What you're seeing in the picture is exactly what I can do. The absolute best I can do is move it up a ways so that my character's feet are visible. The game won't allow me to move it anywhere else.

I liked the RS-every-generation-since-classic layout of inventory on right, chat on bottom left, minimap on upper right, and gameplay in the rest of the screen. I think you have already, but have you scaled the actual game window size down to fit into that box? Rather than have it behind the interfaces on the sides. Quite the opposite, I've hardly touched the game window since the NIS update. The actual 3d-world was smaller when the update was first released. Huh? While that is a very good use of space, the game window is also the entire screen.

Is it at all feasible to bring ranged or magic to this? Or would doing so slow down the kill and endanger everyone else?

A quick note: If you save your application as a draft (the code version within), it for some stupid reason reformats it to match HTML-compliant boards, using tags like SPAN and STRONG and HREF. If you're going to save and come back later, copy and paste it into an external program like Notepad.

Should be good fun. I got one of those new Chicken Platters from daily spins, apparently it spawns food on the ground for everyone. Would that be a useful thing to bring along?

I finally cashed out at the 4 hour mark, 1.2m in splits (after missing the first sara-sword split due to being afk :wall:) and a full 999 kicks on a beach ball later. Was great fun, looking forward to February!

I'll try to do the same, I'm in much the same situation. Also, how effective is mage at Bandos? I'd assume it is since Bandos in general is about melee combat.

I agree with this sadly! I disagree, if you want old fashioned click-n'-kill then you just have to build max adrenaline and momentum your way through. From the beta I'll tell you that even a lower level has the capability to fight a given boss, without the recommended equipment or levels. For sure, EoC will ruin the game, but it won't make it unplayable.

Why so early? Can't attend, it's a Friday so I have school + It's at 4 in the morning. Unless you guys last for a full 12 hours. +1 for strange event times, who comes up with these things? :grin:
