I just got another idea, but i'm not sure how to calc losses on it. If i just camp at a mining spot and superheat ores + alch the bars i'dd probably level pretty fast, specially with iron. Anyone think this is worth a try?

then i'll probably split it in superheats and firebolts. I probably can't stand to actually click all those spells, rather than letting it flow on autocast =).

I did some more calcs, and i think since chaos runes are so low lately, i'm gonna go with 75k fire bolts. It will cost me 5M in runes and will probably be the fastest leveling method, hence u can semi-afk it, if u splash.

At current GE - prices it will cost me 6.2M superheating iron ores. Unfortunaly i don't really look forward to casting 48k superheats. But i guess this will probably be one of the most viable options.

I really want to go have some fun on mains in pvp worlds but i'll need 85 mage to teleblock them first. Unfortunalty i am f2p, so i've already assumed this is going to take a while to get. Anyways, i've been doing some research on the forums but didn't find a good way to level yet. I am willing to spend 5M on it. Curses would cost me 4M but i don't think i'll have the patience to cast 88k spells. Also, i'm not a big fan of alching because i won't get to 85 with only 5M. All suggestions are welcome, even combat spells. Personally i was thinking about raiding F12 in dungeoneering untill i hit the skeletal horde as the boss room followed by fail casting the skeletons.

Just you wait untill you get 105 combat... 1 def will get you owned by piety clawers, barrows pures, range/mage tanks. Read the topic title: F2P - PvP'er As for my advice: I'm playing a 1 def str pure (f2p) which i'm starting to build stronger incorporating mage and range. I'm 45 att with 86str and 76hp at cb 66. Currently i'm getting 80 range and 85 mage. Def, IMHO, will ruin your pure if u stay f2p for 3 reasons. 1 - no other 'pure' without def is going to want to fight u because he won't hit your armor 2 - the people who will fight u probably also have def and you'll have a boring fight with nothing but 0's 3 - your KO-power is practicly non existant, meaning a 1 def pure your combat lvl will have a much higher max hit And to conclude i also second Allisgreat his reply. So stick with your 1 def idea and don't get mislead by defnoobs :)

play f2p 50/50 games, then exchange tokens in p2p for pure essence. I think u can get like 200-300k an hour using that method.

thanks for the reply but i'm getting 5 def max for now, i'll just go with the blue chaps and vambs then. Edit: i was more thinking i terms of boots/rings/capes/ammys actually.

Hi people, I've been playing since 2003 untill now on and off on diffrent accounts. Now i've just purchased p2p for the first time on my only character that i still play. Unfortunatly he's a pure and i was wondering what affordable p2p armour for a 1def i can buy. I got 1.5M cash and my combat stats are: 45att (don't ask) 3 def (don't ask) 84str 74hp 50range 60mage 31pray Ty for reading/helping me out.

i think the same as goro, otherwise ppl would go insane on 1 stat and their would be people with maybe even 1 billion xp in cooking for example.

I first got 16 craft through firing and making pots and bowls and stuff, then did holy symbols to 40. Here are some calcs for ur stats. From 22 craft on, u need 632 silvers bars if i'm not mistaken to get to 40 if u make holy symbols. 632 silver bars @ 189 each = 120k 632 unstrung symbols @ 163 each = 103k Believe it or not but i managed to sell all my unstrong symbols. Or u could just keep them as junk. In the long run it'll only "cost" u 17k, so that's not to bad and takes only about 30 - 45 mins of work.

I did the testing. One week of regular pvp ended up costing me 400k. One week of bh made me 600k profit. I'm a lvl 62 f2p str pure. I recommend staying put untill u can kill ur targ in bh. I once killed my targ who was a main and was wearing iron long and some bronze items. Gave me 150k kill and took about 3 hits to kill him. In the end i just suggest u do what u enjoy more. Don't try to use pvp as a money maker, it's to much luck-based.

Ok, no pray it is. I've always been against pray before 99str but sometimes the temptation gets really big.

Ok so here's my pure, he's combat lvl 58 and is maxed atm. I know the 45att is a big fail, but it's a long story. So i was wondering if it would be ok to get 31 pray now. It would put me at 62 combat and i would hit 23's on scim and 27 with r2h, according to the tipit calculator. I originally planned to get 31pray once i hit 91str but the training just takes so much time (i'm 100% f2p). Range and mage are too low, but i'm getting them up as we speak. Toughts, opinions, rate, hate. All welcome.
