  1. The wyverns attack with melee, ranged and magic. Also, you are limited to one-handed ranged weapons, as you cannot fight them without an Elemental Shield, Mind Shield or Dragonfire Shield. If you melee, you will take damage from the magic attack (up to 10). If you range, you will not take damage (unless you position yourself incorrectly) If you choose to melee: Rune+ armour Elemental/Mind/Dragonfire Shield (must!) Glory/Fury Whip/Dragon+ weapon A poisoned weapon is recommended, as they're weak to slashing attacks. So start off with a poisoned dragon dagger, use up your specs, and swap back to your main weapon. Remember that you cannot melee with 2h weapons, as you need to use the shield. When meleeing, protect from melee and bring prayer potions. You will still take damage from the breath attack, but the shield will reduce it somewhat. If you choose to range: Elemental/Mind/Dragonfire Shield (must!) Knives/Darts/Javelins (1h ranged weapons) Prayer potions (you will have protect from missiles on) Make sure you stand at least 6 squares away, or you will be hit by the wyvern's breath attack (magic). This hits through all armour (except your shield) and can have a similar effect to ice barrage, freezing you in place. The wyverns also have a very high defense, and will take a very long time to kill. You can stand 6+ squares away from a wyvern
  2. It's one of those quests that gets really frustrating if you do it at the bare minimum, but if you're 10-15 levels over it's a breeze. Either bring pots or train a few levels, it makes a difference.
