Spirit of Summer - quest (requirement - on runescape web, to save time and space) Lenght: Medium, Difficulty: depend on combat lvl and how much players doing that quest (if u have to do it allone in wildy, than is probably hard/hardest) Start location : Stand on spot where spirit apears in east ruins / wilderness (north east of baunty hunter, north of graveyard of shadows) Items: Ghostspeak amulet, bucket, rake, seed diber, compost/supercompost, limpwurt seed, hammer, steel nails (min. 4), 2 planks , 5 bones (normal), skull, spirit pouches - wolf, wyrne, scorpion (arround 10 of each, if u fail to save trips) Suggested: games necklace, amulet of glory (closest to bank in edgeville), superantipoison/antipoison potion, superenergy/energy potion or other metod for running energy, runes for falador tele or other place to make pouches, spotted/spotier cape, boots of lightnes, prayer potions, forinthry bracelet (revenants canot teleblock you), ring of life, 1 click teleport (tabs/ectophial), some light arrmour with range/mage defence (if u will run from revenants, not fight them), some food to survive revenant attack. Walktrough: To not repeat all time latter for our world and spirit world, i just use words : real wrld - for normal runescape, realm wrld - for spirit/dream world START 1. Go to the ruins in east wilderness (north east of baunty hunter, north of graveyard of shadows, use games necklace or just walk there) and search for spirit (she appear in one spot than disaper and apear in another). When u find here, run to a spot where she stands and a message to enter realm wrld will apear and choose "yes", after flash light you will be teleported there. There is nobody but you, 4 spirits and the beast (north of farm) there, no other players, no revenants and that is not more wilderness area, so u can use it for escape latter. You will notice that realm is exact copy of real real east ruins. Teleport spells can be used from realm (that is sugested and not to exit out of realm because u cant teleport from real wrld its a wild lvl 20+). **During the all quest I didnt saw 1 revenant near east ruins and on the route to bounty. 2. Try to talk to her and spirit father next to her, but u will see that ghostspeak amulet not work here (thats not true, but it says that). Her father has put some rings arround her, so she could not talk. Speak to father spirit and will see that he try to comunicate with u in emotions. 3. First 8 emotion in emote book are used for comunnicate with him and each time he is satfided with u response, 1 ring will be removed from girl spirit, but if u fail, all ring will be put on her again and you have to start all over again. Do not copy his emote, u must find emote to respond him and when u find right one, write it down (for exp. he "chear"-you "bow", he do "yes"-you do "no" etc.) When u find all emotes (must be 4), the ring will disapear and u can talk to spirit girl. 4. You will not understain almoust a word of what she says at begining because her spirit is weak and she hardly talk. She will ask u to meet her west of this place near to mountain where she could talk to you. FIRST PART - Healing spirit soul 5. Go to west ruins of wilderness, find her and she will teleport u from real to realm world but this time in another farm, just like west ruins are (copy of real west ruins). Be aware here for revenants, because near ruins is they patrol route, so is suggested to put some prayer on (magic prefered or range can do) and hide in ruins walls where revs cant attack you. 6. Speak to her and she will give u a clue what she need, just to wash herself but the barrel next to her is empty. What u have to do is exit realm in real wrld. 7. In real wrld take bucket (spawn there) and use it with barrel just in same spot where was in realm and go back to realm wrld. After a cutscene u have to find her again. 8. This time is west of first meet, near statue. Speak to her again and she will tell you much clearly this time that she need something to eat. Exit from realm again. 9. In real wrld go to same spot like in realm, near statue and u will find there to pick some mushroom (kind off). You got to have 4 empty spaces in inventory to do that. After u picked mushrooms, enter realm again and cutscene will apear with mushrooms on the tree (same like mort myre mushrooms) and she will eat. 10. Find her again and she needs some new chlotes from wardrobe behind her (this time u will understain her much clearly). Exit to real wrld again. 