit, only a reasonably big loss. Unless you get you own resources, do not alch or string the bows. I would reccommend also adding feathers to your arrow shafts, then selling them for lowest on the Grand Exchange. I reccommend doing this at the Barbarian Assualt arena or at the Grand Exchange, both have banks, but the Grand Exchange has a much higher advantage as it is the center for trading in the world of Runescape. Levels 20 - 40 For these levels, make oak shortbows until level 25, then oak longbows until level 35, then willow shortbows until level 40. As I said above, dont string or alch these unless you can collect your own nature runes and bow string. For those super rich people among us, you can waste your money on this if you wish, the magic xp may make it worth it for you. I reccommend chopping the logs for this at the general store behind Lumbridge (oak logs), Draynor Village (willow logs) or Barbarian Assualt (willow logs and oak logs). There are a few oaks at the Barbarian Assualt entrance, so i highly reccommend going here. There is a bank just inside the building which is a deposit booth, so it is an easy place to train (as mentioned above). Levels 40 - 55 For levels 40 to 50 train by making willow longbows then from 50 to 55 make maple shortbows. Do this at the Barbarian Assualt arena for the willows, or Draynor Village. For the maple shortbows chop the maple logs in Seers village, north or south of the bank there, or just simply buy the logs of the Grand Exchange. I think the price for 1K maple logs is 40kish, depending on price changes. As before i do not reccommend alching or stringing your products unless you have the items required Levels 55 - 70 There is only one way to train this. Make maple long bows and, yes you guessed it dont alch or string unless you have the cash to spend or the items needed. As before also, chop the logs for this at Seers bank (north of the bank or south) or buy from the Grand Exchange. These are very good things to use in junk trades, I would know, i bought my first ever whip with alot of these. If you cant get any good junk trades sell to a general store. In the bandits camp in the wilderness, the general store there buys items at the high alch price, but be warned, prices drop there quickly. If you want to level quicker, when you get to level 65 you may wish to make yew short bows, but i do not reccommend it unless you have alot of cash, or can be bothered to chop all the yews. If you do chop the yews, chop them south of Edgeville bank, north of Varrock castle, near to Varrock museum , behind Lumbridge castle and in other places in the world. see the wood cutting guide in the tip.it skill section. Route 1 to 99 [hide=]Levels 70 - 85 Well done, you have almost got 99 fletching, congratulations. Now, from levels 70 - 85 the only way to go is to make yew long bows until 80 then magic shortbows until 85. I do not reccommend making the magic shortbows unless you can chop the magic logs, or can afford to. This is also were I would reccommend now stringing your bows, but still not alching unless you can get the runes. Yew long bows do sell eventually after being strung, and the sell for just under the price you bought all your supplies for. Yew trees as said above grow behind Lumbridge castle, south of Edgeville bank, north of Varrock castle, and near to Varrock museum + in other areas. Magic trees grow at the mage training arena at the duel arena and a bit of a walk away from Seers Village. Levels 85 - 99 The final hurdle! You will be making magic long bows and stringing them, so you will need alot of cash, unless you change your mind and take the other route from 70 - 99. I am not sure about the high alch price, but as soon as i log onto Runescape i will check and write it here. Good luck is all i can say now.[/hide] Route 2 to 99 [hide=]Levels 70 - 99 The final hurdle! You will be making yew long bows and stringing them. I do not reccommend alching these (unless you have the runes) because you will need all the cash you can for this high level training. I sold my whip and all i had for this. Now i have about 200k and all my valued items back  Good luck is all i can say now[/hide] Ammo Here i will tell you how to make the arrows, darts, bolts, throwing knives and cross bows that you can use to train your range levels, while giving you some handy fletching xp! For example, you can smith metal bars (bronze bars all the way up to rune) into 5 throwing knives or, you can smith the metal bar into 15 arrowheads or 10 dart tips (you can only make these after completing the Tourist Trap quest). Use the Smithing tables in the tip.it skills section to see the level needed to make these items. These arrowheads and dart tips can then be added to arrow shafts to make darts and arrows. Check tip.it fletching guide for more info. If you have completed the Zogre Flesh Eater quest you can make brutal arrows. To make cross bow bolts and crossbows, you will need the metal bar of the item you wish make and feathers to finish the bolts and a crossbow stock to make a cross bow (check tip.it fletch guide for tables of metal bar/log needed). After creating cross bow limbs you must add the stock of the log needed, (check tip.it fletch tables), as with bolts, after smithing the unfeathered bolts you must just add feathers. After creating your bolts you may want to add a gem onto them, then you could also enchant them so you can do extra damage, enchanted diamond bolts are brilliant by the way, just chisel a diamond into bolt tips then add them to the finished bolt (must be made of rune) then enchant the bolts. Note: to make blurite items you must finish the Knights Sword Quest. Must Know Locations of Resources For starters, you must know where to get a knife. Either buy one from the Grand Exchange or find one in these places : south of Lumbridge castle, in Lumbridge castle some where, in Seers village, near the bank. Locations of trees (the best locations) Normal tree: any where except very cold (Trollheim etc), very hot (Al Kharid etc) and the wilderness. Oak tree: Draynor bank, out side Castle wars, a few at Barbarian Assualt, and a few west of Catherby Willow tree: Draynor bank, Barbarian Assualt, near Seers bank Maple tree: Seers bank and a few outside Legends Guild Yew tree: south of Edgeville bank, north of Varrock palace, far south east corner of Gnome Stronghold, in the cementry south of Seers bank and south of the bee hives near Catherby Magic tree: Gnome Stronghold, near Range guild, just out of Lletya and outside the Mage Training Arena Skill Cape =D> Congratulations! =D> You have (atlast) got level 99 fletching. You may want to (you will) buy a cape to show of this achievment. Hickton in the fletching shop in Catherby will be more than happy to sell you a cape for 99k. Congratulations.....again
