  1. You should only train skills in f2p if they aren't more effectively trained in p2p. So, like woodcutting to 30, combat stats to 40 (not being able to access rock crabs or something doesn't really matter), fishing to 40, stuff like that.

but what if the training your doing in p2p is available to nonmembers? I trained fishing with a fly fishing rod in barbarian village and dropped fish to train my last few levels. I could have been doing that as a free to play.

  2. I would be happy to have 12 extra spots, for a grand total of 40 spots (nice even number) because just think of all the rcing i could get done....i could finally get my goal of 99 rc!!!

and for all the arguments of summoning gives you more inventory spaces, not alot of people like to get summoning up because of the extra combat levels, i'm only getting mine up for the pets, i hardly understand the skill.

training and using summoning is extensive and a pain. i agree.

  3. I would think my account is worth ~$35,000. I've chosen my approximate wage (for my future career) and estimated my hours spent on here, and it's come to around $35,000.

Whatever your approximate wage for your future career is, unless your future career is training other peoples runescape accounts, then your idea is just plain wrong. Different jobs pay different salaries. waiters are paid a very different salary than a plumber for example. People do not get paid the same amount even if they work the same hours. Otherwise why go to college or school at all? If I could work at macdonalds and be paid the same wage as if i was a doctor, then macdonalds it is! No one is going to pay anything close to your future careers wage for playing an online video game.

If you do find a job as a runescape trainer that pays that much let me know though.

  4. I wanna make sweet sweet love to my account. I have spent 7 years playing 15 hours a day. Did I mention that I'm in love with my account? Its so priceless. You cannot put a price on this. I have sacrificed grades, college, family, and friends to have this account like this, therefore it is priceless.

you should read this post any time you feel like quitting... And if you do quit, this will sure make you feel dumb and bad lol.

  5. never really thought about it 135m cash isnt easy to get

soo a thousand ish? idk haha

I wouldn't have agreed with this before the new real world trading enforcements. before if you were going to purchase an account you could buy millions of gp for much cheaper than what your asking. But now that may be a fairly accurate quantity. But I'm no expert ::'

  6. This just makes having a great username like mine all the more meaningful. I come could come up with new good usernames whenever I try. Just to make sure for this post I went and registered the names: ghostbustor, zozm, and faerie fart. Theres still usernames out there you just have 2 look!

P.S. The recommend a username portion of the site has gotten so much better! It used to be incredibly bad with just a list of your username with untaken numbers afterwards.

P.S.S. Try putting numbers in front of the name instead of after it. I only incredibly rarely see those and i'm sure theres millions of great ones out their.

  7. Lots of people would pay over 300 dollars for an account.

Think of it this way, assuming 10 dollars an hour, you can make 300 dollars in 30 hours. or about a month more or less depending on how much you work.

The average account gets hundreds of hours of work put into it. So when you think mathematically, you are better off working 30 hours, buying a good account than making the account yourself, this is not taking into account how much you may like training, or weather its against the rules.

Hence why there actually is a demand for illegal real world trading market. However there is no true feeling of accomplishment in that and it can never quite feel like 'your account'.

true. I can understand why people would buy runescape money though. I have often felt that urge as making the money needed to purchase the things that are now on my buy list such as bandos and godswords and other expensive items is incredibly tedious. Buying someone else's account though would seem wrong. That feeling saved me from many a scam when I refused to transfer all of my items to a better account deemed for a recovery hack. I've never actually bought any as it seemed like I would actually rather have the money when it came down 2 it.

