  1. I literally just sent my first voyage off guys. Need some help.

Any tips? I wanna get Tetsu asap(aware it takes ages) to catch up in pvm. Havent been on eoc properly since Jan.

Get 90 theiving ASAP.... you'll be missing out on the Convict storylines.... It'll be about 2 months before you can get into pincers and finish all the storylines for a huge trade good rewards.

  2. If you want to lose weight, certainly don't go vegetarian. It means that your reliance on carbs and other foods will go up, your muscle tone will go down. In fact, go the opposite.

    Have a look at paleo.

Paleo is a very good food diet to go with, it essentially means eating food that are not processed.

Going back to our roots and eating food that our ancestors would have eaten, getting a good balance of all the nutrition you need.

  3. Nuts are a good source of protein, just go for unsalted nuts though....

In general vegetables tend to have lower calories per gram than other food sources, so you do tend to get a fuller sized meals.

I'm not a vegetarian so i won't be much help.

  4. If you do die at the QBD, you can get back to your grave quickly. So don't worry too much about losing things, just make sure you have activated port sarim lodestone.

Cheers for clarifying that. This is what I was actually worried about but having checked a few vids etc realised this was the case. Reckon I'll just go for it with melee and see how I get on. Only way you can really learn with these things.

Just beware that certian items like Player-Owned Ports armour and chaotic weapons drops underneath the graves, so when you go to equip your items you may miss that some items are on the floor. Some items like Sixth age circuits disappears on death so you'll have to fetch them again, but this only really applies to untradeable goods.

  5. Currently got my ports set up to hunt plates, but i had an adventurer re-rolls, when i logged in have a duo adventurer mission for laquer, sne thtme off and rerolled my adventurers and i got a double adventurer voyage for chi.... I want plates!!

I have got the statues set up so i have 2 for whaler and 1 for biologist which should give me the best chance for double plate voyage but they seem rare compare to the other 2 trade goods... =(

I'm currently hunting plates so i can keep dying in wildy for moneh!(before they fix it at least..)

  6. In case it hasn't been mentioned here, you can die with Superior Port gear to get gp upon dying. This would be done with a friend obviously to get the money and then give back to you, which of course comes with risks.

The following are the gp that gets dropped upon death for each item:

    Tetsu Helm - 66,337,470

    Tetsu Plate - 123,980,946

    Tetsu Legs - 93,153,130

    Sea Singer's Hood - 25,169,999

    Sea Singer's Robe Top - 31,445,296

    Sea Singer's Robe Bottoms - 26,920,222

    Death Lotus Hood - 23,603,222

    Death Lotus Chestplate - 40,152,523

    Death Lotus Chaps - 32,472,400

If this is not allowed, feel free to remove, just thought I'd mention it here.

I can confirm this, This is for superior armour. Pre-update of the value on death made each trade good worth 100k each. This has been significantly buffed.

I made 115m yesterday by making a superior helm of each combat styles, the tetsu gave 66m, death lotus gave 23m and seasinger gave 25m. Each plate is worth ~1.65m, each laquer is worth ~575k and each chi is worth ~625k.

Some of my firneds made 2 superior tetsu helms and it seem that each time you die with it the value of the helm on death drops by 1m. The first drop gave him 66m, the second time he only got 65m. I cannot verify this myself.

This is a much better way of making money than selling tradeable pop armour, i can see the supply of tradeable pop armour drying up as it's much more profitable to get the extra 10 plates and make the superior version and dying to get the money.

  7. Tetsu legs insta sold in g.e for 20m.

Currently have a 10 laquer mission out atm with 80% success rate, with merchant and FotS, will get me within 3 laquers of completing death lotus, then i'll build totems to lure the chi giving adventurers to complete my final armour....

    Full tetsu - Ticked

    Full death lotus - Nearly

Full Seasinger - a long way off...

got 40 scrolls exactly so far... Halfway through all the scrolls.

Btw to get the maximum building number you have to have all the pincers building built?? You can't build it then revert back to the seafaring one of the previous level? boo!

  8. So we have the following rates, per hour:

    36k dg

    61k craft

    12k wc, mine, fish

Taking woodcutting at 120k/h, mining at 100k/h, fishing at 120k/h (c2), dungeoneering at 300k/h, you get 6, 7, 6 and 7 minutes saved, for a total of ~26 minutes saved per hour. That means 34 minutes to gather 61k crafting xp, which is some 107k xp/h for free.

Overall, not a bad way to skill at all, but mostly for DIY players :).

Where did you get those values from? The original values? did you just do a c2 dung yourself?

  9. I can usually do a medium in 15mins ut sometimes it does take 20mins when my promethium 2h decides to he useful as a rubber chicken. I do take food off the table but it's usually enough to sustain me til the end of the dung with soul split. I'm practising placing my gatestones better so i can one day try and get sub 10min meds...

  10. I don't know if you alched all the items or not, but alching all the drops gives you double the amount of money than selling it to the smuggler...

But you're better off doing faster floors to free up more time to make money to train craft with. I know you stated that this is not for the efficient player or the fastest method.
