  1. The other day i bought a webcam called 'Microsoft LifeCam VX-700' for my laptop as my laptop didnt come with a built in one stupidly, when it should have. But anyway, it doesnt have a disc installation, it's a simple plug into a USB port and it will install itself on that way. It worked for a few days.

But i accidentally plugged it into a different USB port once when i had other things connected to my laptop, and now it wont work because my laptop think the webcam is already in use by the other USB port, and on thing like IM, it comes up blank, and will constantly say i have a webcam when it isnt even plugged in.

Is there any way to solve this without wiping my laptop ? Like taking the webcam back and swapping it for a new one ?

Calvin Harris - Ready For The Weekend

    So addictive \'

I love Calvin Harris tbh. Haven't heard the song you're listening to though. Maybe I'll listen to that next.

My favourite song by him is 'Colours'. Used that for my first RSMV, Worked perfectly.

    It's his new single ::'

Type it in on Youtube or something :D

  3. Okay, what do you guys think of long-distance relationships? There's a girl I really like and she moved to Queensland (and I live in NSW...). We keep in contact, but I'm not sure whether or not a relationship would work. She was a good friend as well, but I believe she liked me. And, there are no guys she likes around her area ;) opening, but I'm not sure what for. I'm nearly 15, by the way.

Long distances only really work if you're old enough to have access to regular and easy transport to go see them.

Personally, at your age, even if you did, i still wouldn't advise it to be honest.

It's not a nice feeling if you're going out with someone and you keep thinking how far away from them you are, and they cant be there for you spontaneously if you really NEED them in certain situations.

  4. You were scared by Blair Witch Project?

Only thing i wanted to do in that film was punch the main women in the face.

It scared me a little bit..only the ending really

I just wanted to kill the guy, think he was called mike, who was just the most annoying idiot in the world >.< lol

  5. The Blair Witch Project

    Zodiac

    The Grudge

Watched all of these in a row with my best friend and our other friend..we watched the grudge at night and then we had to walk our friend home in the dark...i love being scared by films \' scared me stupid...and i love it ::' Horror/thriller films are probably my favourite genre

  6. There should be an option to transfer purchases from your iPod. I believe it's hidden under the iPod icon on iTunes (right-click it). If not, you can always do a direct transfer and move all of your songs from one computer to the next.

i already have transfered purchases, but i havent got songs that people had sent me on my old computer and that i got off a cd that i dont have anymore ect.

  7. Your trying to get songs off your ipod onto your new computer? How I did it, is I just copied all my songs off of my old computer onto a dvd, and put it in my new computer. There are also programs you can find through Google, but most of them will only do like 500 songs as a trial, then you have to buy it, but you can just do a bunch of trials ::'

thanks, i might try this at the weekend. ::'

  8. What age do you peeps think 'love' actually comes in hand, not just the 12 year old kinda stuff?

Personally, i believe it can happen any time once you start going through the whole puberty cycle.

I've been in love, properly, about twice in my life, one of the times is right now with the person im going out with, and i'm only 16.

I hate it when people say " omg i'm in love with them " after like 2 days of going out, because, they clearly don't, it's just your mind tricking you into thinking you are. But i also hate it when people say 'people at the age of 14 - 16 don't know what love is and don't really experience it', because i just find it offensive that people can't believe that i and others cant experience real emotions towards someone, i'm not saying i fall in love with EVERYONE, but i can fall in love. I've experienced first hand what it's like. In some cases it can be good, having a closeness to someone that is a special bond that only you and the other have that infactuates you both together in the first few months, which over time turns into trust and an even deeper love which isn't shown as clearly, but means so much more. When you reach this point, and the right age, you can seriously think about marriage, living together, having children and spending the rest of your lives together. Although, it can have a lot of negatives too, if the person ever goes away for a long period of time you miss them, A LOT, because they are a major part of your life, some people may be afraid to express emotions such as annoyance towards the other, in fear that it might wreck what they have, and if this builds up it can make you fall out of love. It's always healthy to express your feelings, if nescercary, because if you are 'in love' you will work through it and deal with it. Ofcourse, the final disadvantage being that if you do end up breaking up, and you're on the side that is still in love with the other, it can take quite a long time to get over how much your lifestyle will be changing, and the fact that person wont be a major part of your life anymore.

