  1. I get that all the time: "omg stop trieing 2 luk smart u st00pid nerd (Irony there), dnt use lng werds ll, i ken us dem 2 u ignorance peepol. l2tlk internetzzz." Or something of the sort. It's actually really hard to make an example up :wall: .

  2. By your combat level, I would expect that the 50-250k needed in supplies for the Fight Caves wouldn't be a problem. Don't know what you're complaning about there...

I suppose knowing that you've wasted time can be frustrating, but chances are, you would not have gotten it on your first try, thus wasting even more supplies. Not saying that you couldn't have done; Just that you could look at this from a different perspective.

I guess you should just do what sadukar said, and try it again when you have the time to do it all in one go.

  3. Hey Noble Aloof ::'

Get your mage as high as your range (90), and use Veng. <- Ownage.

Don't use Monkfish, use Curry minimum. Sharks or anything better is always preferable.

Try to not let your special bar go to waste (ie, use a special attack of some form).

Take advantage of your higher defense. This may not be a good thing as they will run when they see that they cannot hit you, but I don't think your defence so high that it will be a problem.

That's all I can think of for now.

  4. 99 Range, Mage, HP, Defence, Prayerm and Summoning would be the perfect tank stats. Realistically however, you should get your range/mage as high as you can, minimum 70 def, minimum 44 prayer. Any other defence or prayer levels are preference.

    A good goal would be: 99 Range/ 99 Mage/ 75-85, maybe 99 Defence/ 52, 60, or 70 Prayer.

  5.

OT: I hate it that when I log in on a PvP world, I am not immune for the first 10 seconds, just so I can see what's going on. Today I logged on in a PvP world, at the Agility Wilderniss course, and before I even got a chance to click the 'Click here to play' button, I was already being Blitzed, DDS specced etc. -.-

I like how the "Click Here to Play" Screen doesn't even appear when you log into a Bounty Hunter or PVP world.

  6. the rune mace in f2p pvp or bh...i'm not joking people take you as a joke then you start hitting constant mid-low 20s it's a crush weapon so it's useful on plates and relatively accurate i've had many succesful ko's using mace + 2h and the +3? pray bonus is handy

Same with Void + Adamant Crossbow. Went to PVP today; people were literally lining up to kill me.

It satisfying to watch the "lul niec addy cbow noob", then *38 KO*. They don't seem to get that Diamond (e) hits just as hard with an adamant crossbow when compared to a rune one.

  7. Because your 130 IQ doesn't seem adequate enough to answer some simple questions, I will repost them. Don't avoid them because you can't answer them. As I said before, swallow your pride, and admit you're wrong.

    1. Explain why a PKer doesn't deserve to kill you if you stand in the wild without half-decent gear.

    2. Explain why you deserve to be catered to.

    3. Explain why PKers should not PK the way they want, as opposed to the way you "PK".

    4. Explain how the retribution trick is a win-win method. As I pointed out before, the PKer must waste 25k coins, or 25k worth of items, for a noob to get loot they don't deserve.

    5. Explain why someone who does not know how or want to PK deserves the rewards a PKer gets. It's like saying level 40s deserve hilt drops from GWD.

    6. Explain why noobs don't deserve to be killed if they are inexperienced.

    7. Explain how you could possibly believe people are at BH to "help" complete strangers get loot.

    8. Explain to me that you actually know what PKing is, and why it is done.

    9. Lastly, explain what you are doing on a BH world. You say it is so you can watch fights. Why are you risking the 75k needed to get a target then? Obviously, you are only there to waste a PKer's time, being the kind and unselfish person you are.

I expect explicit, and thorough counter-arguments and answers to each and every point. Shouldn't be too hard, seeing as you're "right". Use that 130 IQ. Let's see it. Don't reply to point 2 with "well den y do u tink u shud get kayterred 2????" or to point 6 with "lul de olny n00b hear iz u". They have no relevance with the main point I was trying to prove. Try to counter the arguments, not the person behind them. You seem to have trouble doing that. "lul u de 1 who kalld me st00pid lul". K.

Just thought you might be interested: I'm one of those 14 year olds with 60 IQ. You should have zero difficulty countering my arguments, seeing as you're right. 130 IQ doesn't hurt either.

Off Topic: I liked how you responded to Omali's post (Page 3, Post 16). How about a relevant response the next timea around?