11. In real wrld go to same spot like in realm with hammer, steel nails (4 minimum) and 2 plank. Plank spawn in ruins and some players said that nails and hamer can be found in crates, but you can just brought our own to save time for running arround ruins and avoid revs. Repair wardrobe (use hamer on it with all in inventory) and go back in realm wrld. 12. After a cutscene, she will be near death plant (limpwrot) and she want you to grow flowers again for her, so exit to the real wrld again. 13. In real wrld u will need rake, seed diber, bucket of compost/supercompost (can be done also without it), watering can, limpwurt seed and a plant cure or secateurs just in case to heal plant from diseas. Some of the items can be also found in ruins, but is your choice. Plant limp in hide behind walls in room north west of it (if u dont want to fight revs) and wait to water it again till will full grown up. DONT PICK LIMP AFTER IS GROWN!!! If u do that, u must plant new one. Go then in realm again and her spirit is healed ! She can talk now normaly and u will understain all she says. ** Map would help with all what can be find there and where, so please update this or i will go there to explore all again and take shotpic First part of the quest is done, so u might be rewarded in some farming xp (didnt checked how much and some players said from 5-10k) and some items (i got tooth half of key) SECOND PART - Capturing the beast 14. She will now ask u if to go back where you meet her first time (in realm) and she teleport u there in east ruins again. 15. After a little explanations what happend, she ask u to follow her down trapdoor. 16. Here is portal which is need to be activated to defeat beast. Go out from realm and in real world collect 5 normal bones and one skull (skull can be found in realm just east of farm if u forgot it in real wrld), which is required for portal activation. 17. From real wrld go back to realm down to portal and use bones and skull with it. A disc will apperar in ground floor in north of farm. 18. On first disc u will see picture of wolf, so u will need spirit wolf pouches. Teleport to get pouches (bounty hunter bank is closest) or just go back in real wrld and walk there. 19. Go back to east ruins with spirit wolf pouches to the north wall of farm. First look route of beast (beast always take same route and this is important how to stand and how). Be behind wall till observing, because if u go out u will break his routine and route. 20. After u know which route and road he take, go to the disc after beast pass it and summon wolf. You position must be betwen beast and summoned wolf. Summoned wolf must stand in circle of disc. Wait till beast notice the wolf and approch to u (beast is not interested of u, just for summoned to eat it). When he stop and than start to easely start to go arround you to get summon, dismis summon. If u done right, disc will be activated and hit beast. If u didnt done right, beast will eat our summon or summon will just disapear after dismising with no efect at all. U will get some damage from beast, but just because u stand on his way. Damage taken is lower than 10hp what is very very low for lvl 700+ beast. Repeat all till disc is activated and beast take damage from it. 21. Another disc will apear just north-west of first one , this time with wyrne picture on it, so this time u need spirit wyrne pouches. Tactic is same just like in step before. Do it till beast gets damage from disc. 22. Last disc will apear south-west of second one with scorpion picture on it, so you will need spirit scorpion pouches. This time beast appear from north of it and u need different tactic because this time beast must touch disc to be captured on it. Summon scorpion and this time put the scorpion on disc in middle of u and beast ( since scorpion is small, put it in south part of circle. Wait till beast touch the disc with leg and fast dismis summon. If u will be fast enought and do that in right moment (beast touch disc and didnt eat your summon yet), the beast will be cought by disc and you made it ! 23. All spirits will apear and talk to one of them. They will tell u that what u done is wrong and that u must leave. Spirit girl will apear and she will argue with them about that. After conversation she will tell u that u done right thing, but beast will try to release from disc. She will also tell u to leave and reward you. *** U will be teleported out from realm to real wrld on quest complite, with ring in inventory, so be aware because u dont see at first with what u are sourraunded with in real. (Quest complite with reward will be shown on screen while u are standing in middle of ruins) Reward finishing quest: 1k summoning, 2k farming, 5k prayer, 7.5k construction and a magical ring that give you a closer connection to spiritual existence. 1 Quest point Please post some more info to help others with quest.
