  1. I don't want to sound like "that guy" when I tell you that getting involved with a girl who sounds like she is a hard-core drug user is not a good idea in the first place (since I know you are fine with it). But, hear me out on this one. Why would you begin to trust someone who isn't even in their right mind half of the time? Better yet, why would you want to be with someone who is doing their body a lot of harm through habitual drug abuse? If you are just in it for the sex, I sort of understand. Outside of that, I just find it slightly foolish that you'd really want to invest time and effort into a train wreck like that. Certainly I can't be the only one who has this opinion... right?

  2. Section 3 was found unconstitutional (although I'm not sure off hand on what grounds or if it would be a binding precedent), which leaves this as the meaningful/active portion of the text:

No State, territory, or possession of the United States, or Indian tribe, shall be required to give effect to any public act, record, or judicial proceeding of any other State, territory, possession, or tribe respecting a relationship between persons of the same sex that is treated as a marriage under the laws of such other State, territory, possession, or tribe, or a right or claim arising from such relationship.

In effect, couples states where same-sex marriage is not legally recognized cannot be compelled to recognize same-sex marriage from states which do recognize it. I don't see how this would change federal benefits eligibility or express a will of the legislature separate from that of the people.

It doesn't change any federal benefits. What I am saying is that they don't want to extend the federal benefits to homosexual couples, which I said in a earlier post, limits economic freedom. And as far as a "a will legislature separate from that of the people", recent polls suggest 50% of the US population think that homosexual should be allowed to marry. As for the other 50% that do not, allowing same sex marriage doesn't hurt anything but their sense of morality.

And the feeling of morality is unimportant...?

  3. Aaaand the meeting went not so well... Turns out them Americans were all younger than I was, some by quite a bit and so no one was allowed to do anythng alone. They had a massive amount of parents along supervising and so we couldn't really do anything... They were also late by quite a bit, so we had way too little time to just chat. Like 10 mins maybe.

BUT, I got to talk with who I think was the hottest chick around. And before we left I got hugs from like 5 Americans. Which was weird, cause only my mate and me got hugs. That should be good, right? And apparently I made myself noticed to everyone, including some parents. And we still have some time tomorrow, I hope.

Did you honestly think that you'd score some from 15 year old girls?