[hide=De_Lille_D]You could always just say that you won't reply to this because you've done your last round of replies. That's fine with me. It's just as good as saying "Sorry for the time I wasted; I admit I'm wrong. I hope you forgive my bloated pride. Cheers." <- If I'm right, your oversized ego will bring you back, guns blazing. That's fine. I love debates; Especially the ones where I'm right. <- 2x the flame!

    OR!!!...

You could ignore my post completely. I'll still take it as a "Man, this little 14 year old with his pathetic 60 IQ is too good for me." <- 3X!@@@

Or, you just weren't thinking straight at the time of this rant's making. Hm.

Most likely however, you will post an irrelevant, incomplete reply with some insults scattered throughout. That's expected. Just read my post(s) over again sometime. And use that 130 IQ. pl0x man. pl0x.[/hide]

  8. 1. It's what you get for not knowing how to PK. Get some half-decent gear. Explain why someone should not be allowed to kill you if you are in a BH world with [...] gear.

    2. If you don't want to PK, then don't stand in the wild. Problem solved. You won't WASTE someone's time by getting them as a target. Explain why you are in the wild if all you're doing is watching live fights. After all, you aren't PKing. Explain why you think wasting someone else's time is perfectly fine, while them not catering to a pathetic whiner like you isn't.

    3. It's easy, fast, but not safe. And it DEFINITELY does NOT make everyone happy. Why should I waste 26k on some wannabe who can't PK? Why should he get a chance at loot he doesn't deserve? Not to mention, the scammers these days. If you met a lvl 40 at GWD who asked to join your cc to leech the kills, would you do it? NO! He doesn't deserve it, and you barely know him. Re-Read it. Think it through. If it's perfectly fine, then sometime, we're going to GWD together. I won't help, I'll just be in your CS cc. It's a Win-Win, right? I mean, it doesn't matter that you don't know me. It doesn't matter that I don't deserve to leech off of a higher level at GWD. PM me with a time. I'm serious.

    4. The PKer wins. Noob loses. Boohoo. You think that both of the players waste their time. In reality, the PKer is getting free drop potential while he waits you out. You, on the other hand, think you're in control. In your mind, you think you "win" because he isn't able to attack you. If you took a step into the wild to get extra DP, you'd get ripped apart. If you stand there, he gets 10 minutes of drop potential. Only one losing is the noob here.

Using LOGIC, which you seem to keep emphasizing, then the best options would be:

    1. Noob logs out, or stays out of wild.

    2. Noob chooses to fight, and ultimately dies.

    3. In the case that your Target is real pker like yourself, you fight. Best PKer wins.

Explain how these are illogical. They're the opposite of your totally logical points, so I want some reasoning. You probably won't be able to. No matter how hard I try, for example, there's no way to prove that x^2+y^2=1. It's not possible. You cannot win an argument if you're wrong. I hope you know that.

The tricks seem great and all if you're the noob. Look at it from a PKer's perspective. PKers are there to win. They don't give in to wannabes.

I sincerely hope you don't reply. Sometimes, you have to swallow your pride, and downsize that ego, and admit you're wrong. If you're not willing however, I won't let you down. I'll be right here.

  9.

If you don't want to PK, then don't stand in the wild

I go to Bounty Worlds for other reasons than fighting... I can still do what I want, where I want it.

Why should I waste 26k on some wannabe who can't PK?

I never said we had to bring 26 k ... Also, don't insult me because you can't come up with decent arguments; you don't know me.

If you met a lvl 40 at GWD who asked to join your cc to leech the kills, would you do it? NO! He doesn't deserve it, and you barely know him.

Now imagine the only way to go to GWD is by having a lvl 40 in your cc and if you do, you'll get guaranteed loot, would you do it? Win-win situation.

the PKer is getting free drop potential while he waits you out.

Ha, you think I stand outside of wildy? I'm either staying in lvl 1 near Edgy river, so if he tries to attack, I can run; or I just tele to Bounty Volcano and wait there. I'm getting drop potential too ...

Noob logs out, or stays out of wild

Some people say noob is about levels; other say it's about attitude... Either way, you're the noob here!

    1. I go to Bounty Worlds to PK; Not to cater to noobs.

    2. I wasn't insulting you. I was asking you a legit question which you seem to be avoiding.

    3. Sadly, that's not the case. I don't NEED a lvl 40 for loot; In fact, lvl 40's don't even guaruntee loot. Reality: I solo a hilt. Instead of getting my ~25m, I get 12.5m. The noob gets 12.5m. To you, that's a WIN-WIN. I'm sorry to break it to you, but I lost 12.5m I would have potentially had. I didn't gain.

