It was a picture of a texture, I made it into a 3D plane.

Well, its kinda like photoshop, but is time-line based. It uses same principle of layers and effects(much like filters in PS), and it could be a pretty resource-hungry program if it is working on a big project.

Made this in After Effects Was going to do it in HD, but it took forever to preview... -.- This is probably the first "successful" graphics Ive done. The flourishes are elements from VideoCopilot. the compression desaturated the colors a bit, it should be a bit darker in a high quality version. http://www.vimeo.com/4339757 I need advice on how I can improve. I had that problem before, it must be one of the Asian character typers, it changes your font everytime it pressed shift+space or something.

I want 2 quick range levels from 68-70 range. I don't care about the money, but will 2k cannonballs at lighthouse dagganoths get me 70 ranged? is it worth it? or is there something else faster?

This is a custom built computer, it was the Core 2 Quad when I built it in, never changed with another CPU. I dont know how the dxdiag got the random name of pentinum/xeon, I just don't want to get ripped off spending 200$ on a pentinum.

The funny thing is, it shows the correct name on my BIOS and Speedfan. Maybe something is wrong with dxdiag?

When I open up My Computer's Properties, the CPU shows up as the Core 2 Quad, which is the correct one I bought for: But when I go to run->dxdiag, it shows up as a different one: Somethings wrong?

I'm not really a computer person, I'm getting a new computer for Christmas, current one is crap. I was wondering what the suitable desktop that I could get (and the parts). I'm using it mainly for pictures & video editing/rendering, and for adobe's programs. My budget is probably around $500-$600. (Not with monitors, keyboard...etc.) Thanks in advance.