  9. Basically, just what the title says.

I bought a new laptop recently as my old computer was jujst awful, i downloaded iTunes to this computer, and ive managed to get my account onto this laptop, but, the only syncing option it gives me is to wipe my iPod and sync to my current iTunes library, which consists of my purchases.

Should i delete my purchases and then try syncing it again ?

Or is there another way to doing this ?

I found a guide that sounds similar on what i want to do on the apple site, but i'm just wondering whether it is what i want to do lol.

Any help is appreciated. ::' Thanks.

  10. At least do all ghilled up and one shot one kill

This. Awesome missions there! Also I reckon that if you can do One Shot One Kill on Veteran without dying you've pretty much made it in the single player campaign. When I first tried to complete the game on veteran it was a hellish level for me, but when I made my second account and redid it I had some crazyluck and managed to pull it off first time without dying. :D

I can usually get up the final point without dying, but then die like 10 times on the bit where you wait for the helicopter XD. Luckily ive already done it on vet.

  11. having oil poored down your throat and into your lungs and stomach

wasn't that in the latest James Bond film ? Quantom Of Solace ?

It made me cringe when i saw that bit

Nah, he just left the guy in the desert with a can of motor oil. The guy didn't have to drink it, but I suppose he did because there's nothing better to drink during complete dehydration in the desert.

But the guy killed the woman though ? and she was left on the bed covered in motor oil and her lungs were drowned in it too.

  13. I don't read altogether that often, but when i am in the mood, i do enjoy a good book and always finish it after getting addicted to reading it lol.

I enjoyed the Malorie Blackman series starting with 'Noughts and Crosses', those books got me hooked right from the start and i couldnt put the books down until i had finished.

Also the Darren Shan series of books, starting with 'Cirque Du Freak', and then the other series starting with 'Lord Loss', that series was VERY graphic, but i enjoyed/enjoy them.

Also, i enjoyed reading Richard Bransons autobiography when i was on my holiday last year, it was interesting to read how he came to how he is today, he has had quite an amazing life.

  14. My friends mean a surprising amount to me.

My best friend is someone i've known for 10 years, who lives down the road from me, he's 2 years older than me though so he is off to uni soon and so wont have much time to see me anymore, but we'll still see each other, but for the past 10 years weve pretty much always been there for each other and never once fallen out. This is probably because we dont see each other ever single living hour because we are the same age and go to the same lessons at school ect, so we see each other when we want to, which tbh is quite a lot xD, but it's when we want to, not when we're forced to.

I then have about 5 other best friends, and when i say that, i dont think anything less of anyone who i dont class as a 'best friend' it's just that these people have been in my life a little bit longer and have been there for me that little bit more.

My main goal in life is to be happy, and ofcourse my friends help huge amounts with that, and atm i'm very happy, so that's why they mean so much to me lol.

  15. OK, I'm gonna be honest, I never thought I'd use this thread for anything more than giving advice to other people, but hey, here I am. Basically, I'm lovesick. I've been going out with this girl for just under 2 months now, and now the Summer's here I'm seeing her a lot. I kinda chose a bad time to ask her out... during our exams, so we couldn't see each other much.... But now that I can, I am physically sick before seeing her, I can't eat, and if I do... well it doesn't stay down for long. I'm NOT a sickly person, I've missed one day of school in the last 5 years due to sickness, but now just before I see her I suddenly feel sick... and it sucks. And I know it's correlated, because it's only ever the evening/morning before seeing her that this happens, otherwise I'm fine and eating normally. I feel really comfortable around her, and don't actually feel mentally that nervous about seeing her, but apparently my body disagrees. From what I've heard the only thing I can do is just to wait and let it pass, but it's been, as I said, just under 2 months and this still hasn't stopped, is there any advice you guys can offer me?

    I know what you mean

I asked someone out during my exams this year too, and during that time, when i went to see them, as i started walking to near where they were, i used to feel sick and very dry mouthed. But it passed every time once i was with them. A tip is to drink bottled water or something when you get nervous and listen to music or something to take your mind off the nerves until you meet them ::'

Also, i don't really get this feeling at all anymore, i'll just say what everyone else will say, just give it time ::'
