RuneScape Information

  1. Not too late am I? A newbie to the forums here and thought this might be fun \ . Forum Name: Birdmaster Picture Name: Birdmaster Picture: http://img72.imageshack.us/img72/2273/birdmasterlp9.png There seems to be a small outline due to anti-aliasing, that doesn't really matter though does it?
  2. In my opinion, The fact that people rant about them being overpowered, means that they are doing their job  However not to be completely ignorant of the other sides of the story, yes revs do seem overpowered in F2P and could be toned down a bit, however in P2P their laughably weak  Another problem is their drops, not worth it... but if the revs at the moment had much better drops they'd be overpowered, however Jagex could make it something like revs become ALOT stronger if you decide to attack one or something... Also am I the only one not forgetting the other side of revs Jagex forgot to put in? The prey? Do remember, you can still get pked while hunting green dragons, but you can't hunt someone killing green dragons (excluding PvP worlds of course) I wouldn't mind seeing something like a 'lost soul' which is the complete opposite of a Rev, weak, cowardly, and unaggressive, but with good drops. Of course there would be consequences such as being 'skulled' and the fact that these guys have tricks up their sleeves for getting away, including freezing, short span teleporting (because I believe it's impossible for NPC's to run), energy draining, health recovery, using wildy teleporters, leading you into dangerous areas and even logging out if their out of combat for a certain time limit. Ah well just one of my ideas I felt unloading
  3. Ah skillcapes, 5 year if playing, level 125 combat and I still don't have one : I do have a quest cape but, blah that doesn't really count, and I won't try arguing that it does or it does not. My view on skillcapes is that they were designed for showing people that you were dedicated enough to a skill to achieve the feet of 99 in that level, however as much as most of us know, that with skillcapes nowadays it shows that you were dedicated enough to that skill in order to get the cape. So yeah, we have people dedicated to getting that skillcape they desire instead of that 99, and many are getting those skillcapes for all the wrong reasons. I personally think skillcapes were not a bad idea, however of course there's those people who only want the honour of such achievements for the purpose of showing off, and the skillcapes were perfect for those peoples. Which makes me think, going for my first (real) skillcape at the moment, the attack cape (95/99 so far) but I need to think what reason am I getting it for? :? (also on a very important side note here, when you see someone with a skillcape on that you wish to complement them on, do you say nice 99 or nice cape?)
