Smaller turnout this time, probably attributed to a scheduling mistake and/or a loss of interest in TDs, but it was still fun! Bluud and another goer died 3-4 times each, in the some 30-40 odd kills we made. No claws, plenty of charms, herbs, and gravestones :P Afterward Archangel and me went and hung out at the Tormented Wraith because it's basically the exact Almost the same thing. Nothing much there either. Thanks to Bluud for hosting, however much misfortune he endured <3:

Never mind, Bluud wrote the thread date wrong. The hunt is on August 18th, not 17th.

In my experience, the moment we run in there everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, dies and we settle into a clockwork of killing things as soon as they spawn. ;)

This event will be a tossup because it's at 7 in the morning, I might have to prepare the night before and get up a little early just to attend. Should be fun though, looking forward to shards and claws :thumbsup:

Rats, seems I missed half the splits, having left 2 hours in. Oh well, was still there for the dagger, 4 hatchets and the mud staff. I must say this was enjoyable, if not smaller than usual hunts. Seems like we started with ~30-40 people but started dropping off almost as soon as we got in. Went off without a hitch other than a couple deaths on the way in and a small disagreement later on. Overall an enjoyable event, big thanks to Jo and Meredith for hosting! [spoiler=Picspam]

I'm there, let's get some rings and split 30k each! :thumbsup: Also, I have Dagannoths as a slayer task right now so I'm thinking of replacing whatever headgear I'd otherwise use with a full slayer helmet. Is that wise?

3.5 hours and all we have to show for it is 40+ deaths and 867 coins. Oh well, I had fun dying and watching others die.

Would it be acceptable to bring a Vesta spear? It's got higher stab bonuses than Zspear even though I'd have to go buy a new one every hour or so.

Mainly just as guidelines because any other wep/bolts are un-efficient. Depending on how many people show up we could always drop that rule ;) Makes sense, would help to declare outright whether we just want to kill the thing or kill it and become extremely efficient at it.

I'm there, corp is always a fun event. But why are we being such sticklers about the choice of ammunition or melee weapon?

Yeah, I've been wondering this too. Last time I was at TDS was the event I hosted :P

So at this point I'm seeing the final loot count at one pernix body and 3 spirit shields 6 spirit shields and an elixir. Awesome hunt, I must confess I spent half the time running around trying not to die. So I died on the way in due to lack of protection items in the main GWD, and lost my alerter SO I came back in gano with a polypore staff and maged until Ambler asked me to leave <3: In my defence, I WAS using ruby bolts. :D

Should be able to be there, it's on a Saturday for once.

There were plenty of curers, I was one. Ambler nearly got me killed by using an overload, prompting me to heal him for the 499 LP that took me to 89 LP <_<

B-b-b-but tormented wraith is a fun boss too! :-( Other than that fighting CE while wearing nothing but weapons sounds fun :-)

What was final drop count? When I left we were losing steam and looked like a single claw split and 9001 drops for Galaxias would be the biggest event of the day.

I never said I did, I doubt we can have too many people at a boss hunt :thumbsup:

What about people without TIF accounts? :wall: Just add people at the event that join the chat, it is possible to have 2 accounts logged in to different worlds. ;) Good point, I'll add stragglers at the event too. I'd still like people to post early just to get a rough idea of how many we're looking at, the total being augmented by participation of Stev's clan.

I'd be fairly interested in this, but my only question is: When would the usual sort of event take place? Around the same time as normal TET events previously, Saturday at 9 P.M. GMT?
