Hello alcoolj, Firstly the difference between the specs are 7strength and and 2hit points. With 2ranged levels lost. As i spent a considerable amount of time trying to explain to you, the strength levels become obsolete in a P2P situation due to the fact that Gmaul hits the same with 83str as a R2H with 90str and also the gmaul can spec. The only choice is if you value 2ranged levels and the ability to spec with gmaul over 2hitpoints levels. ( not a very hard choice at all ) And i looked into 31prayer, you will only lose out on 1extra max hit then without it, but you stand to gain 6hit points and 6ranged levels wich are far too valuable then 1extra max hit with a R2h. It's a good idea to go with the 90str 87ranged 40attack 1prayer option and level attack to 50 once 99strength. Hope this helped clear your concerns, Imitate X

Hello alcoolj, Firstly your desired goal of 84strength 91ranged. This would bring your hit points to 84, and therefore being level65 with 3 hitpoints/strength levels to gain. Didn't know if you realised but thats a really crappy stat goal and you wouldnt be maxed at 65. You have two options; either gain an extra 2 strength levels and hits level and be maxed with 86/91 at level 65, or drop one ranged level, automatically dropping one hits level ending up maxed with 84/90 at level 64. Going with the latter you would also be able to gain an extra 10atack levels bringing your attack to 50 without any change in combat at all. In my opinion? Go for 50attack, 1defence, 83strength and 89ranged, brining hitpoints to 82 and maxed at level 63. Compared to the 64stats you only lose one of each stat but drop a whole combat level. You will also hit exactly the same with 83/89 as 84/90 so it's more logical to drop a whole combat doing the same damage. Not to mention the gmaul in p2p, hitting 29s x3? and 40s with xbow? yes please! Also about your prayer concerns, i've done some figures and you will hit one extra hit with 31prayer then without it. But you gain 6hits levels and 6ranged levels, well worth the extra damage point in mele lost. Edit; I wanted to give you an 40attack option. You have to realise that with 40attack options, you have to be strength heavy rather then ranged. But this would be the best r2h/ranged stats possible with 40attack at level 63. 40attack, 1defense, 90strength, 85hit points, 87ranged. Compared to the 50attack, you lose the gmaul and 2ranged levels but gain two hits and 7strength. For f2p pking you will be hitting 2 more damage points with mele but losing 1 damage point with ranged. Whereas the 50attack option you will be hitting the same with gmaul at 83strength as a r2h with 90strength, but also have the extra ranged levels and the ability to special with gmaul. So it's really upto you how you want to spec. Again to recap, you have two options: F2P ONLY. 40attack 1defence 90strength 85hit points 87ranged or, P2P/F2P ( better in p2p, worse in f2p ) 50attack 1defence 83strength 82hit points 89ranged. I still think the 50attack option is the best as you hit the same with gmaul tas r2h even with the missing 7strength levels and thats not even including the fact you can special. Also an extra damage point with range. But from a f2p ONLY standpoint, the 40attack option is the best. Facts to consider; r2h with 90strength is 27s max. r2h with 83strength is 25 max. Gmaul with 83strength is 29s max ( and option to x3 ) Conclusion; on P2P 50attack is by far superior, on F2P 40attack is far superior. But p2p you have a lot more fun, get more kills and do a lot more damage, on f2p every fight is the same. Hope this answered some of your questions, good luck, Imitate X

Hello feddycruger, To answer your first question about prayer. Prayer is one of the most misunderstood and deciving stats for a pure character. It looks great on paper, but in reality are you actually making yourself stronger or weaker? Let's find out shall we? Let's take for example your desired goal of 81strength at lvl 62. (I've actually changed this to 82strength because you are not maxed with your desired stats, you would also be 77hit points) With R2h, strength amulet and strength potion you will be maxing: Without Prayer; 24s With Prayer; 27s Initally you would be thinking, great! I can potentially be hitting 3 more damage points. Prayer rules! But what will you be really losing? Firstly, Without 31prayer, you would automatically drop 3 combat levels. To even it back up to level 62 you would gain 7strength levels and bring your total strength to 89. Well do the 7 strength levels work out better then 31prayer? let's see. With R2h, Strength amulet and strength potion you will be maxing: 26s Now as you can see that's only 1 less damage point then 31prayer. What do you gain? 6ranged levels, 7strength levels, and 7hit points, +2 more damage to ranged. What do you lose? The ability to protect your r2h and 1 extra max hit with mele In my opinion? Having no prayer is a lot better then prayer at 40attack. As you get higher attack and stronger weapons with specials, the prayer dramatically increases your damage. But as a r2h pure, prayer is a lot worse. Since the majority of your time should be spent ranging/rooting and only pulling out your r2h to KO with. The increase of 7 hitpoints and 6 ranged levels are far to valuable then only ONE extra point in mele combat. The stats without prayer would look something like this. level62. 40attack 1defense 89strength 83hit points 86ranged 85magic(lvling with alching) I also have two questions, Are you 2defence? or are you planning to get 2defence? if so why? And why have you not maxed your desired stats right out at lvl62? p.s your hp would be 77 not 76 with your calculations. Maby typo? My advice? Start a new pure with 1prayer. Level 61str or so is only 270k exp, and can easily be caught upto in a few days. Once you get higher, it will be very difficult to start again.
