  1. Skillcape, Ammy of Nature & Magic Secateurs :)
  2. I got one from lessers when I was about 85 combat. None since, and i'm 113 now. I don't actively search them out though.
  3. I hadn't actually noticed that any had disappeared and so it doesn't particularly bother me. As long as none of the safe spots that I use disappear then I don't care :P I'm selfish like that.
  4. Somebody was telling me that Java is the company that makes Runescape the other day, and they asked somebody whether they were a Java mod. I just kept quiet ^_^
  5. What makes a good friend? Somebody that says more than 'nice' whenever you talk to them and who helps you out and gives you advice on the game, as well as being fun to talk to. How do you view yourself a good friend to others? I'm a terrible friend, but I always try to be polite ;) What would you do for a friend that you met on RS? I'd lend them anything that they need and that I have and don't intend to use, but generally only if they came to my world and place ;) I'd also entertain them with my drunken in-game antics ^_^ What do you think a friend would do for you? I don't have many in-game friends :P
  6. Of course there's pride in pixels - you'll find that with any game! :D I remember being on a high for weeks because me and my friend from school had a competition to see who could complete Final Fantasy VII beating the weapons first, starting from scratch. A few weeks later and I did it and rang up my friend to announce it, only to find that he couldn't come to the phone because he was beating the last boss himself. Nevertheless, I won ^_^ I think there are a fair few emotions in pixels - you can get angry and annoyed because you've died and lost your stuff, sad or happy because of a storyline, excited because of a particularly tense part of the gameplay, etc. You can even get nostalgic if you're anything like me - If I load up a SNES emulator and play Zelda, Illusion of Time or Secret of Mana then as soon as the music kicks in I'm transported straight back to my childhood :o
  7. They asked which one was your favourite, not which one you would buy :P I voted for the flash drive because it's the least garish, but I still wouldn't buy it ^_^
  8. But if you're training in an area where nobody is around or nobody is talking then there isn't much you can do to seem non-botty :o
  9. I use 'haha' and 'lol' when I can't really think of anything else to say, or occasioanally just to spice up a sentence a little. If you think that something is really funny, I'd suggest a rofl or a lmao
  10. They'll get loads of hits from search engine indexers as well
  11. I'm sure the prices will go back up and stabilize eventually. They probably won't be the same as they were before, but at least you shouldn't make *as much* of a loss. Or you could train ranged with them ;)
  12. Rofl. Either you quit some time ago or you haven't slayed in a long time. You can get 2 tasks in a row now. ;) But thanks for being so nice about me :)
  13. Is that its name or its description :o £dit: *Is that its name or its description? :o
  14. Basically that. I always play it on mute because the music and sound effects give me a headache. Some of the areas look really great, but when you're in the abyss and listening to cheesy pop music or fishing in catherby to metal then it's hard to get absorbed in to it all.
  15. I already knew that :) I didn't know that, but I just assumed it ;) I also *kind of very slightly* touched on that when I said it was possible that it was just me remembering the repetitive chains of them and forgetting the individual ones. I was just wondering whether it was possible that I wasn't ^_^ Surely certain randoms must be more likely than others anyway, and so is it such a silly idea that they could be more likely to occur after already happening once in a recent timespan? Somebody is going to quote me and reply 'yes', aren't they?
  16. Perhaps it's because most people only have one username, and a lot of pures are owned by people with a main as well which already has that username. Although I guess they could always just put a '2' on the end  I guess as well though, if you're on f2p and you're a pure then you can't have a skillcape to prove that you're a pure and so you'd get called a n33b all of the time. If you have a name that states that you're a pure, it's a little less likely to happen.
  17. I know that that's the theory, but I mean that's just today. I suppose that if you have the same random several times in a row then it's more likely to stick out in your memory than just an individual one every now and then that you're likely to forget, but it still seems as though a lot of randoms appear in clumps, while other's (like the MoM and the sandwhich lady) really do appear randomly.
  18. I knew I was doing something wrong :o I'd say that it's bad for your health, but in the way that a lot of things that people do to enjoy themselves are. It's no worse than watching television or playing xbox. Slightly healthier than getting drunk or smoking a cigarette, but slightly more unhealthy than going to play a game of football. But I doubt if there are any long-term health effects, if that's what you were asking ;)
  19. (Feel free to move/lock/complain about this thread if you so desire, I'm sure that plenty of these have been made over the years) I've been wondering recently whether there's actually a system in place that actually limits how random certain random features of Runescape are, and whether the last random event that you have affects the possibility of the next one. I'm sure it's not just me that hasn't had a genie for a week or two, and then suddenly gets three or four of them on one day. I know that statistically it should end up happening, but it happens over and over again with different randoms. I was wondering whether anybody else feels as though if you have a random then you're likely to have it again on the same day. It seems to happen a lot with slayer tasks as well - Today, this happened: Has kalphite task. Gets teleport matrix fault random on Ardougne tele. Gets kalphite task from Shilo. Gets teleport matrix fault random on Ardougne tele. Gets black demons task from Shilo. Cancels. Gets kalphite task from Shilo. Gets teleport matrix fault random on Ardougne tele. Gets kalphite task from Shilo. I know that random events are often annoying to have, but to be fair they do usually break the tedium of certain things a little bit. When you keep getting them like that, it begins to add to it. Just wondering if anybody else experiences things like this a lot, and whether anybody thinks that certain randoms are more likely to happen if they've already happened to you once...
  20. I noticed it had changed as well, I'm observant :o I prefer it to the old one, but then I've already forgotten what the old one looked like
  21. I'm not looking forward to any of them, so I just went for Summer's End.
  22. Is it not possible that there was something that people were complaining about at the time and so they released it early to get people talking about that instead of complaining about something else? Sorry if that made no sense, I haven't slept for a while :(
