  1. LOL at that picture :)

I agree, that random is annoying as hell and absolutely useless. I think that it's fair to keep a few in, but they should at least make them occur less often, and not whilst you're in combat.

I think it will be one of those things that they finally get round to updating and everybody just breathes a sigh of relief. I guess that it's such a small part of the gameplay experience that they don't often think about it, despite the fact that a lot of people get annoyed with it.

we do not infact, have enough already, its extremely easy to fill up ones bank. quit whining, listen to the other posters. you get what you pay for.

I actually find that I barely fill up a quarter of my bank, but then I like to keep it tidy :)

I think that it's fair for there to be another members only skill, but I think it'd be nice if they made a few more f2p quests. Just my opinion though.

  3. I think it's a bit like Attack, you'd think a higher one is better but it's all based on luck.

That sounds about right, but the figures themselves must increase so that basically a higher level makes you more likely to get lucky ;)

  4. I bless graves, answer questions, donate small needed items, and stand up for people being picked on. It's never fun to be called a noob.

Pretty much the same here. I've lost count of the number of raw sharks that I've given away whilst fishing in Catherby due to people needing them for that quest, (you know the one, the one that I can't spell). The only problem is, the other day it backfired on me - somebody was in Catherby asking where the food stalls were so that he could train thieving, and he wouldn't believe me when I said that he needed to go to Ardougne. He ended up being pretty rude to me and so I had to add him to ignore list :(

    Whip

well, i guess thats just how indiana jones does it. and he's pretty much the master of the whip.

Amen to that. Perhaps the graphics developers have been having a chat with Harrison Ford :D

  5. Ohhh, I thought there was only one drag in Zanaris, I must have been misinformed >.< I have actually done recipe for disaster, it's just that it's been so long that I can't remember where to go! I'm sure that it'll say on here somewhere though.

I don't find them particularly hard to kill considering their levels, although that is using ranged. Hopefully there are some range spots in Zanaris, otherwise I'll have to dig out the ol' prayer pots. Still, if Zanaris is any good then I would like to rant at myself for wasting all of my time in Taverly ;)

As for baby black dragons - I'd rather to kill the adult ones, it makes me feel more powerful and raises my self-esteem :P

  6. And seriously, how do you know know the difference between a kebab and a bread roll? Have you been living in a cave your whole life?

I know the difference! You eat one of them when you're really drunk and you don't want to sober up, and you eat the other when you're really drunk and you DO want to sober up :D

  7. I hate her for what she did to me the other day, (although I admit that it was probably more my fault). She was complaining that somebody was ignoring her, and so I was sitting there making all of the appropriate 'owneeeddddd' comments... only it turned out that she was talking to me and I hadn't realized. I felt like such a fool when she hit me over the head and I ended up in the middle of nowhere. I actually didn't know where I was, I had to use the lumbridge home teleport! :(

  8. I think it might have something to do with whether or not you play HD. Whenever I play on my mom's laptop I play in low detail and it reverts all of the settings but fortunately that's always muted. When I'm on my PC I'm always listening to my own music and so I always keep it muted, I've been like that with every game that I've played since I was about twelve, that's probably why I get all nostalgic when I hear music from the SNES and the PS1.

I can see how the music would get annoying if you were doing something like woodcutting or fishing though. If you're staying in the same area and doing the same thing over and over again then it must get pretty repetitive.

  9. I'm beginning to get really irritated with this task, and not because I dislike fighting them but because of how ridiculously hard it is to actually initiate combat with them. I have a pretty poor connection and so I tend to lag a second or two behind most people, but when there are eight people there and only two dragons, it tends to make things a little impossible.

I got steels the other day, and although it was often pretty tricky to find yourself a nice little dragon to fight, (particularly with iron's attacking you all of the time as well), I didn't find it as bad. I don't mind having to hop around a little bit to get a task done, but with these things it's just ridiculous. I spent forty five minutes hopping between worlds last night and didn't manage to kill any. Today it isn't quite as bad because at the moment the worlds are a little emptier, but it's still really irritating.

I remember in the days before the visage that they used to be pretty packed, but again, back then it was worth it because you didn't have to spend as much time world hopping as you do now. I guess I'm just saying that I wish that Jagex would take the increase in dragon hunters in to consideration and put another couple of dragons in somewhere else to dilute it all a little bit. I'd pretty much love getting this task if it wasn't for the irritation that you begin to feel after you've visited more than half of the member worlds and you still haven't quite got a full inventory of hides :(

  10. Secondly, and more controversially, any new drops from slayer monsters should only be obtained if you are on task. Dark Bow was released and players camped at Dark Beasts for days. The rich get richer. Same scenario with Dragon Boots. Dragon Boots are one of the main pulls to do the task, if they were worthless (which if Barrows Boots ever come out they will be) then mages would get skipped like rangers. However if a new item is released and you have to be on task to obtain it this instantly makes the item more valuable and more profitable for the slayer. It also means more people start training slayer.

That's a great idea, and it would also make it easier for people that are there to actually do their slayer task but find it filled with people that are killing them for the drops :)
