I am working on a range tank right now, but im not sure exactly where to go from here. i have planned out max stats, but are there good places to stop in between now and then? how am i so far? any advice as to efficient training? what gear/techniques are best for pking for range tanks? username: taxi_2_he11 current stats--------final stats attack 71---------------75 strength 70-------------74 defense 75-------------99 range 94---------------99 magic 90---------------94 hp 85-------------------99 prayer 44-------------44/52 combat 91----------103/104 please leave any/all coments you have, thanks =)

ankous, ok. since they have more hp it should be faster than zombies. do they have any good drops and are there effective safespots?

i wold like help on the best way to train magic from 76 (my current level) to 82, and past that. The trick is though that it has to be cost efficient damage spells; so either cheap spells or more expensive ones with good drops. So far i have been using crumble undead in mage guild basement with ring of wealth which allows me to make back a good bit of the rune cost by tele-grabbing herbs and gems; but that is only like 40k xp per hour, is there a better way? I have 73hp, 4def, and 44 pray if that helps. Please give me any and all info you can: location, monster, spell, costs, xp per hour, and suggested inventory. thanks a bunch :)

i guess those goals are ok, certainly not great but your hp calculation is off. there isnt a chance that with those stats you will have 59 hp, im pretty sure that it would actually be about 49, not 49+10. good luck pking. you might also consider matching your range level with magic for mage def and teleports, will give hp points depending on your training methods and wont raise your combat level.

thanks for the help, i'll definitely keep it in mind. at the initiate and rune pure stages would i be ranging in that armor or what? and what kind of gear when up to the barrows and 80+ def stages? i've seen lots of vids with d bow pkers and they seem very successful so why would i want that?

these are my current stats, but im curious about range tanking. atk-46 str-55 def-2 pray-43 range-75 magic-70 hp-66 combat-58 goal is to have: atk-75 str-74 def-2 pray-52 range-99 magic-99 hp-99(max) combat-79 are void pure, 42 def, and tanking 90+ def worth the levels and will they be more profitable and successful? the same stats above with 99 def will put me at 104 combat, but i dont know about equipment or strategy. im also curious as to whether this type of pker can compete with the lvl 100+ guys running around with ags and d'haroks. thanks for any help/advice.