    4. In this case, I'm using noob to refer to an inexperienced PKer, seeing as we're talking about BH. It's not too hard to see that you can't PK.

Another thing I'd like to point out is the fact that you seem to be avoiding my reasoning. As such, I will repost it. Hopefully, you'll give me a real answer.

  10. The point with the IQ has nothing to do with your story, I'm afraid.

You are forgeting that average RS pure pker has at very least 6h/day they are willing to waste by wasting food, potions (sometimes even a few mil worth items) and chasing others around in pvp worlds. Oh and they are convinced that makes them get a huge profit (total bs imho).

So unless you can spend at very least 12h/day pking, you will always end feeling you lost alot time and also lost a fortune in gp.

How does your post even pertain to the topic on hand? And why would you make such a pathetic generalization? "o well liek pk'rs pley liek 6 pluss hour a dey u no"

  11.

There are 4 possible ways this could go:

    1) I die, my traget doesn't : I don't get loot, but he does

    2) I don't die, but my target does : I get loot, but he doesn't

    3) We both die: We both get loot

    4) Neither of us dies: No on gets loot and we've just wasted time

1: I'm not a charity; why can't I have loot if my target is getting it? ---> unacceptable

2: Against my principles of not doing to others what I wouldn't like having done to me ---> unacceptable

    3: I's easy, it's fast, it's safe and everyone's happy --> PERFECT

4: A result of shear stupidity and a total lack of empathy from my target. --> incomprehensible

Now look at this and tell me my targets aren't complete idiots...

    1. It's what you get for not knowing how to PK. Get some half-decent gear.

    2. If you don't want to PK, then don't stand in the wild. Problem solved. You won't WASTE someone's time by getting them as a target.

The tricks seem great and all if you're the noob. Look at it from a PKer's perspective. PKers are there to win. They don't give in to wannabes.

  12. The problem here is that you don't understand *why* people PK. If they wanted to keep everyone happy, they wouldn't be there. PKing is about taking your opponent's items for your own profit.

If you don't WANT to PK, don't know HOW to PK, or WHY people PK, then you don't deserve to get the rewards PKers recieve from PKing. Do 1 def pures deserve to wear barrows? No. Do level 40 mains deserve a hilt split from GWD? No.

The "Retribution Method" doesn't give double the normal loot. All it is a *real* Pker wasting (I repeat: WASTING. Understand?) 26k for some inexperienced noob to get a chance at loot.

What's sad here is not that a PKer is refusing to help out an inexperienced PKer; it's the fact that noobs think they can just go onto a BH world and waste a Pker's time.

I've gotten so many noobs as a BH target who think they can just tell me to log off, or do the 26k trick with me. Of course I won't do it. There is no reason why I should. Noobs who don't build their account for PKing should just stay out of a BH world. They aren't getting any free kills with me.

By the way, you aren't wasting both of your time if you stay out. The *real* Pker (emphasis on the REAL) is in the wild, getting drop potential. You're just standing on the sidelines, with some weird idea in your head that you're in control. THAT is sad.

  13. Looks good, but that last one is way overpowered. 60 damage? Honestly, everybody would safe in pking, out of worry that their oppement has 99 magic. and what about multi combat zones? imagine, two people casting that on you at once? you would literally have no chance, and what about npcs? A clan of people just casting it in gwd? Other then that, everythings good, though.

You mean the same thing that can be done with an AGS? Except twice from each player?

This is magic we're talking here. Consider a lunar mage:

Before battle he casts Vengeance on himself.

He spots a target, he quickly casts Spellbook Swap and casts Ice Barrage-Shadow Burst combo (if this is possible. I think it is, since there's enough delay for the combo to work one normal. If it doesn't work, then a simple Ice Barrage would work).

His target is frozen, cast spellbook swap again and now cast 60-damage spell.

With the combo, the max damage is upwards of 120. Without the combo, the max is 90. In both cases your target is now frozen and probably with 5-15 hp left, if any at all. Sure he can eat, but 1 more spell and he's a goner, not to mention you could dds spec him dead at that very moment.

Plus he cannot attack you, because if he does, then not only will you be able to pull off 30 damage, but he will most likely be dealt another 10-25 damage from Vengeance, nearly guaranteeing a kill.

Obviously, you have no idea how Magic works. You cannot POSSIBLY 'combo', seeing as Spellbook Swap takes about 3 seconds to cast. Plus, you can only cast Armageddon once every 5 minutes, hitting only (I stress that: ONLY) 60 damage max, while an AGS can hit 70+ twice every 5 minutes; D claws 84 twice. You don't know the meaning of overpowered..

