Can't be right, last time I checked it would be like 20m for me with needles. Yeah, it's 20.5m from 87 crafting with green leathers and needles. Maybe you were tanning your own hides? Of course i'm tanning lol. I ain't got 20.5m to spare :P

I think it's completely random.

Don't bother collecting your own snapes unless you make less than 250k an hour through your best methods. True. But if you do prayer potions.. You'll need to or you'll make a loss.

Btw there are CC's for SC. fastsc1 through to fastsc15 I think. You can even get an 8 minute game with these. But it averages at about 12 minute games. This allows for 5 tools an hour! Crafting; Best way is green d'hide bodies from 77 craft its costing me around 8m, using SC needles.

Pyramid plunder is a very good way of raising thief.. No matter what level you are! You may even pick up a sceptre! : For herblore. Making the highest possible potion is a good way.. Prayer potions are excellent to do! You don't make much profit but it's relatively fast experience! You should really collect your own snape grass though, this helps a great deal! Hope the advice helps! :D

Green dragons are the best atm. But you should raise up some profitable skills to fall back on incase the prices of bones and d'hide drop. Fish/Wc/Cook/Hunt are probably your best options. Fletching could also be profitable if you gather your own resources.. Runecrafting is good as well but you'll need a lot of training in that.. Best to wait until you can afford to buy essence. :
