I like the Bandos/torso setup myself (dont really plan on getting the bcp instead just getting the tassets). So what im thinking so far is either Torso/Dragon legs or Torso/Tassets. Just gonna kinda wait until i see what some other responces give me.

This will be a slayer setup. At the moment i have 16m and im hopeing at 99 def ill be somewhere between 20-25m if not more to get a fairly good setup.

I've noticed a lot of high lvl players with 99 defence choose the Toktz-Ket-Xil(obsidian shield) over the dragon sq shield. Is this purely because the toktz-ket-xil is cheaper or am i missed some hidden factor between the two?

im not sure if they have better drops or not but i do know however they are less crowded than green dragons even though they will take slightly longer to kill(lvl 111 vs lvl 78?)

only way to get the healing special of guthans is to use the spear and seeing as how your fighting green dragons and you need the ADF shield ( also notice u dont have 85 herblore) that isnt possible. You can try Blue dragons in taverly dungeon OR the dungeon from the watchtower quest that consists of ogre shamans, greater demons, lesser demons, and blue dragons.

OK well im almost 99 def and i can tell i wont be using barrows near as much as i currently am. However, i do plan on changing my setup and i was wondering which of the following would be the best setup in the long run? cool thats great to know, at first when i started on my goal of 99 def i was going to stop slaying at 95 and start power training at az's until 99. Thats when i realized im making alot of money doing slayer and i want to hopefully have enough money in the end to get my bandos plate or possible some money to get a higher skills like 85 herblore or 95 prayer(super anti-fires and or turmoil/soul split.

so Zaaps is it safe to say using that ration i should be between 84-85 slayer at 99 def?

i just renewed my members today and i got all 30 days...idk why u only got 28.

tbh with the way rune prices are at the moment its going to be very hard to get from 72 to 85 magic with only 10m. Only thing i can think of would be to do Superglass once u have the lvl if u already have the lunar spellbook unlocked.

cool so from 95-99 def i should gain 2 slayer lvls thx squid now ill just do the math on the attack xp and see how many lvl i wll get from that(im hopeing ill be around 83-84 when i hit 90 att) EDIT: redid the math and now it looks like ill be around 84!! thats even better than 81 that means by the time i hit 99 def and 90 attack i should be around 86 slayer =)

hmm yea im really confused on this lol...anyone mind helping me out and trying to figure the numbers so i can compare them to my own?

that doesnt really do me much good though tbh...i know that its 4 xp Def/Att/Str per 1.33 hp xp but i need to know what the slayer xp per cb xp is.

Does anyone know what the formula for calcing how much slayer xp i will get from 95-99 def so i will know around what lvl i will be when i hit 99?(i will also use this to calc the xp i will get from 86-90 att)

I have the EE already so thats no problem and the fartherest i made it so far before dieing(without the correct setup) was to the wave with the 360

Finished LoS just a little bit ago and im going to be heading down to the dungeon soon to finish up my slayer task, thx for the advice guys :P

K i might have to do it then, the main reason i was thinking about that is because i want to cannon them and also the slayer tower is ALWAYS packed with people and the only time i can seem to find it empty is really early in the mornings on the weekdays. How long does the quest take in general to finish?

I've been getting alot of bloodveld tasks and while i dont care much for quests anymore i was wondering if doing the legacy of seergaze quest to be able to access the mutated bloodvelds?

Ok well ive been wanting to get my firecape even though im getting 99 def soon. I need a good setup for getting it( i have guthans as well if that is any help at all) my stats are in my signature and this is my first time doing he fight caves so i will probably watch some videos on how to beat jad.

Im working on 99 def through slayer at the moment(currently 95) and im collecting all my charms from that. I dont do it 100% of the time because i take breaks every other hour so that i dont get burned out of training all the time.

I almost have the charms for 79 summoning and i really want to start using titans but i was wondering if its worth it to burn the money on summoning now or just save up until i have the charms for 88 then go straight for the uni?

if your not going to give him some legit advice dont bother posting. OT: MY perfered Setup is Torag Plate to Dharoks legs or Guthans Plate and Verac Skirt. Guthans, is pointless for slayer because you get tasks like Abby Specs(Nose peg) Dust Devils(Face Mask) Banshees(Earmuffs) and Cave Hands(Spiney Helm) that doesnt allow you to use the Guthans Helm For the full effect to heal without getting pwned. Dharoks, is only usefull on those tasks or training spots that only require you to use 1 type of protection prayer as opposed to things like Aquanites(Mage+Range)Waterfiends(Mage+range)Daggnoths(Range+Melee)and Abby Specs(Magic+Melee+Nosepeg). Torags, the special on this set is a failure and the only useful peices to the set is the Plate and Legs because of their high defence. Veracs, is only useful for Sara GWD and KQ, the pray bonus is nice but can easily be outdone by prossy/Initiate armor and it also has one of the weakest defences of all the melee barrows sets. Ahrims, is only good for maging tasks/training spots because of its HIGH mage attack bonus. Karils, The only good peices to this set is the Leathertop and Leatherskirt which is highly valued for the high mage defence it offers and the low negative attack bonus'.

Fury is the better choice, veracs is really only good for KQ / Sara GWD and places where you dont need a high defence. The pray bonus on verac is nice but is very easily outdone by Prossy so if you can use prossy verac is pointless unless u just plan on going to GWD and KQ alot.
