While it is true that F2P never got this much updates before, it is also true that I regret them all! Yes, you can make money off the G.E., but you must have large amounts of money to profit a large amount. True, you can make money off steel bars, but 55k an hour? Compared to about 1 mill every time I played on my old main, that's nothing. I didn't even play more than once or twice a week then and I was still able to afford pretty much anything I wanted. The age of the trade merchanter is over because of trade limits. Btw, the people coming and saying to stop complaining, don't even bother. This section is for complaining and ranting on about things, thus the title "RANTS".

My defense is 50. What would be the best way to raise it?
-
Thanks for the advice. My main problem is that I go to a PVP world to merchant weapons and armour at the G.E. and do it for so long that I forget I'm in a PVP world and walk of the little grand exchange concrete thing and get owned by mage pures. I think I'm going to become a tank so I have time to run back to a safe zone before I get killed.

I lost ... money when I was hacked (creative beggars)
LoonOfDoom replied to ShadowTwisted's topic in Rants
I lost 1.63 mill in a pvp world while taunting pures (showing them my money in a safe zone then telling them to watch while I step into a space where I can be owned then when they run towards me I go to the safe zone again.) when I underestimated a lvl forty something and got owned faster than I though was possible by a ranged pure. (to bad I didn't have any runes on me or he would've been owned faster than a noob could say '5k pl0x') I didn't go out and beg, I went out and started using the skills I raised. The only thing that made my happy was knowing that because of Jagex's PVP system that ranger didn't even get half of the cash, he probably got a magic ammy, bones, some mith armor, a iron axe, a bunch of noob food, and various other random objects. Oh yeah, that guide on how to use your ignore list and be happy as a result is AWESOME! =D> -

The days when you could be pitied and given a awesome gift or give money to someone in need. I miss being able to drop trade from account to account, and being able to take others stuff when they do it. It seemed so hard to make money then but now after times have changed I realize that I could've mad it rich then. Now we have things like trade limits and the party room (really just a way to drop trade without breaking rules. Only difference is, you have to go through the hassle of popping hundreds of ballons while racing against a bunch of noobs looking to feed of your cash flow.) and PVP worlds. Now when you kill a player you don't even get all of their stuff. You could lose 1 mill in items and cash in pvp worlds several times and all the 'winner' gets of it is a bit of cash, some amulets, noob food and mith armor. How the heck is that equal to the 1.63 mill you just lost or the Zammy armour and Rune weps you hoped to get from the one you just pked? With trade limits it seems that Jagex was trying to help people to get a fair price for their stuff but it just makes it harder to earn large amounts of cash. You used to gain some cash some times and lose some at others, but now everything's 'fair'. On top of that, Jagex shovels new updates and quests, items , skills and methods of making money into P2P worlds while F2P'ers are left with scraps, false hopes, and that eternal feeling of being sub-par. They could at least give us they same items as the P2P'ers but it wouldn't make that much of a difference because half of the F2P people wouldn't be able to afford them. Heck! We wouldn't even be able to store them in our banks! Pshh 68 items? Compared to 400???? What? That is really injustice. It may have been time for a change, but the change that came wasn't for the better. Please do not post entirely in one any color other than the default as it is hard to read on some skins. You can highlight certain things in color to emphasize something. Thanks! ~ Shaz

Something Inbetween dragon and rune f2p
LoonOfDoom replied to Jenove's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
Jagex tried to give f2p something like this: corrupt dragon. Need I say any more? Weapons that vanish in thirty minutes and often cost more than their member counterparts? Sign me up! (Take note of the sarcasm) They need to give f2p players some new stuff already. (or at least something that doesn't vanish as quickly) :wall: -
Jagex still doing maintenance, but cool GE graphs.
LoonOfDoom replied to Pinkbullet3's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
LOADS of the graphs are messed up. I was checking them to try to get an idea of what to merchant and I didn't notice the graphs were screwed up 'til after the fact. Point is: half my money down the drain. -
I think it would be great, and I'm sure several others agree, if there was a bank and a range on Karamja for F2P, or at least one of those. Probably won't happen, buuuut it doesn't hurt to try. :

Can someone give me advice on making 1 mill?
LoonOfDoom replied to LoonOfDoom's topic in Help and Advice
Supernova309-thanks for the advice but I can't get into the crafting guild or fish lobbies. I guess I could buy then merchant the lobs but I just lost all my money in pvp. (look at my crafting and fishing) Much thanks Dorcus1. At first I was al little unsure of mining 10k iron, but after I mined 500 in a few minutes I realized it can be done rather quickly. I've been mining at the place southwest of Varrock. Is that the best place to mine iron? It seems to be closest to a bank and it has 3 rocks, but I'd like to earn the money as quickly as I can. -
Thanks gun_hippy! Btw Sandaharu, I've tried switching my attack style.
-
Today I lost 1.63 million in a pvp world when I forgot I was in one and went off into varrock with it. This has happened to me at least five times and I wanted some advice on how to make my account better at defending itself. How can I make my account into a better pker? What is the best way to raise my strength, and overall, my combat level? My combat is 63, my attack 50, my strength 55, and my defence is 50. Pleaze help me!
-
I've noticed that some people have a different 2h stance than me (sword being held in one hand parallel to ground) and have tried to make my character use that stance but I just can't. Any advice?
-
All of my levels are above 30 except crafting, rune crafting, and range. How would I go about changing them manually using paint?
-
My signature lists several of my stats as '1' because they are not on high scores (i think thats why) can someone tell me how to change them?