  8. My account is well.... priceless and not for the same reasons you have all said. i just quit playing less than a week ago because the thrill of the game left me. i played for hours and hours to get to goals i had set for myself and after it all i just had a cool new sword and alot of cash lol. i would say that it was priceless because the fun and anger i experienced at lvl 10 was so much fun now that i look back on it. the grief that you felt when you died from a bear and lost half your 10k net worth or your friend talking you into following him and getting killed from the tree at dranor house. if i gave my account to someone they couldn't have that experience that i feel every player should have. i mean ya my first dragon drop was cool and my first visage drop or my ags are all good memory's but its the early ones i look back on with such a warm glow in my heart. all in all i did enjoy my time and i hope that others enjoy it also. scape on

ps when you all do chose to quit throw a big drop party and watch the noobs run to it. when you drop 36m cash in fally it lights up like the 4th. totally worth it

how thoughtful! I too enjoy those first memories most when looking back. being a noob was so much fun! I remember when my bro got stuck in the varrock sewers and me and my friend had to rescue him from the giant spiders lol. I also remember my brother complaining to my parents during a trip to the beach about how I wouldn't give him one of the seven steel meds I had found on the ground... Money was so much more fun obtaining and having back then. Now making money takes days and days and you can get millions of gp!, but when your trying to purchase things like a gs or bandos or whatever 10m plus item you got your heart set on the game becomes boring and meaningless. You'll be happy when you achieve your goals but they become increasing more difficult and farther apart than when your goal was to grow to lvl 10 fishing.

  9. uh 1b+ gp and a phat set ::'

Other than that i'd hate to lose my account due to the time to get 124 combat; my favorite level; I put into it. With the kinda money I stated above I could just be a skiller and buy the skills I can to 99 :P

another richy. mind sharing that information we me. also what's so good about 124 combat?

  10. although i could realy use the money, i dont think id ever sell my account. if someone came to me with 10 millon usd i would consider it but probably say no :? ive worked way to long and hard and had way to much fun to ever consider losing it.

lol a years worth of playing games isn't worth 10 million usd for you?

most accounts bought aren't worth alot, even someone with maxed out stats wouldn't fetch over $300 honestly. because there is too big a risk, even if the recovs are canceled, they can still use cc info and past recovs to regain control of that account. it's mostly the gp that makes an account worth something.

tbh no and your right (although who the hell would pay $300 dollars for an acc??!!?!?)

actually i sold like 4bil then my account for almost $10k usd altogether like 16 months ago when i chose to quit. most was like 20m here and 50m there, you'd be surprised how many people are willing to spend their paychecks on game currency. then sold account for like $500, it got banned afterwards

Who did you kill to ever make that much money? (P.S. If you have some really really good moneymaking scheme I think my brain is big enough to handle it ;) Seriously though, I would really like to know.)

well if you where gonna quit yea but not otherwise

well i'm thinking about quiting.... ;) Can you tell me now?

  11. With the new quest difficulty sorter, devious minds is listed as an experienced quest. Which implies that the difficulty of the quest on tip.it should be greater than the current "easy" status.

    Huge Brain

I'm not sure whether Tip.it's Quest difficulty ratings are directly based off of Jagex's, since Jagex has five levels of difficulty (Beginner/Novice/Experience/Master/Grandmaster), while Tip.it has three (Easy/Medium/Hard).

Technically you're right, but to be honest with you, Devious Mind was almost as easy as Cook's Assistant. You talk to the Monk, run around a bit, make an item, talk to another Monk, run around a bit, and talk to Sir Tiffy. Took me about 5-10 minutes :|.

But it's not my call :P.

it is an easy quest It's just the smithing requirement.... i have 258 quest points now and i hate it.

  13. I went to Vannaka as my slayer master for my 20th assignment in a row and when i completed the assignment I received 20 points. i was not expecting it and i guess it was a waste.... but anyhow this information should definitely be included in the slayer guide. if it happens again say for my 30th task i'll post that as well. I'd post a screenshot but i'm not too clear on how and if it would be of any use anyway.

  14. I would sell my account for no less than 48369.892762897 kg of pure gold.

    Thats a ton of gold!

It would be impossible to get that much on runescape though as even a trillion gold pieces weighs nothing. ;)

I think he meant real life gold. -.- :wall:  ;) lolz.

I know just making an observation. ;)

  15. In the slayer guide there should be a topic about the phoenix from the quest in pyre need. It should give information similar to the hunt for surak or bork heading. Talking about it giving 5k slayer the first time and additional 500 slayer experience for every kill afterwards. repeatable every day. include items needed such as secators tinderbox etc... more information information in the in pyre need quest guide.
