  1. Personally I think along the lines of: 'What ever floats your boat'; Basically meaning, Do what ever you please as long as you are happy youself.

That never works out practically if you follow that.

Yeh, you have to be careful using that phrase.

It's ok to use it in the case of people being homosexual, as they should have the right to be happy about it.

But, it's also like saying, if you want to be a murderer thats fine! because it makes you happy, but the person you're attempting to murder or the families of someone who is murdered wont be very happy at all.

  2. Completed the story on veteran the other day. I've now got about 930/1000G. I still have to do 'Mile High Club' on vet, and no matter how many times i watch walkthroughs and take advice i just cant do it -.- It's so enfuriating.

I've completed the Mile High Club on Vet twice

First Time with 1 Second and in blinking red to find the VIP and the last time with 4 seconds to find the VIP.

Rubbing it in much ? -.-

I nearly did it the other day but ran out of time just before i got to the VIP

  3. I live in England, just woke up about 3/4 of an hour ago, and i heard the TV downstairs and when i overheard that i had to run downstairs to make sure i heard it right. It has really shocked me. My friends and I really appreciate his music and one of my friends even idolised him and his fame. We're all shocked and saddened by the news, i wouldn't say im blubbering, but im still very shocked, i didn't see this coming at all, even with all the news of his illness and stress at the moment, i never thought he would die.

2 legends have died in my lifetime now: James Brown and Michael Jackson

  5. Again, I haven't received an answer from anyone on this point.

If adults choose to engage in a social contract with eachother, and there is no harm that extends outside of said social contract, how is it the business of society/the state to say whether this is right/wrong, illegal/legal?

Are you accidentally posting here instead of the Legalizing Prostitution thread?

No, I am responding to the people who say that homosexuality should be illegal.

I find it so incredibly discriminating that it has to be legalised in areas.

Shows just how insecure humanity is tbh.

You find it wrong that is has been legalized at all? And society is discriminating because of that?

I think it's more like, it's insulting that it was illegal in the first place and only NOW is it being made legal.

Yes maybe i worded that wrong.

I mean that it's discriminating the fact it has to be legalised at all.

Why it's illegal in the first place is just down right discrimination >.<

  6. Pretty much every reason on the main post is why i quit this time last year.

Runescape is majorly losing its' appeal in my opinion.

Every aspect of fun has been taken out of the game.

I don't see GW or WoW putting in crappy trading limits and taking away original and innovative PvP.

If i went into PvP with all my best stuff on and died, yes i would be annoyed and upset ( as much as you can be upset over a virtual game -.- ) but hell, it was my fault, i chose to do that, i didn't go off screaming to my mum to e-mail jagex to make the game fairer.

Also, the game has beem modified and made 'safe' so much it no longer feels like it's a game for over 13s only, its more like 5+ now.

Well done Jagex for screwing it up  -.-

  8. I have to agree with the above post ::'

Also, ever since i got it for my bday on the 8th i've been addicted to the multiplayer  5660 exp already ::'

At the moment there is only one person who has over 100,000 exp, somehow i dont think i'll be reaching that anytime soon unless i play non stop 24/7

  9. It's been released here, but I doubt I'm going to buy it soon. I think I'll wait it out a bit to find out what online and campaign are really like. Campaign is incredibly hard, if the demo is anything to go by. My only complaint from playing the Single- and Multi-player demos are that changing weapons can be a bit of a speed bump.

At least if the campaign is hard it will present a challenge.

The last thing i want is a free roaming game where i can complete the campaign in an afternoon.

Besides, once i got used to the controls on the campaign it wasnt too much of a challenge but it wasn't easy either.

  10. ^Yea i love online, i don't think the game mode atm does it justice and its not just a mass hammer fest as i thought it would be.

Ye i think they balanced that quite well, and the backpacks were a good idea.

I did have one match though where the entire other team just ran round destroying everything instead of capturing the places lol, they failed miserably lol.

  11. Is the demo on Live? I should ch-ch-check it out. I certainly liked the earlier games. Infinite ammo on the railgun was ridiculous. But [bleep] awesome.

Yes it is on LIVE ::' Has been for a while lol

I played the demo. I don't know why this isn't first person like the original 2 but its good.

The mech portion was INCREDIBLY fun, walking through a huge building and juist watching it all collapse around me. It's also fun to walk into a large building halfway through, then get into the building and walk into the area you just walked through.

How epic it will be to be, say, fighting in a building when all of a sudden a vehicle crashes through the wall between you and your opponent, on the 4th or 5th floor. You'll both watch it crash through the rest of the building and out the other side, watching him fall to his death before resuming your fight.

My only problem with this is that I'm not really 100% on it's lasting appeal.

Yes, what you said is incredibly fun :D

Personally i think it will have lasting appeal, as long as the online play is as good and fun as what we've witnessed already is.

    Red Faction: Guerilla

[hide=Source]Red Faction: Guerrilla is a 3rd person, open-world action shooter set on Mars, 50 years after the events of the original Red Faction. Players take the role of an insurgent fighter with the newly re-established Red Faction movement as they battle for liberation from the oppressive Earth Defense Force. Throughout their fight for freedom, players carve their own path, wreaking havoc across the vast, open-world environment of Mars, from the desolate mining outpost of Parker to the gleaming EDF capital city of Eos.

Utilizing improvised weapons, explosives and re-purposed mining equipment and vehicles, Red Faction: Guerrilla allows players to tear through fully destructible environments in an unforgiving Martian landscape swarming with EDF forces, Red Faction resistance fighters, and the downtrodden settlers caught in the cross-fire. Red Faction: Guerrilla also features a robust multiplayer component, including several modes focused on destruction-based gameplay.[/hide]

Personally, i am REALLY looking forward to this game coming out on the 5th of June. I've played the demo many times, and each time it feels like a different experience. The graphics, even from the demo, seem fantastic, and there is nothing more i seem to enjoy more than just carving my way through building and blowing up walls to create new routes for myself. The shooting system is that bad either, there isn't a hideous amount of recoil, and its easy to aim, but not so easy that it makes it boring.

Has anyone else played the demo ?

Do you think it will live up to what is expected of it, or will it fail to impress?

    Give your opinions :D
