Thanks for the reply randox. Things tend to go more fluently as there are fewer people on the pvp server. As long as the the population of a pvp server doesn't exceed 300 ppl i can manage pk'ing. Nevetheless i'm going to check out the RSOF too.

I don't know wheter or not anyone could supply me with an answer but here goes anyway. During the day i can do anything as smoothly as i want. I never expierence lag ever. But the moment i log onto a pvp server i just lag about 10 - 15 seconds behind my opponent. Even if i turn off all chat and animations and such. It didn't used to be like this untill 2/3 weeks ago. It is really annoying since i like pvp alot but i cost my 1.2mill in gear in 2 weeks. (i'm f2p) doesn't seem like a lot but for a cb 55 f2p it is. If anyone might have a clue whats going on feel free to tell me. It will probably be my connection but then again why hasn't this been happening up till now?

yeah, i'm not going through with it. I just liked the idea of keeping both attack and def at 1 for minimal combat lvl's. For what i'm concerned, this topic can be closed.

I suppose i could get 20 attack, the str bonus for a mith 2h is 31 whichis still 2 points lees than the staff. Thoughts?

Can u elaborate more on that, because i don't really understand. :-s I don't know at what speed the talisman staff hits but it has to be faster then a 2h-sword, right?

I've given this a lot of tought but i'm not sure to go trough with it. Please note this is F2P. It will take a lot of time getting this pure pvp-ready but i think it could be well worth it. The stats i am aiming for would be: 1 ATT 1 DEF 61 STR - which would get me 47 HP 31 PRAY 1 RANGE 1 MAGE This all adds up to a combat lvl of 35. The idea is to use the talisman staff u can buy at The great orb project for 10000 tokens. It has a str bonus of 33. Using the staff with a strength amulet, strength potion and the ultimate strength prayer will give a max hit of 16. This is 2 hits higher then a maxed lvl 35 strength pure. The reason i plan to use prayer is because the talisman staff would take a LOT of time to obtain (hence 50 runcrafting would be the first step to making this pure), therefor protect item is a must, and while i'm at it i might just get 31 prayer. Now i wonder if protect item would actually protect the staff as most valuable item or not. I need help on that. Secondly, if the previous is acknowledged, i wonder if getting 40 range would be worth it to wear green d'hide chaps and vambs for defence. The lvl 45 wore full addy + kite and rune scim. He was fighting an other addy dude somewhere in the 40-ish and they both fell without food in varrock square. then they went to runn to diffrent banks. I chased that 1 guy, hit 15 on him and dead. This was f2p yes I think i had like 30 till 45 mins of drop potential at that time.

Hi all, i pk'ed corrupt dragon dagger in pvp yesterday. I was wondering to sell it immedialty or wait for the price to go up. I looked it up in the grand exchange database and the price has raised a lot the past 30 days. (200k -> 600k) Ur opinion is much appreciated. I tend to wait but i'm afraid prices will drop.

The mechanism doesn't seem to make any sense. Yesterday i killed a guy who was 9 lvl's lower than me, he had no food left. I hit 1 15 on him and he was dead. Drop contained a corrupt dragon dagger, i got a screenie of it. He was lvl 45 i'm 54... Not proud of the kill but still nice to get a corrupt dagger.

U can add me in game. My rs name is Ferveo I'm a str pure cb lvl 54 with 74 str. I transfered from classic too, i used to pk for hours there. The transition has also led to me making some faults. For example, i got 45 att. Anyways i plan on lvl soon and i'dd really like to have a good chat about classic. cheers.

Prayer was a must in classic because u could switch it on the last hit because basicly each fight consisted of rounds with each three hits. Eating during the fight couldn't be done so there was time enough to try stuff out with prayer without it drayning fast. I think u made a small mistake getting prayer this soon. Imo u should get it once ur over 60cb.

crap, didn't think of that. That's probably also the reason these kind of pk'ers don't exist yet. So a rune axe won't work either? :P

Ok i'm talking f2p pvp worlds. I want to make a str pure with 1 def, AND 1att. 1pray i have to look in to, not sure. Since rune pickaxe's have a +29 str bonus they are more powerfull then other wieldable weapons for 1att. U only need 41 mining to wield em as well. So my question is, will this work? I'dd like him to be a low lvl pk'er but i'm worried he will hit nothing but 1's.

that's whats pissing me off. I figured out how to get the shield without raising pray and def by any means but i there is only 1 task i can't do because u need to finish the restless ghost first. It really sucks that being the only thing messing it up.

great, so i tried to get the ring for the cabbage teleport because i fish my own lobs on my pure but it's actually impossible to get it on a 1def/1pray pure....

Ok i'm one task away from completen the medium assignments in the lumb/dray achievement diary. I haven't done all the easy and beginner ones yet because some require prayer and i want to keep my pure at 1 pray. My questions are: How do i obtain the anti-dragonbreathshield from duke horacio and when i complete that task, will i get the ring with the cabbage teleport, even though i didn't finish every task in the easy/beginner section.

I encounter something similar. For some reason it only happens in BH though, not in when i'm in pvp. My mouse hand starts getting really, really cold. It functions like it does normally but sometimes it gets so cold it draws my attention away from the game and i start making mistakes.

it would be really stupid to intentionally keep hp low because the max hit of other pk'ers your lvl will be around 20 (i don't know for p2p though) if they are str pure. So they could so easily KO u if you have low hp.

Ok these are my goals: ATT 45 DEF 1 STR 73 RANGE 70 MAGE 32 (to begin with) PRAY 1 As long as my hp lvl stays below 69 i'll still be under 56 cb. I really hate those 5 att lvl's since they could have been almost 5 more str lvl's.

I just tought of something, is it ok to get 32 mage so i can bounty locate. I switched back to bh'ing because i die to much in pvp and get crap drops altough i bring 25k +. I seem to do alot better in bh, got 7 kills in half an hour, mostly arrows and 3 rune scims. So would the 32 mage thing be ok ? because i always search my target anyway. And if i get it i'll do it without getting hp xp.

ok, thanks for the options. I hate i got those 5 att lvl's i can't even remember why i did it but i don't think i should throw this pure away because of them. Altough ur rite on the disadvantage notes against 40 att pures. I guess i got them so i could fight addy tanks better, which obviously isn't the case at all. Silly me...

Ok currently my pure is: 45 Attack 72 Strenght 1 Defense 62 Hitpoints 53 Combat I really can't seem to get any decent kills lately and i tought i'dd move up my stat to 50 att and 75 str. Would that be a smart thing to do or would i mess up my charc? range is 43 and pray and mage both 1
