  1. Yeah, but those are all predetermined. I want to pick parts that I'll actually need. Bakemonogatari ED It just links to Newegg.
  2. I'll probably do that then. I thought Linux could do everything Windows could do. If I really can't do as much, I guess I'll stick with Windows. I'm watching the video and it's very helpful. I'm having trouble with what parts to actually pick. There are so many things on Newegg alone and it's kind of overwhelming. As far as I can tell, the only way they're organized is best seller, etc. Is there a flowchart or something similar out there for picking the individual parts?
  3. What Halo said
  4. Searchin' for computer parts. Woo. Anyone with experience wanna help?
  5. Pokemon I don't get it.
  6. I was never bullied in school. I think I was a perfect target for other kids to pick on. I wonder why they left me alone. Shower time
  7. 4chan is always shit. FTFY Seriously, I rarely hear anything good about 4chan, even from the people who go there. There are a few good threads every now and then on most boards. Some boards are better than others. but yeah, for the most part it's a bunch of angsty 14 year old's secret base.
  8. A wisp of nostalgia in the air... You used to speak Japanese and forgot...?
  9. The first few episodes are kind of confusing. Stick with it. It'll start making more sense during/after the snail part.
  10. Then nobody posted again
  11. I was [bleep]ing amazing at badminton my sophomore year. I'm not exaggerating when I say I was probably one of the top 2 or 3 in my entire class. I suddenly started sucking when I got to senior year.
  12. I'm terrible at archery.
  13. You're going to a school for robots? The whole correlation/causation thing still comes into play anyway
  14. Then nobody posted
  15. It's just a general honors program? Not like specifically for politics or something? That's stupid, then. Keeping up on the arts has a very, very small correlation, if any with intelligence and knowledge.
  16. I keep thinking Google is Goonstalf.
  17. The only thing is that I don't keep up with any of those. What exactly are you applying for?
  18. I was studying Japanese for a while, but then I realized there was no point and I gave up.
  19. I've tried cleaning things before. It's not an activity I find enjoyable.
  20. What do you guys do when you're bored? I'm willing to try pretty much anything at this point.
  21. Omegle/Chatroulette's only even remotely fun if you're a girl.
  22. It's 3:21 PM. I refuse to say good morning to Dax. I will say good afternoon, however.
  23. I suck at artsy stuff and I don't feel like watching girl cartoons right now. I'd cry myself to sleep, but I'm not even remotely tired. I don't know what to do.
  24. I want to build a desktop computer. I'm not really sure where to start. I have about $1,100 I'm willing to put into it, but I'd obviously like to save as much as possible. I'll mostly be using it for gaming and CAD. I haven't done much research. I know a lot of you are very knowledgeable, so if you could help me pick parts, I'd really appreciate it. I have an infopic from /g/ from about 3/4 of a year ago, but as far as I know, that's outdated already. Any and all advice will be very helpful. I have an infopic from /g/ from about 3/4 of a year ago, but as far as I know, that's outdated already. What I do know is I want at least a 1 - 1.5 TB hard drive (that's the thing that does long-term storage, right?) and I'd like some sort of Linux OS. I've used Windows my whole life, but I think this will be a good learning experience for me. I don't really know anything about Linux, so general tips there would be helpful too. Will I be able to transfer the contents of my laptop to my desktop? I'm not knowledgeable about any of this, so any advice/recommendations will be really helpful to me.
