OK, the meanings taken away when black people say it, but they get pissed when white people say it?
How do you not understand? They're both black and they're calling themselves a term that white people used to (and still do) use to try to hurt them. Of course if a white person called a black person a [racist term] it'd be offensive.

Nope, he signed with Florida Panthers. And Weekes is pretty weak, but can get better. Plus he looks sick as a black goalie with a mask (no racism intended at all).

I'm not interested in Mechscape at all. I just don't like the whole sci-fi theme. But I think it's great Jagex is using what they have learned from Runescape and expanding.

Be more careful. I understand it was probably lag, and your idea is exactly what would be needed to solve the problem of people alching the wrong things. But, I don't think there's enough need for it to implemented.

Ehh.. to the above post I don't see how one can "have a hero name"..? :? It makes no sense. If that person has earned the right to be a "hero" or be someone looks up to, their name will follow suit. Zezima as a level 3 would have been the same as anyone else. It's just he worked and worked to get what he achieved and his name followed.
I personally don't have anyone that I'd look up to, as Smellysocks said they've done nothing spectacular. It'd seem that quite a few posts on this thread are about their friends.
I think he means that someone who's name sounds like a name. Something without random lettters, full of number, or a D at the end. Like SmellySocks isn't exactly a hero's type of name. Nor would be D U X, Brunokiller, baller_playa. You know what I mean?
Quite the contrary. Dux, or dux bellorum, describes the legend of King Arthur in his earlier forms. I think that's a hero. Dux bellorum also means war leader, which could be a hero. ;)

Doing randoms asap without failure didn't help me from being banned. Although jagex accepted the appeal after 20 days (it was a 21 day ban).
Fletching steel bolts for a few hours then doing something else (hand pain and boredom) didn't help either.

It does not take away the meaning. Hundreds of years of slavery doesn't just disappear when the slaves start using derogatory terms once used against themselves. The point is to use the word [racist term] so it gets worn out, and so white people can't use it to hurt them. Also, in a lot of cases, black people do not care if their white friends use the word. The problem usually arises when a stranger says it, when it's used in bad context, etc.
