[Suggestions for building a desktop]

My 2 year 4 month old HP pavilion laptop died last night and the problem is neither the power cord or the battery. So I plan to buy the parts to build a desktop, as to not pay retail markup for a prebuilt computer (and not be forced to buy an OS with it). I don't need something particularily powerful.

 

Video card: needs to be capable of rendering runescape in highest detail and must have good multi-monitor support. I plan to use 3 monitors, unsure of their size, but they'll be the same. HDMI port would be nice.

CPU: The most demand I'll be putting on it is probably playing runescape while running a screen recorder, streaming music, and have some programs running. I don't play any high resource games.

Power supply and case: Doesn't seem like there would be much variation in these, anything I should know?

Keyboard: Something with programmable keys.

 

Any suggestions for purchases? Brands to avoid? Good sites to purchase parts? General advice? I'm tech savvy so don't worry about confusing me.

Also, are there any disatvantages to using an open-source OS? I am planning on running Ubuntu.

Hey I was walking around dwarve mines when I saw this rope and I went down it and it's this big island with mining rocks that last for a lot of ores and alive stone beings (asb's) what does it mean?

I get between 150-160 kills an hour with rune cbow and runite bolts, and my lures aren't great yet. CRapier is the best melee weapon is most situations (including frost dragons), and in the few situations that CLS does beat CR, Cmaul beats CLS. Why anyone would use CLS I don't know.

Anyways, like I said, Jagex needs to make this quest doable single player, with the ability to join BOTH gangs at once. I'm sorry, but Runescape players fails at co-op and I want to do those quests ALONE.

Phoenix is the first option, simple as that.

I couldn't care less about the rewards. But I wish jagex would spend less resources on content that's going to be around for 2 weeks and then disapeer. They should just be like the yoyo where you talk to X npc and recieve the item.

You can indeed get raven eggs from mtk. I got my 2nd one from mtk. Jagex updated it after the mtk glitch where many players recieved full mtk coffers some 3 months ago I think it was. 10 workers on maples and you'll recieve one in due time.

Keep in mind you can reset your ring ONCE for a full refund, so you can upgrade both and reset it once you've achieved your desired dung level. Also primal baxe is only dopped by yk'lagor and you need 89 dung to access him (I'm not sure what your level is).
