Well it's an incentive to get membership isn't it, insane prices = more members tbh. Yeah, nothing to complain there, I guess. :P It's just a matter of time before someone makes the claim that cheaper membership -> less updates. But if more people have that membership surely Jagex's revenue will be about the same? Well since I currently pay the meagre sum of £38.40 a year, since i never let my membership lapse I have no need to take advantage of this "special offer", however no doubt this is much cheaper for new members or those who allowed their memberships to expire. Personally I think anyone who thinks that this will somehow affect how often Runescape is updated is a cynical idiot.
