  1. A couple friends of mine that all have Divines are saying that within the next month they're gonna be a lot easier to pick up and purchase, based on the current prices... Since for the life of me I don't know how the hell to follow this market, does that seem accurate? Or are they way off in their calculations?

Maybe, since soloing the corp is now easy and inexpensive as balls.

    No.

    Corp solo apparantly is easy.

Also according to RS Wikia, Kinglys do drop Onyx's (or at least it said they did when I checked a couple of days ago).

Your signature made me rofl irl.

Anyone think santas will ever crash back to the price they were a year ago?

  2. I really don't see where you'd see all that hate for rapier- i've used it alot and most have understood the rapiers supeiorness. There are still some who care to disagree in pvp, but after they see a fight, it's more than settled. People eat to more than 70 vs rapier, about the same as they would against a godsword....

Maybe you're point is valid in terms of deep wildy pvp where its good for using you're opponents food because they can't really run to safety. But In normal fights rapier just doesn't have the KOing ability like the CLS and CM. You wan't them to die, not keep eating and run/tele because they're nearly out of food.

    L2pk.

Whip is superior to all gs in pvp except ags (because of the spec tbh).

Your statement about the k0ing ability is bs because people would eat higher on weapons that hit higher. Duh.

Chaotic rapier has pro combos which easily make up for the less str than the cls.

    cr

    cls

Couldnt really find a good cls vid

all the nubs who suck at pvp use it apparently >_>

  3. At least this will get people to waste a great deal of money. Counter-inflation.

Congratz! You have failed basic economics! Your prize is one facepalm from me.

Yeah, all this does is allow the money to change hands, since none is being taken out.

False, millions invested in runes will be needed to win, and with hundreds of people each investing in runes, you will see some counter inflation.

But those runes are being used and not resold, they are being taken out of the game so they can't change hands again.

The GP stays in the game though, for it to be counter-inflationary, the GP would have to leave the game.

They should make a construction war then.

The first to wreck his bank wins!

  4. Multiquoted like 10 posts so I decided to delete them. Suck it up. Kickable offence? I actually "rofld" at that.

As for 99.9% of teenagers being emo, that's not even close to true. The guy who said something about "scene" was very correct, except even 15% is way too large a number. Like 5% of teenagers in North America are emo or scene these times.

The kickable offense was a joke, sadly. Though I have enjoyed the random people today coming in screaming "Dung" and then exiting. Makes for a good chuckle.

    So does your rant.

  6. More proof Jamflex needs their Gp's

When you try to log into a world as a f2p you get a message saying buy membs

    Lol now you're just trolling!

Nah I remember bringing up that Jamflex didn't perm ban bots anymore because they needed their gp's.

There are a lot of recent events that validate that statement.

  7. Jagex had the dung coming to them, it's their fault, let them eat it. Should have thought twice before coming up with such a prepostrous name for a minigame. I'd have prefered ''sacred-clay-minigame-like skill''.

"Stealing creation pvm version with xp slapped on by Jamflex" would have been better.

  8. See people, this is why I don't post on these forums anymore.

I'm going to go ahead and stereotype you people as bullies who are willing to a pick a fight. All doing this while sleeping in your mom's basement playing Runescape for 5-10 hours a day with little to no sleep.

I have found better communities out there and I'm not even going to bother to list them for you wannabe losers. TC, I understand your frustrations and I agree that a lot of Hunter bots are ruining the experience for everyone else.

You people make me sick. Grow up, get a life, and try to understand where Rants like these are coming from. I'm not even going to bother wasting time for you idiots to flame back as I see this quite often in the Tip It Forums.

Also, everyone is definitely overestimating magic. It's effective in regular games because your average participant doesn't care much about dying or getting kills, he's doing CW for the fun. This weekend, I anticipate that the majority of people playing in CW worlds will have different interests in mind, and therefore will not stand around mindlessly to be blood barraged. Magic is effective for not dying, but you really can't KO anything that cares with just magic unless that anything is out of food.

I love how wrong you are

    L2 Overload/arcanestream/sol/chaoticstaff

Chaotic staff = 50+ with barrage ftw?

SOL is like 48 max or something

    Obviously you are underestimating magic.

I actually agree with Bobthesock. There will be tons of mages in maxed gear, but there's also going to be tons of people who just want to piss those mages off. No mage can withstand a barrage of dragon arrows and seercull shots, of which there will be a LOT of. I know I'm going to be doing that.

I heard people will prepare for that

Seercull is fail when you can restore pot or have on tank mage gear.

Dbows... When you manage to get multiple people to spec at the same time maybe. But if not the mage will just heal the damage.

The reward WILL go to a mage. No other combat type has the potential for large amounts of kills like magic.

Magic has the potential, but only if you get a clan of sheep to stand around and let you barrage them. Let's say our mage will be hitting 50s max. That means 25s average, and 13s when you take into account the fact that everyone in the area will be praying against magic. that is assuming that every attack hits, which it will not because most people will also bring magic defense. omg the power is overwhelming.

my point is that the current strategy of finding a huge crowd and barraging it ad infinitum isn't going to work. the people who get hundreds of kills currently just camp at the flags and barrage the massive crowds gathered there to try and kill them, which is obviously not going to happen this weekend because everyone will be going for kills, and therefore will not bother with tank mages who are decidedly the hardest thing ever to kill. the magic strategy requires intensely concentrated crowds, whereas this will probably be a massive, spread out brawl.

Lol people protecting magic has never affected my magic that much in cws.

And you can gather tons of people into a barrage pile if you ice barrage the doorway then switch to blood/mismic.

  10. No Evileye, the system detects people doing the same thing for days straight and gets them. How do you know someone stayed on for 17 days unless you were there with them or were them?

I've seen a progress report. Paint on a bot client never lies, as there is no way you can fake it. Trust me this was legit, this guy is very well known among botters.

I'd call that a one-off fluke. The risk of getting banned rises exponentially the longer you bot, but never quite hits 100%. This example cannot by applied to the whole. Plus, what are the details? Was it a low-risk area like fight caves? How advanced was the bot for the time/How long were the auto-logout breaks set to? Those are big factors.

Most people don't break as commonly said on botting forums.

I am trying to figure out what the heck is going on at Jagex. Is it me or has there been a serious surge in their attempt to draw in more memebers through badly thought out updates to RS? I remember when I joined it was by word of mouth. It was the basics of the game that drew me in and kept me returning. I have to admit that the last couple of years have really made that more difficult. I get some notion of some sense of urgency, maybe even desperation that Jagex is feeling. The strong push for "community" and "group" activities has been a new and serious theme as of late, why? Just as a note...they still have not fixed the solo log out issue with dung. I know and most people that have been out in the workforce know that Jagex is only worried about that bottom line...please stop your slide of hand in-game marketing and let the game sell itself like it used to.

I will avoid cws purposely and just from the experience I had when it was updated, all it was, was a slaughter house from the newly added and updated weaponry and may not go again. Oh yeah, just another spot for magers to rule. Please come up with a new idea.

    :)

  13. Bleah. Stupid.

    my thoughts exactly.

Lets take a capture the flag minigame and make a competition about who can get the most kill in it! Everyone will love it!

Does anyone belive me now when I said Jagex sucks at making updates?