  14. Green dragons (I recommend the Chaos Tunnels) and farming ranarrs with magic secateurs and supercompost is going to be the fastest gp for you. You'll still need to play around 2+ hours a day, though.

@bladewing - 450k-500k gp/hr is very unrealistic; I'd expect a great hour for him to max at 350-400k from green drags.

It's unrealistic if you kill in the Chaos Tunnels. The money is faster east of clan wars if you can click well.

EDIT: However, he doesn't have 52 summoning, so you may be correct. I'd re-estimate at 400k/hour.

Have you looked at the guy's stats? He'd be lucky to get 250k/hr with competition.

As for my suggestion, I would say BH. Your stats aren't built for pking, but with some nice gear, and a little bit of training, you may have a chance.

  15. You'd destroy KBD. Anyways, just bring Ruby (e) until half Hp, then Diamond. Or you could try Adamant/Broad throughout. Bring your best Magic Defense armor, or Void. Antifire Pots, Super Anti, Brews (optional), Super Restores/Prayer Potions, Sharks/Monkfish. Bring a familiar; Type depends on what you want. BOB for more food, Bunyip perhaps, Fighting familiar for slightly faster kills.

I can get around 4-5 kills with this setup and a Terrorbird, and none of my levels are higher than yours. Goodluck :]

  16. Just the other day, I was pking at BH, and some level 91 (who's one combat level higher than me) comes up and asks me to fight. I completely destroy him, and he comes up to me afterwards. "Lvls?????" I tell him my combat levels. "lollll, nice rnge nd maeg but i cud get tose in a week u noob. btw, nice 62 str l0l, i haev 73. str ownz all noob".

Right. Just felt like sharing the ignorance :]

  17. Reminds me of myself :ohnoes: .

If someone is asking me to add them, and it doesn't seem like I'll ever talk to them again, I keep them on my list for a week, then remove them if we've never talked again during that time. Usually, it's not hard to tell if a person is the kind that would give a "who r u?? how u get my user??? reported" in response to me greeting them with a "Hi." the next day.

  18. I was using the 28 def "1 Def" account as an example as to how utterly stupid your arguements are. Quite clearly, my 28 def ranger IS NOT a 1 def pure. Even you seem to get that.

Now, explain to me, how is your account a Tank Ranger? I'll put as simply as I can:

A TANK BUILD in the MMORPG RuneScape is: An account whose main offensive stats are Range and/or Magic. Their combat is Range and/or Magic based. That is the most important characteristic of a tank. Along with this, they must have a decent defense level, relative to their combat level, in order to "tank" hits.

It does not matter what you do ingame. It does not matter that you do not pk. It does not matter that you own full ahrims, a DFS, and a Master Wand at 111 cb. Tanks MUST be Range and/or Magic based. 10 Range, 5 Defence is a Tank. 10 Str, 5 Range, 5 Defence is not. A level 3 is not.

Here's the definition of a ONE DEFENCE PURE, in the MMORPG RuneScape:

An account with 1 defence, and high offensive stats, in comparison to their defence level (1). Effectively, a 2 str, 1 defence account is a one defence pure. That is as simple as it gets.

    The End.

Now, you would say: "I own a one defence pure. He's 28 defence, but I don't pk on him, nor Do I own armor for players with 28 defence".

That is EXACTLY the kind of reply you give in defense about your (for the lack of a better word) wannabe tank account. Tanks are nothing more than a STAT BUILD. Nothing else matters in determining what accounts are tanks, one-defence pures, zerkers, level3 skillers, initiate/vesta pures, etc.

Yet, you think what matters is what you wear. Yes, gear affects your performance as a tank. But it doesn't change your stat build.

Maxed-Out players don't call themselves "One-defence Pures", because they dont have any armor other than ghostly robes. "Oh, but I don't Pk, and my high level one-def pure clan accepts me as a one-def pure". You don't hear that either.

Although Tanks may refer to GWD Tanks, Clan Wars Tanks (For absorbing damage in a vital war for XXX Rank on XXX), this forum is for PLAYER KILLING. Obviously, he is asking for advice on how to most efficiently build a Tank for Risk-Pking purposes. There is really no point of "specialty combat" accounts otherwise.

Of course, you continue to argue. You keep bringing up irrelevant information (not that this thread is even on topic anymore) into the debate.
