  1. TBh, people bossing have always been ferguses (tans will get that), and the only way to get away with ports armour is with friends... or just learn to tank for nex/kk; honestly, its so much easier than attacking anyway....

     

     

     

    Does anyone know how the (bleep) the accuracy shit works against hybrid/tribrid monsters.... Bceuase I really don't know what you'de call some of the gwd bosses, or, for that matter, nex. (especially nex)

  2. Offensively, I like this update a lot. Level 80 weapons should hit 50% of the time against level 80 armor. That makes a lot of sense to me. I think the boosts due to weaknesses and strengths are fair.

     

    I just wish that offensive armor was much weaker defensively. Nex armor should have the same defense as dragon, so that it can't be used by tanks or in most high-level pvm. Defensive armor should also be stronger, so that it's 20 levels higher than the base. Hybrid would be between the two.

     

    I disagree.... the whole point of the update was to make our stats matter more... that we're hitting 50% of the time with 116/99 attack and strength is bloody ridiculous; we're 36 levels above it, and even if you use a bit of bronze, if you swing it hard enough, shit is going down.... Doesn't seem like they've fixed level boosts, just lowered everything.....

The lack of mention of strength having any effect at all for the 'hitchance' thing seems to of confirmed most peoples major concern: They have done a half-assed job and only dealt with accuracy and defence and have not tied max-hit/damage to strength stats better in any way shape or form.

     

    The armor thing I'll hold judgment until we get some stat info, but as expressed in other threads the binary division of x is offence, y is defence has potential to be awful; especially since the way they've worded things it implies there is even potential for things like bandos to usurp port armor for slaying.

     

    Bandos already is better than port armour for slayer, and based on the wording in the article, it will remain better.

     

    Tank gear is not necessary in Runescape. Until Jagex realize that, they will continue to confine high level gear such as ports to cosmetic only, which is sad.

     

    I disagree, to a point; tank gear is only nessecary for a few tiered locations; tanking nex and kalphite queen, which is why the superior version will prove handy(I hope.)

     

    But for ordinary shit, yep, cya ports.

  5. Dwarves for example if the bulk of the quest is tying up the existing plot, but just somewhere along the way, possibly in the finale, it is revealed they were making the army for their lord zamorak it'd sort of be a seed for the Zamorak god story but still neatly tie up the dwarf line.

    That sort of thing could just as easily feel as if it was tacked on for the sake of it, though, especially if it's added in the last quest in the series without any foreshadowing.

     

    I know the return of the gods is suupposed to be their main story arc, but that's not really supposed to mean they have to shoehorn every other quest into it.

     

    But would it really be all that shoe horned?

    We know Red Axe are making an army for someone or something - we do not know what.

    They have a link to red a colour associated with Zamorak.

    Chaos Dwarves have previously been implied to be Zamorakian.

    Chaos is Zamorak's godly ideology.

     

    We know they are followers of zamorak; it was said somewhere in the forgettable tale of a drunken dwarf... I don't remember where.

Just a heads up for everyone; it would appear that the tables have been turned on warband pk; warband fc has been routinely routing them at warbands; If you are using warband pk to loot, only loot if you get there before/as it spawns, and hop as soon as you get loots; I lost 50/75 loots today due to being pked.

    What the guy above me said; but it's a stupid rule, as what happens to the people go get into the fc who are wondering what world to go to? they've only just joined, and it seems stupid that they should be kicked.
